Releases all-inclusive solutions to address customer harassment

TOKYO, Aug. 30, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — transcosmos hereby announces that the company will launch a new service designed specifically for contact center business, which is clients’ customer-facing operations, to address “customer harassment,” i.e., customers harassing front-line workers with aggressive behavior or unreasonable requests. In recent years, customer harassment has become an increasing social problem in Japan, in particular in the call center industry. As an industry leader, transcosmos will face this issue head-on and help clients take measures against customer harassment by providing all-inclusive solutions powered by generative AI (GenAI).

Making the most of trans-DX for Support, transcosmos will enhance business-to-consumer communication and CX while ensuring employee safety and security.

The service consists primarily of three key elements as follows:

Define the meaning of customer harassment
transcosmos defines the meaning of customer harassment in detail based on its long-standing record in the call-center business. By sharing the same definition with their employees, clients can identify and address customer harassments at an early stage.

Propose GenAI-powered measures
During a customer call, the service performs emotion analysis based on automated voice analysis, enabling clients to detect customer harassment in real time. Once identified, agents can take measures such as asking for supervisors’ support and terminating the call. With this system in place, clients can protect their agents and reduce their stress.

Implement and manage customer harassment measures
transcosmos will provide end-to-end services for clients to take measures from planning to implementation. The service includes creating a manual for handling customer harassment issues, running training sessions, conducting regular assessments, and proposing plans for improvement.

Partnership streamlines fulfillment services and supports local businesses in expanding their reach

BUCHAREST, Romania, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Temu and Poșta Română, Romania’s national postal service operator, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to streamline logistics for Romanian businesses selling on Temu.

Under the agreement, Poșta Română will provide an integrated parcel service covering collection from sellers, sorting at logistics facilities in Romania, and last-mile delivery. Fulfillment options span home delivery, pickup points, automated lockers, and post offices across the country.

This partnership is expected to give local businesses a more streamlined process for order fulfillment, while enhancing the shopping experience for customers.

Temu and Poșta Română will hold joint events to support Romanian businesses that sell on Temu to grow their reach. The two companies will also meet regularly to review progress and continuously improve delivery services.

“Our network reaches communities across Romania, including in rural areas,” said Valentin Ștefan, CEO of Poșta Română. “This agreement will make our delivery and return services available to Romanian sellers on Temu, helping them serve customers throughout the country. We also welcome the opportunity to support local businesses that want to reach customers elsewhere in Europe.”

Temu entered the Romanian market in July 2023. Since March 2025, Romanian businesses have been able to join and sell on Temu. Temu’s Local Seller Program is now available in more than 35 countries.

“Four in five small businesses in Europe do not sell online, and the business organizations and industry associations we met pointed to the same barriers: complexity, cost and not knowing where to start,” said a Temu spokesperson. “Through the collaboration with Poșta Română, we aim to support more Romanian sellers with reliable logistics services and new growth opportunities at home and beyond.”

About Temu

Temu is a global e-commerce platform connecting consumers with millions of manufacturers, brands, and business partners. Operating in over 90 markets worldwide, Temu is committed to providing affordable, high-quality products that enable customers to live better lives.

About Poșta Română

With 164 years of history and a presence in communities across Romania, Poșta Română is a vital part of the country’s infrastructure — connecting people, businesses, and institutions across Romania and beyond.

As a trusted national logistics hub, it enables the movement of letters, parcels, money, and information, supporting faster flows across the country and international markets. Its modern network of regional hubs strengthens Romania’s role as a gateway for parcels and goods entering and leaving Central and Eastern Europe.

Rooted in tradition and driven by innovation, Poșta Română combines advanced sorting technologies with a nationwide network capable of processing more than 500,000 parcels a day. More than moving parcels, it is helping move Romania forward — connecting communities, markets, Europe, and the wider world.

Binance Introduces Agent OS to Connect AI Applications to Financial Infrastructure

New developer platform connects AI applications to Binance trading, market data, wallets, payments and on-chain tools across crypto

ABU DHABI, UAE, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Binance today introduced Agent OS, a developer platform and standardized access layer connecting AI applications to Binance’s trading, market data, wallet, payment and on-chain capabilities across crypto.

Built as part of Binance Intelligence, the largest cryptocurrency exchange’s strategic initiative for AI-powered products and experiences, Agent OS gives AI builders, fintech developers and quantitative trading teams a controlled foundation for creating applications and agents that interact with Binance’s financial infrastructure. The platform supports both ready-made integrations and users’ own AI agents.

Through supported AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, users can authorize agents to access market data, view account information and perform supported trading activities, subject to the permissions and limits they configure. Users can also assign each agent to a dedicated subaccount to segregate funds and trading activity.

“Binance Agent OS addresses the fragmentation developers face when building agentic finance applications across crypto and traditional markets,” said Jeff Li, VP of Product at Binance. “It gives everyone from developers to quantitative traders the reliable data, low–latency infrastructure, and standardized interfaces they need to deploy AI–driven strategies.”

A standardized developer layer

Agent OS brings together Binance APIs, Binance Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402 (programmable payments), Binance Skill Hub and newly introduced support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Together, these capabilities give developers the components they need to build connected financial applications and AI agents.

MCP is an open standard that enables compatible AI applications to connect to and use external tools. Its integration into Agent OS gives developers and partners a standardized way to connect their applications and agents to Binance, reducing the need to create separate integrations for each product or use case.

User-controlled access

User-controlled permissions determine the Binance data and trading capabilities available to an AI agent. Binance can monitor resulting trading activity, including orders, but not the agent’s broader workflow or reasoning, which runs within the user’s selected AI application.

Binance’s initial MCP implementation lets compatible AI applications access market data, view read-only account information and place trades. Through the MCP server, users can assign an agent to a dedicated subaccount, configure its permissions, and revoke access at any time.

Agents can view balances, portfolio information and transaction history of a designated subaccount, as well as balance and portfolio information for the user’s main account. They cannot access non-trading personal account information, including email address or KYC data.

Binance monitors and applies applicable controls to trading activity initiated through the platform, including the resulting orders. The agent’s external information sources, interpretation and decision-making are managed within the user’s selected AI application and are not visible to Binance.

Compatible clients that support MCP over Streamable HTTP can connect using:
