Award-ready designation gives U.S. government agencies a faster route to pursue long-endurance unmanned aircraft capability

RENO, Nev., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Kraus Hamdani Aerospace (KHA) today announced that its K1000ULE platform is award-ready on the Army Applications Laboratory’s DevX Autonomy Marketplace. For government teams that need airborne awareness and connectivity, the designation creates a potential direct-to-award pathway to acquire the aircraft without starting a new competitive solicitation.

The fully electric K1000ULE is the world’s longest-endurance fully electric Group 2 UAS, delivering persistent intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), resilient communications, and electronic warfare capabilities from a single autonomous platform. The open architecture and modular payload integration enable the K1000ULE to adapt to evolving mission requirements while extending awareness and connectivity at the edge.

Through DevX Autonomy, the K1000ULE solution has completed a competitive assessment process and is available for government customers to review. Agencies with an applicable requirement and funding can engage KHA on their mission needs and work with their contracting activity on scope, milestones, and a potential award. This direct-to-award pathway may allow them to proceed without a new competitive solicitation under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), subject to agency contracting review.

The marketplace is available beyond the Army. Other U.S. government agencies, including the Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, and Department of Homeland Security, can request access and pursue an award against the same K1000ULE solution.

Government customers with a .mil or .gov email address can request access through Army Applications Laboratory DevX Autonomy, search for Kraus Hamdani Aerospace, and view the six-minute K1000ULE solution video.
