BURLINGTON, Mass., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Finvi, a leading provider of enterprise workflow automation software and payments solutions, today announced the appointment of Laura Granahan as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Granahan brings more than three decades of leadership experience across both the military and private sectors. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, she was a member of one of the Academy’s early classes to include women and later became the first woman assigned to a Combat Logistics Force ship as ship’s company.

Following her military service, Laura earned an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and joined Staples, where she spent more than a decade in finance and business leadership roles. Her career has since included executive leadership positions across publicly traded as well as privately held companies such as athenahealth, SharkNinja, and Presidio.

Over the last decade, her work has increasingly focused on businesses serving the accounts receivable management and revenue cycle management industries, giving her a close understanding of the customers and challenges that define this market.

Granahan has served as Finvi’s Chief Financial Officer since 2024, and has led the company alongside Jim Lacy, Executive Chairman of the Board, through the Office of the CEO since June. Today’s announcement formalizes that leadership structure.

“Throughout my career, I’ve learned that leadership begins with listening and that a business exists to serve its customers,” said Granahan. “Across industries, there is a consistent reality: Organizations don’t have a permanent right to serve their customers. They earn that right every day.”

“Since stepping into the Office of the CEO, I’ve spent time meeting with the people who built this company and helped shape this industry, including former CEOs and leaders, customers, and respected voices like Rozanne Andersen (former Ontario Systems Chief Compliance Officer),” said Granahan. “Their perspectives have been invaluable, and I plan to keep drawing on them as we shape what’s next for Finvi and chart our go-forward direction.” Laura is working with Rozanne specifically to identify ways to leverage Rozanne’s vast experience.

“Laura’s leadership experience is unusually broad,” said Jim Lacy, Chairman of the Board. “She’s led teams in the military, held both finance and business leadership roles in large companies, and guided organizations through real change. That combination is exactly what Finvi needs right now.”

Granahan noted that additional updates, including further leadership announcements and advisory appointments aimed at deepening Finvi’s relationships with its customers, will follow in the coming months.

“Finvi has a proud history, strong customer relationships, and an exceptional team,” said Granahan. “Our focus now is listening to our customers, investing in our people and products, and continuing to earn the trust they place in us every day.”

Granahan’s appointment is effective immediately. She has already begun to meet with customers across the country and will present a formal state-of-the-company update at Finvi’s user conference, PowerUp, which is expected to return in 2027.
