The report shows continued progress toward the company’s SBTi-validated near-term and net-zero targets, including a 2.5% year-over-year reduction in Scope 2 emissions tied to the optimization of Ontinue’s global office footprint.

Total emissions across Scopes rose by approximately 3% compared to 2024. Ontinue attributes the increase to two factors: continued business growth that increased employee business travel, and a planned methodology upgrade that moved fuel and energy-related activity accounting from a spend-based to an activity-based approach. The latter change improves the precision of Ontinue’s emissions data and reflects the kind of reporting maturity SBTi expects companies to build over time.
