Neptune joins this year’s TechConnect presented by ASUG as a Silver Sponsor

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov. 8, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Next week, rapid application development platform vendor Neptune Software will head to Florida to share its insights and knowledge at this year’s ASUG TechConnect event, taking place at the Palm Beach County Convention Center November 12-14.

In an era where digital transformation is no longer a choice but a necessity, businesses are under immense pressure to innovate rapidly and efficiently. However, the complexity and scalability of modern IT landscapes often pose significant challenges. Not every company has the expertise, time, or resources to develop customized applications that cater to specific business needs. A streamlined platform that facilitates the creation of custom applications with minimal coding and rapid delivery is essential. Low-code development offers a practical solution, enabling organizations to quickly build the applications they need.

“We’re excited to meet with SAP customers at TechConnect and demonstrate how Neptune can simplify their processes and unlock the full potential of SAP,” said Jeffrey Piszczek, VP of Sales, Americas at Neptune Software.

Neptune DXP simplifies both SAP and non-SAP environments, enabling rapid innovation and efficient operations. The platform supports cloud, on-premise, and hybrid deployment options, allowing businesses to choose the best infrastructure to meet their needs. By ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, Neptune enhances interoperability between different business processes, allowing for a unified IT environment on- or offline.

Neptune’s impact is evident in the success stories of its users. For instance, one American multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technologies corporation reduced high volume SAP Supply Chain processing time by 40% for over 130,000 end-users. In another case, a leading online retailer of products for children and babies in the Nordics saw an increase in inbound efficiency by 195% and a 97% reduction in training time after adopting Neptune.

The Neptune team will be located onsite at TechConnect to share how companies can bridge no-code, low-code and pro-code for maximum productivity and flexibility.

Music IP Holdings Launches “Click-Through” License Portal for AI Technology Companies

Published

on

By

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Music IP Holdings, Inc. (MIH) today launched a “Click-Through License Portal” that lets AI technology companies license its patented technologies online in minutes. MIH is a leading AI innovation licensing and technology development company setting the standard for authorized AI generation involving existing and new content.

The first-of-its-kind, custom-designed “Click-Through License Portal” allows MIH to quickly and efficiently provide cost-effective patent portfolio licenses to select companies so they can obtain the “freedom to operate” within and across AI markets. The new portal is designed for both technology and content companies that need to license the MIH AI derivatives workflow, Super Fan, Stems and other related patents in the portfolio: https://app.musiciprights.com/company-info

Today’s portal, offered to smaller companies through the MIH Strategic Innovation Partner (SIP) program, is separate from the licensing agreements with large content and technology companies that MIH began announcing in August.

“A great deal of work has gone into this process by our technology, legal and licensing teams. It represents a critical step in MIH’s evolution in 2026. We are laser-focused on protecting content owners and accelerating licenses for AI companies, all while enabling standards and value in the marketplace,” said Daniel Drolet, CEO of MIH.

MIH owns a patent portfolio built for the age of generative AI. The portfolio includes more than 28 patent families and more than 90 issued, allowed and pending assets that together claim the workflow by which AI generation services turn prompts of all types into finished outputs. That workflow runs from intake and interpretation of the request, through checks against rights holders’ content rules, generation, and post-generation review and marking, to controlled delivery under authorization and payment.

“Copyright asks whether something was copied; the MIH patents ask how it was made,” Drolet said. “The MIH portfolio covers those answers across all three major claim categories – methods, systems and software – so rights attach whether or not an output copies anything, and whether or not the output itself can be copyrighted.”

The MIH protections are directed to content in general rather than a single medium, and are being commercialized across music, voice, motion pictures, video, imagery, animation, publishing, and character and franchise IP, as well as name, image and likeness (NIL).

Dealer Spike launches Price Box to put one all-in price on every unit, at no added cost

Published

Price Box itemizes freight, setup, and fees beneath a single price on dealer websites as all-in pricing spreads from auto to the recreational and equipment markets.

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Dealer Spike today launched Price Box, a website feature that shows shoppers one all-in price on every unit, with freight, setup, and fees itemized underneath. Price Box is available now and included with Dealer Spike websites at no added cost.

All-in pricing is already moving through vehicle retail. In March, the Federal Trade Commission sent warning letters to 97 auto dealership groups, saying advertised prices must reflect the total price consumers will pay. Dealers in powersports, marine, trailer, agriculture, heavy truck, heavy equipment and outdoor power equipment are watching the same change reach their markets.

For many of those dealers, the obstacle is practical. OEM MSRPs typically leave out freight and setup, so dealers reconcile fees unit by unit. According to The State of the Dealer: 2026, 54.06% of dealer web traffic happens outside business hours, so shoppers often see that price without anyone there to explain it. Top-turning dealers show pricing on 83.30% of their units, suggesting that showing the price drives faster sales.

Price Box gives each dealer one configurable way to show the full number. Shoppers see a prominent all-in price on listing and detail pages, with base price, freight, setup, documentation fees, and dealer discounts itemized beneath it. Dealers control their fees, labels, and display. Price Box works with any DMS, mapping fees from native fields, such as those in Lightspeed DMS, or from custom fields a dealer has set up. Dealers without a DMS can set store-level defaults or enter fees per unit.

“The price is the price. Shoppers want to see it, and dealers want to show it,” said Nasi Jazayeri, CEO of Dealer Spike. “Dealers didn’t create the gap between MSRP and what a buyer pays, but they’re the ones explaining it. Price Box does that math on the website, based on how each store already prices, at no added cost. Our dealers asked for this, and they helped build it.”

Dealers ran Price Box on live websites ahead of launch, and their feedback shaped the version available today. Dealer Spike will keep adding to it with dealer input.

“When dealers show the whole price, customers get a cleaner, more honest buying experience, and they don’t feel blindsided when they walk in the door,” said Mark Sheffield, Dealer Spike Advisor, Woods Cycle Country. “Dealers stop defending a broken pricing structure and get back to selling. Tools like Price Box make it easier to show the full price on the website, where shoppers start. Trust goes up, and the conflict goes down.”

Key capabilities of Price Box include:

A prominent all-in price on vehicle listing and detail pages, with an itemized breakdown of fees and discountsFee categories, labels, and display that can be set by store or by unitWorks with any DMS, mapping fees from native or custom fields, plus a no-DMS option using store defaults or per-unit entryOptional MSRP or dealer retail reference pricing with savings displayOn/off control with a live preview before changes go publicIncluded with Dealer Spike websites at no additional cost

Price Box is designed to support pricing transparency and OEM advertising requirements. Dealers remain responsible for their own compliance decisions.
