DaVinci Lock President Hayth to lead the executive team; Agnello joins from Go Store It; Oakley promoted to CTO as company builds its C-suite for an accelerated phase of growth

RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — 10 Federal, a leading technology-driven self-storage owner and operator, today announced the formation of a formal executive leadership team built to accelerate the company’s growth. Geoff Hayth has been named President and Chief Customer Experience Officer (CXO), Beau Agnello has joined as Chief Operating Officer, and Brian Oakley has been promoted from Vice President of Technology to Chief Technology Officer, all effective September 28, 2026. Together with Chief A.I. Officer Christopher Taylor, appointed in April, the team reports to Co-CEOs Brad and Cliff Minsley.

10 Federal’s record includes more than a decade of industry firsts, from pioneering the remote-managed facility model to building DaVinci Lock and Tenant Connect in-house to appointing the self-storage industry’s first Chief A.I. Officer earlier this year. The formation of the executive leadership team is the first in a series of moves designed to significantly increase the company’s rate of growth across acquisitions, third-party management and adjacent asset classes. Additional announcements are expected in the coming months.

Hayth joins the executive team from DaVinci Lock, the 10 Federal-founded access control platform he leads as President and will continue to lead. He previously spent eight years at Extra Space Storage, most recently as Director of Operations. Agnello joins from Go Store It Self Storage, where he served as Chief Operating Officer while the company grew from roughly 100 operating properties to more than 200 across 27 states, including its 2024 merger with Snapbox Self Storage that combined more than 10 million square feet under a single platform.

“Geoff has been part of 10 Federal’s story for years, as a board member, as the leader who built DaVinci Lock into a platform used across the industry, and as one of the clearest thinkers we know on what customers actually want from a storage experience,” said Brad Minsley, Co-CEO of 10 Federal. “The timing is intentional. We are entering a phase of tremendous growth, and we need the right people in the right seats ahead of what is to come. With Geoff, Beau, Brian and Chris in place, we have them. Cliff and I are taking a more active role in the company’s day-to-day operations because we believe the next few years are the most important in this company’s history, and we want to be on the field for them.”

The appointments come during an active period of expansion. In recent months, 10 Federal opened two ground-up Class A facilities in Richmond Hill, Georgia, and Lake Worth, Texas, acquired three facilities in Azle and Springtown, Texas, adding more than 2,600 units and 375,000 net rentable square feet, and entered retail real estate with the acquisition of Eric Lane Shopping Center in Burlington, North Carolina.

Since acquiring its first self-storage facility in 2015, 10 Federal has built a proprietary automated management platform that includes predictive analytics, automated access control, A.I.-driven property auditing, drone-based security and A.I.-powered voice and customer service agents. That platform now supports operations at 131 properties across 15 states. The executive team’s mandate is to extend it across a much larger footprint.

Geoff Hayth, President and Chief Customer Experience Officer

Hayth has served as President of DaVinci Lock since 2022, leading the development of its customer-facing platform and its growth into an access control system now used in 1 out of every 6 storage facilities nationwide. He has also served as a board member and strategic advisor across the 10 Federal family of companies. As President and Chief Customer Experience Officer, Hayth will lead the executive team and own the customer experience across 10 Federal’s platform as the company grows.

“We built an industry leading operating platform, and we are primed and ready to grow quickly as we enter this next phase,” said Hayth. “I worked alongside Beau at Extra Space, and I know exactly how capable he is as both an operator and a leader. He isn’t joining 10 Federal to maintain what we’ve built. He’s joining to multiply it. Pairing him with Brian, who built the technology foundation this company runs on, and Chris, who is building what comes next, gives us a leadership team that can carry this platform a long way.”

Beau Agnello, Chief Operating Officer

Agnello brings more than 14 years of self-storage operating experience across public REIT, private equity-backed and owner-operator platforms. He began his career at Extra Space Storage in 2012 and rose to Division Vice President, overseeing approximately 170 properties and 11 million square feet across Texas and Oklahoma. He later led operations for a privately held owner-operator before joining Go Store It as Chief Operating Officer in 2023, where he led the integration of the Snapbox merger and the company’s investments in remote operations and contact center performance. As Chief Operating Officer, he will oversee operations and marketing for 10 Federal’s automated self-storage portfolio and growing third-party management business, including field and remote operations, revenue management and the onboarding of newly acquired and managed properties.

“Most operators say their people are the key to their success, but very few use technology to actually put their best people in front of the customer every time,” said Agnello. “10 Federal is the exception. The automation here isn’t a pilot program, it’s business. My job is to take that platform and scale it, and I don’t think there is a better place in self-storage to do that right now.”

Brian Oakley, Chief Technology Officer

Oakley has led 10 Federal’s technology organization since joining the company in 2023, directing the enterprise platforms, automation and digital infrastructure that underpin its remote-managed operating model. He previously served as Vice President of Technology at Realterm, an independent global investment manager focused on transportation real estate, where he led enterprise technology strategy and a firm-wide digital transformation as assets under management grew from approximately $1 billion to $12 billion. Earlier, he held technology, data architecture and quantitative roles at T. Rowe Price and the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. As Chief Technology Officer, Oakley will oversee technology strategy, product and enterprise platforms across the company, working alongside Taylor to bring A.I. capabilities into production at scale.

“Every product and platform decision we make gets measured against three things: does it improve the customer experience, does it make the operation more efficient, and does it create greater value for our investors?” said Oakley. “We believe the best technology should accomplish all three. My job as CTO is to make sure that remains true as we grow.”
