Experience a 20-season football career in just four minutes, from draft day to retirement.
WASHINGTON, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Pickswise has officially launched “NFL Career,” a new, free-to-play football simulation that lets any sports fan step into the cleats of a pro athlete. Available now across mobile and web platforms, the interactive simulator challenges players to navigate the highs and lows of a full 20-season career in approximately four minutes, entirely free of charge.
Built strictly for the love of the game, “NFL Career” allows users to create their own player across 12 playable positions (from quarterback to punter) and guide them from draft night to retirement. As the seasons simulate, players face critical off-the-field and on-the-field decisions involving contract negotiations, injury management, and locker room conflicts.
Every choice accumulates real consequences. Securing a massive, top-market contract on a rebuilding team might build individual statistics, while taking a pay cut to join a title contender is the faster path to championship rings. It’s rare to easily achieve both, forcing fans to weigh their ultimate career priorities.
At the end of the simulation, players receive a highly shareable Career Card featuring a final grade (from D to A+) and a showcase of any of the 24 possible trophies they unlocked. Because each career run generates a reproducible code, friends can share their cards and challenge each other to play the exact same scenarios to see who builds the better legacy.
Pure Fantasy Game
“Our readers come to us for game-day insights, but they are football fans seven days a week,” said Andrew Wilsher, managing editor at Pickswise. “We wanted to give them something fun to play, just the pure fantasy of being the guy on the field managing a 20-season career.”
“NFL Career” requires no account registration and is completely free to play. Fans can start their rookie season right now by visiting Pickswise Playzone.
Names, logos, and club references are used exclusively for identification within the simulation. Pickswise is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the NFL or any specific club.
Furthermore, all contract values, records, and statistics generated by the simulation are purely fictional for gameplay purposes and do not reflect real-world data.
