Sungrow iHomeManager Debuts in Europe, Amplifying Household Renewable Energy Income over 10%

Published

on

MUNICH, June 20, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Sungrow, the global leading PV inverter and energy storage system provider, made a groundbreaking announcement with the launch of their latest product, the iHomeManager during the Intersolar Europe 2024. Powered by Sungrow’s cutting-edge AI technology, this intelligent home energy management solution customizes optimal energy strategies for households based on solar power predictions and analysis of household load consumption. Acting as the “smart brain” of homes, it significantly increases renewable energy income by 10% or more*.

Boost renewable energy income by over 10% with AI-enhanced electricity management
The iHomeManager incorporates Sungrow’s self-developed AI Based Strategy (AIBS), utilizing advanced algorithms such as deep reinforcement learning to autonomously analyze household electricity consumption patterns and predict energy demands. By integrating real-time market electricity prices with future 24-hour solar PV generation forecasts, it intelligently schedules the charging and discharging of the ESS, reducing electricity costs and maximizing income.

During periods of abundant solar power generation during the day, the iHomeManager takes proactive measures to redirect surplus renewable energy to heat pumps, thereby substantially enhancing the utilization of renewable energy resources. During low electricity price periods in the early morning, the iHomeManager efficiently charges the energy storage system (ESS). It then discharges the stored energy during peak demand and high-price periods, taking advantage of price variations, while efficiently utilizing the remaining optimal state of charge (SOC) to accommodate solar PV power. Overall, the iHomeManager can boost household renewable energy income by 10% or more.

Moreover, the iHomeManager provides advanced 72-hour weather forecasting, enabling timely ESS dispatch and alerting users to lock their electricity supply to maintain a fully charged state, thereby avoiding inconveniences caused by unexpected power outages or limitations.

Wireless networking support and device connection within 60s
Compact and lightweight, the iHomeManager offers easy installation. It supports both wired and wireless networking, allowing for seamless connection to the cloud within 60 seconds. With DI Ripple Control Receiver compatibility, additional IO expansion is unnecessary. It also features a built-in meter, eliminating the need for additional construction costs and simplifying deployment.

Moreover, the iHomeManager boasts exceptional compatibility by seamlessly integrating with various devices and charging stations. It adheres to the ETSI EN 303 645 security standard and is GDPR certified, guaranteeing top-tier product safety and data protection.

Looking ahead, the iHomeManager will integrate energy management with AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) technology, enabling intelligent interconnectivity among household devices. Users can remotely monitor and manage their home energy anytime, anywhere, enjoying the smart and convenient energy experience facilitated by AIoT-enabled renewable energy.

*Note: The provided data is based on measurements conducted in homes equipped with solar energy storage and heat pumps. Actual income may vary due to factors such as household load types and power consumption.

New Compact Air Purifier Features AirDoctor’s UltraHEPA® Filtration Technology for Use in Hotel Rooms, Vacation Rentals and Other Spaces Where Portability Matters

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — AirDoctor is excited to announce the launch of the AirDoctor GO!, a portable air purifier designed for travelers and everyone on the GO! As wellness becomes a greater priority, AirDoctor’s new purifier addresses an often-overlooked concern: indoor air quality in hotels, vacation rentals, work offices and other spaces where people have limited control over airborne contaminants and ventilation.

Designed to move with you and be travel-friendly, AirDoctor GO! attaches to the telescoping handle of a carry-on suitcase and is small enough to fit beneath an airplane seat as a personal item. Beyond travel, AirDoctor GO! is made for portability between everyday environments, whether bringing it on road trips, to and from the office, using it in a dorm room, or moving it between spaces at home.

The purifier comes with a carrying case and a six-foot power cord, and features universal voltage compatibility (100–240V) for international travel. Built into its compact design, AirDoctor GO! features the brand’s advanced 3-stage filtration system, combining UltraHEPA® technology, Premium Carbon/VOC material, and a pre-filter in a single replaceable filter assembly. The unit circulates the air in a typical hotel-sized room (270 square feet) approximately three times per hour.

“One of the first things people notice when they walk into a hotel room is bad indoor air quality,” said Helen Christoni, Chief Business Officer at AirDoctor. “It could be lingering smoke from previous guests, musty mold or mildew, strong cleaning products or artificial fragrances used to mask odors. We developed AirDoctor GO! to give people a way to take control of the air they breathe wherever they GO!.”

AirDoctor GO! also features a built-in aromatherapy tray that allows people to add a preferred scent to their surroundings. The proprietary combined AirDoctor UltraHEPA & VOC filter is designed to be replaced approximately every six months, with an indicator light that signals when a replacement is needed. An optional premium carrying case allows the purifier to operate while inside the case.

AirDoctor GO! is available at AirDoctor.com for $249. The unit measures 15 inches tall, 11 inches wide and 7 inches deep, and weighs 9.8 pounds.

Milestone Brings Greater Video Context and Simpler Management with XProtect 2026 R2 and Arcules

Published

on

By

Milestone Systems, a world leader in open platform video management software, today announced XProtect 2026 R2 and the fall 2026 updates to Arcules.
Together, the releases help organizations turn growing numbers of cameras, devices, sites and operational data into clearer, more manageable operations across on-premises, cloud and hybrid deployments.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As video environments expand, the challenge is less about accessing more video data and more about helping operators understand what is happening while giving administrators efficient ways to manage the systems behind it. XProtect 2026 R2 adds context around incidents and simplifies administration of growing installations, while Arcules strengthens resilience, operational insight and secure communication across cloud and hybrid environments.

“Our customers are managing more cameras, more sites and more information than ever, and they need that complexity to work for them rather than against them,” said Andrew Burnett, CTO, Milestone Systems. “With XProtect 2026 R2 and the latest Arcules updates, we’re giving operators clearer context when incidents happen and giving administrators simpler ways to keep growing systems secure, current, and reliable, however they choose to deploy.”

Seeing Incidents in Context
Maps in XProtect add location context to video security, bringing cameras, alarms, connected devices, and live video together in geographic and floor plan views. Maps is designed for complex environments such as campuses, hospitals, and airports, where hundreds or thousands of cameras can make it difficult to pinpoint an incident. It helps operators see where an event is happening, identify nearby cameras, and open live video directly from the map, supporting faster response and stronger situational awareness. Maps will be available in future XProtect Smart Client releases.

New Sticky Notes keep important operational knowledge where operators work. Users can attach a note to each camera view in XProtect Smart Client to capture site-specific information, shift handover details, or operating instructions, with color coding to signal priority. Administrators manage and configure notes centrally through the XProtect Management Client, helping teams maintain continuity from one shift to the next.

Simpler Management for Growing Systems
XProtect 2026 R2 also reduces the administrative effort of running large, distributed installations. Server Logs centralizes audit, system, and rule logs generated across the XProtect environment, giving administrators a consistent way to review activity, troubleshoot issues, and support compliance reporting. It also integrates with preferred monitoring and third-party log management systems.

Permission Inheritance lets newly added cameras and devices automatically receive the access permissions already assigned to their group, so administrators define rules once and apply them consistently as the system grows.

Extending the Value of XProtect with Milestone Care
The value of XProtect continues well beyond initial deployment, and Milestone Care helps customers protect and extend that investment by keeping their systems current with the latest releases. XProtect Remote Manager, available through Care Plus, gives partners and end customers secure, browser-based oversight of multi-site XProtect deployments. It delivers system health updates in seconds so teams can prioritize the actions that keep their systems running at their best.

Arcules Strengthens Resilience and Insight in the Cloud
For Arcules customers, Cloud Backup for Edge Gateways provides off-site video retention by uploading a lower-resolution secondary stream to the cloud, improving resilience while minimizing bandwidth and storage requirements. A new integration with Triton Sensors extends video security with environmental and occupancy awareness. It brings sensor data together with video and event data so users can create alarms, rules, and video-linked sensor events from a single platform. Additional Arcules updates include:

Secure Device Communication automatically encrypts communication between gateways and supported cameras using HTTPS, protecting video and credentials without additional configuration.

Faster Local Video Streaming speeds stream startup and delivers smoother multi-camera viewing and playback, including in complex network environments.

Arcules-XProtect Operational Enhancements bring safer upgrades, improved diagnostics, and role-based alarm access to hybrid environments.

As a continually updated cloud service, Arcules delivers new capabilities automatically and does not require Milestone Care.

Together, these releases reflect Milestone’s continued investment in helping customers operate with greater clarity and confidence. To learn more about how XProtect 2026 R2 and Arcules can bring greater clarity to your video operations, visit www.milestonesys.com
