A 15-Year Odyssey: How yuj is Leading the Innovation in UX with Differentiated Experiences

Published

on

PUNE, India, Sept. 11, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — On September 9th, yuj celebrated a remarkable 15-year journey through the ever-evolving world of UX design. Over the years, yuj has navigated the challenges of the UX landscape, consistently striving for excellence with a clear focus on DIFFERENTIATION. This is the story of how yuj has become a leader in UX, delivering exceptional experiences and pushing boundaries in design innovation.

Setting Sail with a Vision: The Art of Saying ‘No’ (So You Can Say ‘Yes’ to What Really Matters)

Every great odyssey begins with setting sail, and for yuj, that moment was when the Founders Samir Chabukswar and Prasadd Bartakke embarked on their journey with a clear mission — to become a specialized company focused on creating ‘Differentiated User Experiences.’

“We didn’t want to be a company trying to do everything without a clear focus,” reflects Samir. “Instead, we wanted to define our own path and create a design process that was both unique and impactful.”

With this vision as their North Star, yuj began its voyage, focusing on creating differentiated UX solutions that stood out in a crowded marketplace. While many were content to drift along with generic offerings, yuj set out to navigate the complexities of specialized design, determined to make a meaningful impact.

Navigating by the Stars with 10x impact: With Specialization as the Compass

yuj didn’t become a trusted partner for Fortune 100 and 500 companies by accident. The secret weapon? Specialization. “It’s funny,” Samir notes, “People often think doing less means achieving less. But in reality, by focusing on what we do best, we’ve been able to deliver 10x value to our clients.”

From creating customer-centric applications for global automobile giants to designing strategic roadmaps that skyrocketed fin-tech companies’ revenue by 90%, yuj’s voyage has been marked by precision and expertise. Their work in industries like hi-tech, retail, healthcare, supply chain and more is a testament to their unwavering dedication to the art of UX.

“Our specialization has allowed us to dig deep and truly understand our clients’ challenges,” Samir explains. “That’s how we’ve been able to create designs that remove ambiguity, make users happy, while delivering tangible business results. We don’t just design for today; we design for tomorrow.”

The Treasure Map: Building a Legacy of Excellence

As with any great adventure, the journey is marked by discoveries and accomplishments. Over the past 15 years, yuj has amassed a treasure trove of achievements, including over 30 prestigious awards like the Red Dot Award, DNA Paris Awards, and Digital Design Awards Australia. These awards represent not just the milestones of a successful journey, but the impact yuj has had on its clients and their users.

“Each award is a marker on our treasure map,” says Prasadd, “But the real treasure lies in the lasting impact our designs have had. That’s what truly defines our legacy.”

The Horizon Ahead: Continuing the Journey

As yuj celebrates this significant milestone, the horizon is filled with new adventures and opportunities. “Our journey is far from over,” says Samir “We’re excited about the future and the new challenges that lie ahead. Our mission remains to explore uncharted territories and continue delivering innovative design solutions that make a difference.”

With AI becoming a dominant force in today’s technology landscape, there is an even greater need to focus on understanding human needs. “As AI continues to grow, it’s more important than ever to stay grounded in human-centered design,” Samir added. “AI can enhance our processes, but it can’t replace the empathy, creativity, and deep understanding that our team brings to each project.”

By embracing AI as a powerful wind in their sails—while never losing sight of the human needs—yuj is navigating the waters of opportunity, strategizing differentiated experiences that resonate deeply with users.

Join Us on This Odyssey: Celebrating 15 Years of yuj

As yuj celebrated 15 years of pioneering UX innovation, the company invites its clients, partners, and the wider design community to join in reflecting on this incredible journey. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are just embarking on your own voyage with us, we welcome you to explore the impact of our work and join us as we set sail toward new horizons. Let’s work together to create experiences that are not just different but differentiated!

LexisNexis Coplogic Solutions Introduces Field Clarity for LexisNexis® Desk Officer Reporting System (DORS) at IACP 2026

A new, modern DORS and Field Clarity, the First AI-Guided Smartphone Video Assistant, Enhances Community Experience and Helps Improve Evidence, Case Building

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — LexisNexis® Coplogic™ Solutions today announced its modernized LexisNexis® Desk Officer Reporting System (DORS) community online reporting solution and the addition of DORS with Field Clarity, an AI-guided video assistant designed to improve field documentation accuracy and enable faster resolution by law enforcement agencies (LEAs). Field Clarity is designed to help community members submit reports to their local LEAs using DORS via intuitive step-by-step instructions. A hands-on experience for DORS with Field Clarity will be available for demonstration during the 2026 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) annual conference.

“Agencies generally look to strategic partners like us not just for technology, but also for relief, reinforcement, and credibility across three tightly connected challenges: public expectation, workforce strain and digital evidence overload,” said Jason LaRue, associate vice president, LexisNexis Coplogic Solutions. “Our modernized LexisNexis Desk Officer Reporting System (DORS) helps agencies improve officer safety along with community member experiences. Field Clarity strengthens video evidence quality and digital evidence management to reduce friction and alleviate strain on a challenged workforce.”

Key Highlights
Integrated into LexisNexis® Desk Officer Reporting System (DORS), Field Clarity is the first AI-Guided video assistant for community member online reporting that:

Transforms data capture from passive intake into intelligent, guided capture to help create more positive officer and civilian mobile-first experiencesDrives more accurate field documentation, evidence and case building to help with faster resolution and enhanced public safetyBenefits civilians submitting reports with intuitive, step-by-step instructions, almost like having a digital assistant with them in real timeBenefits officers by bringing video, photos and scanned data together for a clearer picture of an event without the need to track down additional details

How the DORS with Field Clarity Solution Works
DORS allows each law enforcement agency to collect information directly from civilians on more than 200 incident types based on the needs of their community. DORS and Field Clarity make the filing of an online report experience easier by guiding users intuitively through each step of the process on their smartphone device, similar to having a personal digital assistant. Instead of asking a driver, for example, to fill out forms and guess what’s needed, the Field Clarity conversational interface prompts them to scan their driver’s license, capture a VIN or record a short walkaround video explaining what happened during the incident, all while capturing the data necessary to complete the report.

For civilians, being able to easily film on-scene evidence means less confusion and need for reentries or follow-up by the sworn officer responsible for approving reports. For officers, the benefits include cleaner, more complete accident reports and less time spent requesting and gathering additional details. With reports fed directly into the agency’s Record Management System (RMS), law enforcement also benefits from more efficient workflows and stronger documented cases for their investigators. DORS is used by nearly 600 agencies in North America, saving agencies approximately 900,000 personnel hours and $90 million annually*

“Trust in law enforcement is built one interaction at a time. Every opportunity for a community member to engage with their police department matters, including something as routine as filing a report,” said Sarah E. Connolly, co-founder of Guardian Communications, FBI-LEEDA instructor and retired Baltimore Police lieutenant and PIO. “When technology makes that process easier, improves the quality of information collected and supports a more responsive agency, it has the potential to do more than improve efficiency. It can help strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve.”

LexisNexis Coplogic Solutions delivers solutions and capabilities that can create a clearer line of sight from the field to law enforcement leadership, strengthening the connection between daily operations, workforce support, data management and community trust. DORS with Field Clarity is available through LexisNexis® Command Center, a single access point to the LexisNexis Coplogic Solutions data and analytics solutions suite, including LexisNexis®  BuyCrash®, LexisNexis® eCrash and LexisNexis® eCitation solutions. Coplogic Solutions also offers Unified Performance Dashboards for crash and citation mapping and illustrated visualizations, which connect field data with contextual insight in a single, coherent view – so law enforcement leaders can better understand and more confidently explain to their communities not just what is happening in near-real time, but also why.

To speak with Coplogic law enforcement experts about LexisNexis Desk Officer Reporting System (DORS) with Field Clarity and experience the solution firsthand, visit LexisNexis Coplogic Solutions at IACP Booth #941, October 24 – 27, 2026 in Orlando, Florida.
