About the Walk
Under the theme “Building on Our Strengths,” participants will walk together to celebrate the strengths of older adults and of all those who contribute every day to their well-being. The event, which drew 2,250 people in 2025, is expanding even further this year.
The walk is organized by the Mouvement HABITATS, which aims to strengthen the social participation of older adults and their allies. The Mouvement HABITATS was created by Un et un font mille, a creative company led by François Grisé that uses the arts to reimagine how we live and engage together in our communities. It is presented in partnership with the Fondation AGES, which deploys social geriatrics initiatives for the well-being of older adults in Quebec.
