ALPHARETTA, Ga., Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Business Technology Architects (BTA) today named Dr. Fatena El-Masri AI Practice Leader. She will drive strategy, architecture, and delivery for BTA’s AI practice, which helps enterprises bring AI in-house to protect intellectual property, strengthen security, and maintain data sovereignty.

“Fatena has carried AI from whiteboard to production for one of the world’s largest banks, a federal regulator, and a navy. Our customers now get that experience on their side of the table.” Ken Fee, CEO and co-founder of BTA.

The appointment follows BTA’s completion of the Cisco AI Technical Assessment under Cisco’s MINT (Mentored Install Network Training) program in July. BTA has shipped more than 1,000 projects on its SIMPLE methodology with zero project failures.

Dr. El-Masri joins with more than 18 years of AI/ML and data science leadership across government, defense, and finance. She spent 13 years at the FDIC leading quantitative risk analytics and AI/NLP innovation, earning three FDIC STAR Awards. As Executive Director of Data Analytics & ML Intelligence Operations at JPMorgan Chase, she led four enterprise AI products, including the agent assistant EVEE, that generated more than $10M in annual savings. As an AI/ML Lead and Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Australian Navy, she directed prototyping for the Maritime Warfare Center and raised analyst productivity by 36%.

“Enterprises don’t struggle to start AI projects. They struggle to get them into production with their data protected and their regulators satisfied,” said Ken Fee, CEO and co-founder of BTA. “Fatena has carried AI from whiteboard to production for one of the world’s largest banks, a federal regulator, and a navy. Our customers now get that experience on their side of the table.”

She is also a builder. Dr. Fatena El-Masri works hands-on across the full machine learning lifecycle, developing LLM and generative AI solutions with PyTorch, JAX, and Hugging Face. She has taught at George Mason University and George Washington University, and is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.

“What drew me to BTA is that they architect, design, and deploy end to end, then mentor the customer’s team to run it themselves,” said Dr. El-Masri. “That is how AI adoption should work. My job is to make sure every customer who brings AI in-house with BTA gets both the business strategy and the engineering rigor the technology demands.”
