HONG KONG, Dec. 13, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Today, Keychron, a leading manufacturer of peripherals compatible with Mac, Windows, and Android, launched direct sales of the Keychron K2 HE Wireless Magnetic Custom Keyboard. This high-performance mechanical keyboard combines the best of traditional mechanical technology with the advanced benefits of magnetic switches in a minimalistic design accented by natural rosewood. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised over $1M USD, the K2 HE is now available for direct purchase on Keychron’s website, starting at $130 USD.

Ahead of CES 2025, a leading technology event happening January 7-10 in Las Vegas, Keychron K2 HE has been named a CES Innovation Awards® 2025 Honoree  within “Computer Peripherals & Accessories.” The annual competition honors outstanding design and engineering in 33 consumer technology product categories. This fully customizable 75% layout wireless keyboard represents a breakthrough in switch technology, replacing physical contacts with magnetic sensors that measure actuation depth, giving users total control over the response of each and every switch. Designed with Gateron double-rail magnetic switches, adjustable actuation points, and rapid trigger technology, the K2 HE is an adaptable tool for gaming, programming, and everyday typing.

“The K2 HE represents Keychron’s dedication to bringing sophisticated, user-centered technology to the keyboard community,” said Paul Tan, COO of Keychron. “We wanted to elevate the popular K2 model, and the K2 HE’s magnetic switch design, complete with customizable actuation and dynamic rapid triggers, achieves exactly that.”

With multiple connectivity options, including 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and wired modes, the K2 HE provides versatile functionality across macOS, Windows, and Linux platforms. This keyboard is built to last, featuring a durable aluminum frame with natural rosewood accents—light wood for the white Special Edition and dark wood for the black Special Edition—bringing a touch of nature-inspired elegance to the design. Both colorways feature OSA profile double-shot PBT keycaps, delivering a satisfying tactile feel and timeless style.

For those seeking an even more personalized touch, Keychron offers customizable wood siding in light and dark finishes, allowing users to engrave a design or text of their choice. “Our goal was to create a keyboard that offers precision and flexibility, allowing users to adapt each keystroke to their preferences,” continued Tan.

The K2 HE also includes Keychron’s exclusive Launcher web configurator, enabling users to adjust settings like RGB backlighting, sensitivity, and multi-action key commands for a tailored experience. With 22 RGB backlight settings and fine-tunable options, users can create a setup that reflects both their style and functional needs.

During Gateway Gulf 2026: Beyon Announces Expansion of Green Data Centre Portfolio to Three Centres as Solar Investment Accelerates

–  Latest phase will deliver 2.5 GWh of clean energy annually and reduce CO₂ emissions by more than 1,585 tonnes each year

MANAMA, Bahrain, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Beyon has announced the expansion of its green data centre portfolio, with a third data centre set to become fully powered by renewable energy following the completion of Phase 5 of the Beyon Solar Park programme. Announced during Gateway Gulf 2026 in the presence of H.E. Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of Beyon Group, the milestone represents the latest advancement in Beyon’s long-term investment in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy.

Developed in partnership with Almoayyed Solar, Phase 5 represents an investment of approximately BD544,500 and will extend across 14,000 square meters, incorporating 2,292 solar panels. The installation has a total capacity of 1.5 MWp. Once completed in the coming months, the installation is expected to generate approximately 2.5 GWh of clean energy annually and reduce carbon emissions by more than 1,585 tonnes of CO₂ each year.

The completion of Phase 5 will bring the number of Beyon green data centres powered by renewable energy to three, further strengthening the Group’s sustainable digital infrastructure. As demand for data, cloud and digital services continues to grow, this expansion supports Beyon’s ambition to develop resilient, high-performance infrastructure while progressively reducing the environmental impact associated with its operations.

The Solar programme has also continued to expand beyond Beyon’s Data centres. During 2026, Beyon successfully completed Phase 4, extending renewable energy adoption to Total CX’s Customer Contact Centre, making it the first green contact centre in Bahrain.

The latest development builds on the milestone announced at Gateway Gulf 2025, when Phase 3 of the Solar Park enabled Beyon’s Tier III Certified Data Center in Hamala to operate entirely on renewable energy. The continued investment reflects a multi-year programme to increase the contribution of clean energy across Beyon’s infrastructure and support customers pursuing their own sustainability and ESG objectives.

Beyon Group CEO Andrew Kvaalseth said, “Data centres are increasingly fundamental to the digital economy, and we believe their continued expansion should go hand in hand with a more sustainable approach to powering critical infrastructure. Reaching three green data centres represents an important milestone in that journey and reflects the scale and consistency of our investment in renewable energy. As we continue to grow our digital infrastructure, sustainability and resilience will remain integral to how we invest for the future.”

Almoayyed International Group Chairman Mohammed Almoayyed said, “Our partnership with Beyon continues to demonstrate the potential of long-term collaboration to deliver renewable energy infrastructure at meaningful scale. The successive phases of the Solar Park programme reflect a clear and sustained commitment to clean energy, and we are pleased to support Beyon as it continues to expand the programme across its critical infrastructure.”

Beyon and Almoayyed Solar’s collaboration forms part of a long-term programme to expand the use of renewable energy across the group’s infrastructure. The continued expansion reinforces Beyon’s commitment to integrating renewable energy into its infrastructure and contributing to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s sustainability and carbon-reduction ambitions.

Outlook

The Company continues to benefit from favourable long-term fundamentals and structural expansion across its key end markets in Specialty Semiconductors and from the resilience of its Performance Materials segment.

As the geopolitical and economic backdrop continues to evolve, the Company expects to continue operating in a complex environment with rising cost pressures across its businesses and normalizing margin conditions in Performance Materials. To help mitigate cost pressures and improve operational efficiency, the Company remains focused on disciplined execution of its productivity initiatives and capacity expansion plans to achieve economies of scale.

Based on its strong nine-month performance and anticipated and contracted demand through the end of year, the Company is reaffirming its full-year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA guidance of between $100 million and $105 million, and expects to achieve the high end of its guidance.

Supported by its competitive market positioning and expertise, including its Western manufacturing base and focus on value-added products, strong customer relationships and commercial discipline, 5N+ is well positioned to continue executing its long-term growth strategy as a critical supplier to critical industries.

Non‐IFRS Measures

Backlog represents the expected orders the Company has received, but has not yet executed, and that are expected to translate into sales within the next twelve months, expressed in dollars and estimated in number of days not to exceed 365 days. Bookings represent orders received during the period considered, expressed in number of days, and calculated by adding revenue to the increase or decrease in backlog for the period considered, divided by annualized year revenue. 5N+ uses backlog to provide an indication of expected future revenue in days, and bookings to determine its ability to sustain and increase its revenue.

EBITDA means net earnings (loss) before interest expenses, income tax expense (recovery), depreciation and amortization. 5N+ uses EBITDA because it believes it is a meaningful measure of the operating performance of its ongoing business, without the effects of certain expenses.
