Transaction to Boost nbkc’s Banking as a Service Business and Deposit Base

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — nbkc bank today announced that it filed an application with the FDIC to assume the consumer-focused Banking as a Service (BaaS) portfolio maintained by LSBX, Lincoln Savings Bank’s BaaS division, which would increase the scale of its BaaS business and overall deposit base.

The transaction is anticipated to close in early 2027 subject to regulatory approval. Terms were not disclosed. It follows a September announcement that Lincoln Savings Bank parent Lincoln Bancorp, Reinbeck, Iowa, will merge with and into Equity Bancshares, Inc., headquartered in Wichita, Kan.

“This transaction is a natural fit for nbkc and is a great opportunity to continue growing our BaaS business,” said Michael Bartkoski, president and CEO of nbkc bank. “It allows us to further strengthen our deposit base and build upon an established program with significant momentum.” Bartkoski said he expects the LSBX offering to be merged into nbkc’s BaaS business and to go to market under the nbkc brand.

“We believe nbkc is an excellent successor and home for our LSBX customers,” said Sean Willett, CEO of Lincoln Savings Bank. “nbkc has built an exceptional Banking as a Service capability, and they are well known for effectively combining technology and a human touch. We believe in that approach and are confident it will serve our customers very well.”

Through BaaS offerings, banks provide nonbank fintech companies, which do not have banking charters, the opportunity to provide banking products such as deposits, checking, debit cards and personal loans to their customers. Fintech companies’ clients interact with the fintech company’s app on the front end, and their accounts are opened with the partner bank, typically on a private label basis. Fintech companies gain the ability to offer banking products, and banks offering BaaS gain access to those companies’ retail customers.

nbkc bank has developed meaningful scale in its BaaS business, with approximately 13 BaaS relationships with fintech companies, approximately 3.6 million BaaS customers and 30 dedicated BaaS employees.

“Our investment in our BaaS offering enables us to take on a transaction of this scale with confidence in our ability to provide a seamless, excellent customer experience,” Bartkoski said.

(NASDAQ: TROO) (“TROOPS” or the “Company”) today announced that the Company has entered into a term sheet (the “Term Sheet”) with Young Platform S.p.A., a European digital asset technology provider, designed to accelerate the development and launch of the Company’s planned digital asset exchange infrastructure. The Term Sheet will become binding on November 1, 2026 and sets out principal terms and conditions upon which the parties shall execute a license agreement (the “License Agreement”).

Through the Term Sheet and the License Agreement, the Company intends to, in collaboration with EFFORCE Group, launch and operate a digital asset exchange based on Young Platform S.p.A’s proprietary digital asset exchange platform. NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES and OTTAWA, ON, Oct. 30, 2026 /CNW/ — For many homeowners, custom window treatments promise a perfect fit but deliver uncertainty. TWOPAGES is closing that gap by connecting vertically integrated manufacturing with professional support throughout the buying journey. Through its Behind the Curtain documentary series, TWOPAGES offers a closer look at the craftsmanship behind its custom window treatments.

Craftsmanship Behind Every Order

From fabric development, dyeing, printing and embroidery to skilled manual cutting and sewing, shaping and quality inspection, TWOPAGES manages every major production stage with care and precision. Close attention to fabric behavior, measurements, seams and finishing helps ensure consistent quality, accurate dimensions, graceful drape and lasting performance. The brand offers 50+ collections and 1,000+ fabrics, with standard drapery production taking 3–7 days*.

Beyond craftsmanship, TWOPAGES pairs its manufacturing strength with three services supporting product selection, measurement, and installation.

Through its Design Consult Service, customers receive one-on-one guidance on fabrics, colors, hardware, and products based on their space, lifestyle, and budget. Zoom Measuring Consult provides real-time guidance; the first 20 minutes are complimentary. In eligible locations, the In-Home Measurement & Installation Service offers professional measurement or installation.

By linking front-end service with back-end production, TWOPAGES reduces uncertainty throughout the custom window treatment process.

“We believe light shapes a space, and a space shapes how people feel. That is why every detail matters–from the way a fabric filters natural light to the precision of its construction and the support customers receive throughout the process,” said Ray Chen, Founder and CEO of TWOPAGES. “Our goal is not simply to make beautiful window treatments, but to help create homes where people can slow down, feel at ease, and be more present in everyday life.”

Since 2015, TWOPAGES has served over 600,000 households worldwide, a record of trust built on craftsmanship, service, and a belief that a home should give people space to slow down, reconnect, and simply be.
