The list recognizes U.S.-based companies that achieved the greatest reduction in their core emissions intensity (Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions per revenue) between 2020 and 2022 with publicly available emissions data and revenue of over $50 million. Other considerations included tons of CO2 equivalents emitted, total emissions reduction, disclosure through CDP, and participation in the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

In 2021 Diamond announced a multi-year commitment to purchase carbon offsets through Climate Action Reserve (CAR) to reduce its carbon footprint. Diamond’s support of high-quality carbon offset projects will help foster reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution, support activities that reduce local air pollution, spur growth in new green technologies, and allow emission reduction goals to be met at lower cost.

In 2023 Diamond set new emissions reduction targets through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), with levels required to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. The targets covering greenhouse gas emissions from Diamond’s operations (scopes 1 and 2) are consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C, the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement. Diamond commits to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year, and to measure and reduce its Scope 3 emissions.

HONEYWELL TO SELL PRODUCTIVITY SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES BUSINESS TO BRADY CORPORATION

Accelerates portfolio simplification as Honeywell prepares for the planned spin-off of its Aerospace business, on track for Q3 2026

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON) today announced that it has agreed to sell its Productivity Solutions and Services (“PSS”) business to Brady Corporation, an international manufacturer of identification and protection solutions, for $1.4 billion in an all-cash transaction. The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026 and is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

The transaction follows the review of strategic alternatives Honeywell commenced in July 2025 for PSS and its Warehouse and Workflow Solutions (“WWS”) business to further simplify the company’s portfolio alongside the planned spin-off of its Aerospace business, which is expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2026. Honeywell remains actively engaged in its assessment of strategic alternatives for WWS, which operates commercially under the brand names Intelligrated and Transnorm.

“With the PSS divestiture, we are nearing completion of our multi-year portfolio transformation, further accelerating value creation as we prepare to separate our Aerospace and Automation businesses into two independent industry leading public companies.
