The 907 kW Project is Expected to Generate 1.17 Gigawatt-Hours of Clean Energy Annually While Curtailing Rising Utility Costs

WAYNE, Pa., Aug. 29, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Dynamic Energy, a leader in distributed clean energy solutions, has completed a 907 kW commercial rooftop solar project with Cooper-Booth Wholesale Co., a full-service distributor for convenience store merchandise in the Mid-Atlantic. Situated on 61,000 square feet of industrial rooftop located at the company’s Mountville, Pennsylvania warehouse and headquarters, the project will offset Cooper-Booth’s rising energy costs while driving the company’s green energy initiatives.

The project is expected to generate approximately 1.17 gigawatt-hours of renewable energy annually, offsetting 817 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year, equivalent to the amount of carbon sequestered by 950 acres of US forest in one year. The solar installation includes 1,680 solar modules.

“Working with Dynamic Energy has been a great experience,” said Barry Margolis, president of Cooper-Booth Wholesale Company. “Choosing to go solar was an easy decision, given the significant energy savings and the positive impact on our sustainability goals. This project aligns with our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint while also making a sound financial investment.”

With headquarters in Pennsylvania, Dynamic Energy has extensive experience developing and constructing clean energy solutions in the Mid-Atlantic and across the United States. Dynamic developed, designed, and constructed the Cooper-Booth project to maximize state and federal solar incentives. As the developer-partner, Dynamic collaborated with the local utility and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to manage the complexities of interconnection, permitting, and installation.

“Dynamic is honored to partner with Cooper-Booth to support its energy needs and sustainability objectives,” said Oliver Davis, President of Dynamic Energy. “In addition to being a smart capital investment, this project will reduce grid congestion and deliver a cost-effective way to cut corporate emissions. Lastly, collaborating with Cooper-Booth underscores Dynamic’s mission to distribute energy and generate change.”

Flexxon Partners with Tech4Biz Solutions to co-develop server infrastructure that is secure by default

As organisations increasingly look to build their own servers to run AI systems, the two companies are working to ensure purpose-built infrastructure and security go hand-in-hand

SINGAPORE and BENGALURU, India, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Flexxon, a pioneer in secure memory storage and hardware-based cybersecurity solutions, today announced its strategic investment in Tech4Biz Solutions. The partnership will see the companies co-develop solutions that enable efficient and reliable deployment of secure server and data centre operations – a heightened need as enterprises move Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads on-premises, onto infrastructure they own and must secure themselves.

The investment formalises the ongoing relationship between the two companies, and deepens joint development across the parties’ product lines: Flexxon’s X-PHY hardware security, and Tech4Biz’s Cloudtopiaa, its sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure platform.

X-PHY is Flexxon’s hardware-based cybersecurity brand. It puts AI-powered threat detection inside the drive’s own firmware and hardware, below the operating system. X-PHY’s hardware-based protection is designed to keep working even when the software above it has been compromised.

Cloudtopiaa designs, builds and operates public cloud, private cloud, HPC, GPU inference and AI data centre environments for organisations that want full control of their data, models and AI agents, in the jurisdiction they choose.

Ms Camellia Chan, Co-founder and CEO of Flexxon, said: “Having worked with Tech4Biz for several years, I am glad to take this next step and deepen the partnership as we continue building towards more secure, more reliable standards together. We are building hardware that is secure by default, carrying that protection from devices into the servers and data centres enterprises now run themselves – the part of the stack where traditional security leaves the widest gaps.”

Ms Yasha Khandelwal, Co-founder and CEO of Tech4Biz Solutions, said, “When a company owns its whole AI stack, there is no hyperscaler behind it to absorb a mistake, so the design and the security have to be right from day one. We have spent years building and running sovereign infrastructure in production for enterprises and institutions, and bringing X-PHY into that design means every server we deliver will ship with protection built into the hardware itself.”

Where AI capability outruns protection

AI has quickly moved from pilots into systems that run on a company’s own data every hour of the day, and the data, models and agent memory involved are now among the most sensitive assets a company holds. More organisations want that capability on infrastructure they own, in the jurisdiction they choose. Accordingly, Gartner forecasts worldwide sovereign cloud infrastructure-as-a-service spending will reach US$80 billion in 2026, a 35.6 per cent increase on 2025, with mature Asia-Pacific markets among the fastest growing and governments the largest buyers. That shift moves the responsibility for securing the infrastructure back to the organisations running it.

These AI systems now work across enterprise data with valid credentials, often without a user approving each action. Software defences remain necessary, but they run on the same layers an attacker is trying to take over – and when those safeguards fail, there must be an immutable layer that protects the data.

What X-PHY and Cloudtopiaa will deliver

The parties will collaborate specifically on integrating Flexxon’s X-PHY hardware security expertise with Tech4Biz’s existing infrastructure capability through Cloudtopiaa, its cloud platform and infrastructure offering.

On the immediate horizon is the integration of X-PHY’s hardware security solutions into Cloudtopiaa environments, so that server estates are secured by default and protection arrives with the machine rather than being bolted on after. For enterprises, that means the security work no longer grows with every server added.

This includes the design, build and deployment of secure infrastructure that organisations can own and run outright. Development is already under way, with commercial deployment expected in 2027.

Cloudtopiaa already runs production workloads for customers including L&T Technology Services, which runs two production engineering platforms on it – a quality management platform for GxP-regulated industries and a multi-agent enterprise AI platform – and Cognitive PRISM. It is also building a three-year private cloud lab ecosystem for Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru.

The partnership will focus first on governments, regulated enterprises, research institutions and data centre operators in Singapore, India and North America.

Stanbic Bank Ghana and RD Technologies Explore More Efficient Ghana-Asia Trade Settlement

Proposed bank-led pilot to bring together local banking services and digital-asset settlement infrastructure to support Ghanaian businesses paying Asian suppliers

ACCRA, Ghana, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Stanbic Bank Ghana and RD Technologies today announced that they are working together to explore a bank-led cross-border trade settlement solution supported by stablecoin technology. The initial focus will be legitimate business-to-business payments from Ghanaian businesses to suppliers in Asia, with regulatory engagement, technical validation and pilot planning forming the next phase of work.

For Ghanaian businesses paying suppliers in Asia, cross-border payments can involve multiple intermediaries, adding time, cost and complexity to settlement and payment tracking. The parties intend to assess how digital-asset settlement infrastructure can complement existing banking services to deliver a more efficient and transparent trade payment experience within the regulated banking system.

Under the proposed model, Stanbic Bank Ghana would remain the customer-facing bank, responsible for customer onboarding and account opening, know-your-customer (KYC) checks, transaction approval and local-currency settlement, together with the associated local compliance oversight. RD Technologies would provide payment technology, digital-asset infrastructure and access to its Asian settlement network, coordinating overseas settlement. Stablecoin technology would support the underlying cross-border settlement process, while business customers would access the relevant banking services through Stanbic Bank Ghana.

Subject to the requisite regulatory no-objection, the parties intend to establish a project team to progress technical testing and the design of a controlled pilot. Stanbic Bank Ghana will support the pilot by facilitating participation of eligible customers introduced for the proposed use case, subject to the bank’s normal onboarding, compliance, risk assessment, and transaction-approval requirements.

Darwin Mireku, Head, Strategy Enablement, Stanbic Bank Ghana, said:

“Reliable and efficient payments are essential for Ghanaian businesses engaged in international trade. Through this collaboration, we aim to assess how new technology can help customers settle legitimate trade payments with suppliers in Asia more smoothly. Customer needs, compliance and risk management will guide the design and testing of the proposed solution as we engage with the relevant regulators and work towards a controlled pilot.”

Rita Liu, CEO, RD Technologies, said:

“This collaboration brings together Stanbic Bank Ghana’s domestic banking capabilities and RD Technologies’ digital-asset infrastructure and connectivity with Asian markets. Our shared objective is to explore a secure, compliant and more efficient way for Ghanaian businesses to settle legitimate trade payments with suppliers in Asia. The next phase will focus on regulatory engagement, technical validation and the design of a controlled pilot.”

The parties will continue engagement with the relevant regulatory stakeholders and, subject to the necessary regulatory no-objection, proceed with technical validation and operating-model design. Through this initiative, the parties aim to support the modernization of Ghana’s payments ecosystem and strengthen its trade connectivity with Asian markets.
