LEEDS, England, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Vintage Cash Cow, the UK’s leading convenience-led resale service that helps people turn unwanted valuables into cash, today announces it will become Vintage.com in the UK.

The rebrand comes as the company passes a significant milestone: more than £100 million paid out to UK and European customers for items sent in since it launched in Leeds in 2016.

Vintage.com offers customers a free and protected way to sell unwanted valuables, including jewellery, watches, coins, cameras and collectables, without fees or any obligation to accept an offer. The UK is the company’s founding and largest market and will now operate under the same Vintage.com brand as its growing European business.

UK customers will see no change to the service itself: the same free, no-obligation way to sell unwanted items by post.

Antony Charman, Founder and Chairman of Vintage.com, said: “When we started in 2016, we just wanted to give people an easier way to sell things they’d otherwise let sit in a drawer. Paying out £100 million tells us how much value has been hiding in people’s homes all along, and how much people appreciate a service that’s straightforward and doesn’t ask anything of them upfront.

“Vintage.com is a new name, but it’s the same team, the same standards, and the same promise we’ve always made: send it in, and we’ll tell you what we can offer.”

How Vintage.com works

Unlike marketplaces where people have to identify, value, list and sell each item themselves, Vintage.com operates a direct-purchase model. Customers choose the items they want to sell and pack them securely. The offering provides a free tracked postage label, making it simple to send it back for appraisal.

Each box is assessed by trained appraisers, with specialists covering categories including jewellery, watches, coins, precious metals, cameras and collectables. Customers receive a single valuation covering everything in their box and can choose whether to accept it. Around 80% choose to do so; if they decline, their items are returned free of charge.

Every box is digitally tracked throughout the process with shipping and contents protection included, bringing appraisal, logistics and resale together in one service rather than leaving customers to manage each item separately.

Growing across the UK and Europe

The company has expanded rapidly across Europe over the past year and now operates in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and Spain, with Ireland recently becoming its next market. Demand has driven rapid growth behind the scenes too: the company has scaled from a team of 160 in 2023 to more than 800 people today.

As the business has grown, Vintage.com has invested in the appraisal expertise and operational standards needed to handle increasing volumes consistently. Its Appraisal Academy, launched in May 2026, provides specialist training across 17 appraisal categories, combining structured learning with hands-on experience alongside established appraisers.

More than 42,000 customers have independently reviewed Vintage Cash Cow and Vintage.com on Trustpilot, with a combined TrustScore of 4.4 out of 5.

The rebrand will be rolled out across the company’s UK website, packaging and customer communications over the coming weeks, with the underlying service, team and standards remaining unchanged.
