Published

on

DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The International Society of Automation (ISA) — the leading professional society for automation — has announced the full program for its third annual OT Cybersecurity Summit in Brussels on 18-21 June 2025.

The Summit will draw hundreds of experts in operational technology (OT) cybersecurity at the management level or higher in the energy, manufacturing, water/wastewater, government policy, oil and gas and transportation industries. This two-track, four-day event will be organized around two major topics: threat intelligence and securing the supply chain, with additional panel discussions on utilizing standards and conformity assessments to meet new regulatory needs.

Keynote addresses will include:

Lauren Neal, Project Manager, BP, UKJohn Fitzpatrick, Founder, Lab539

Joining event keynotes are upward of 20 speakers with sessions on protecting national infrastructure during the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup, turning programmable logic controllers (PLCs) into honeypots with software-defined networking (SDN), smart shipping with continuous reef monitoring using internet of things (IoT) devices, how to use ISA standards to comply with the European Union’s Network and Information Systems Directive 2 (NIS2) and the European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) regulations, new threats in the supply chain with an erratic political climate and more.

With this conference, ISA is leading the charge to demonstrate how consensus standards and conformity assessment can meet the critical needs arising from current events and new regulation. ISA sets many of the technical standards used in industrial automation, including ISA/IEC 62443, the world’s only consensus-based automation and control systems cybersecurity standards. In addition to developing and maintaining these standards, ISA offers training and credentialing on cybersecurity; certifies products, processes and systems through its ISASecure® certification; and raises awareness about the importance of OT cybersecurity through its membership consortium, the ISA Global Cybersecurity Alliance (ISAGCA).

“The ISA community includes many of the world’s leading experts on industrial cybersecurity, and we are proud to have developed ISA/IEC 62443, the standards backing the most secure operational technologies,” said Claire Fallon, CEO and executive director of ISA. “The ISA OT Cybersecurity Summit sets itself apart from other cybersecurity events as an opportunity for attendees to gain practical insights about ISA/IEC 62443 and best practices for its implementation.”

Attendees of the 2024 event shared positive feedback about their experience:

“Some of the other events focus a little bit more on the IT side of [cybersecurity]. This one does focus more on controls engineers, so I think you really get the best opportunity to share between the groups and get information.””There are always great topics to discuss and debate together in an open environment.””Everyone’s here to learn from each other and work together, and the event doesn’t end when the event ends. [You can] stay in touch and continue to work throughout the year to help solve some of the big problems around cybersecurity.”

In addition to a robust technical program, the 2025 OT Cybersecurity Summit will offer multiple additional workshops, special events and industry-leading training opportunities for attendees:

Cyber escape room: You won’t want to miss our highly immersive, custom-created OT cyber escape room utilizing VR technology provided by VisCo. Can you succeed in removing the threat before time runs out?Training: Using the ISA/IEC 62443 Standards to Secure Your Control Systems (IC32)Training: Assessing the Cybersecurity of New Existing IACS Systems (IC33)Incident Command Systems for Industrial Control Systems (ICS4ICS) workshop: A tutorial for ICS4ICS, which combines OT/ICS, incident command and cybersecurity work into one framework to improve cyber incident response capabilities at companies and organizations. ICS4ICS leverages external resources including FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Admin) Incident Command System, DHS (Department of Homeland Security) CISA cyber incident response materials and the NIST (National Institute for Science and Technology) Computer Incident Response Guide, providing templates, guides and exercise materials.

Registration for the 2025 OT Cybersecurity Summit in Brussels is now open and starts at 762 EUR for ISA members. To register for the event or to learn more about the program and sponsorship opportunities, visit otcs.isa.org.

New tender offer capabilities connect equity management with real-time valuation data covering approximately 65,000 private companies with a combined estimated value of $9 trillion, laying the groundwork for future secondary marketplace capabilities.

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Eqvista, a leading equity management and valuation platform serving more than 25,000 companies, today announced the launch of company-sponsored tender offer capabilities, enabling private companies to organize structured liquidity events directly within their equity management platform. The launch also marks a step toward Eqvista’s planned secondary marketplace capabilities.

As companies stay private longer, employees and early investors face limited opportunities to sell their shares. Meanwhile, organizing liquidity events involves complex decisions around pricing, participant eligibility, approvals, and ownership changes.

Eqvista brings these processes together through a company-controlled tender offer workflow, supported by its equity management infrastructure and Eqvista Real-Time Company Valuation® technology.

“With Eqvista, private companies can help their employees and early investors turn their shares into cash, rewarding them for their contributions to the company,” said Tomas Milar, Founder and CEO of Eqvista. “We already help companies manage ownership and understand their value. Bringing tender offers into the same platform is a natural next step toward connecting equity management, valuation, and liquidity.”

Company-Controlled Tender Offers

Eqvista’s new capabilities allow companies to manage tender offers while maintaining control over participation, transaction terms, and ownership changes.

Key features include:

Cap table integration: Automatically record completed ownership changes.Participant controls: Define eligible buyers and sellers and offer windows.Allocation rules: Set transaction limits, pro rata allocations, and priorities.Integrated approvals: Manage approval requirements and rights of first refusal.Valuation-informed pricing: Reference Eqvista Real-Time Company Valuation® data when evaluating transaction pricing.

By integrating these processes, Eqvista aims to reduce the administrative complexity of organizing liquidity events while helping companies maintain control over their shareholder base.

Building Toward a Secondary Marketplace

Building on its company-sponsored tender offer capabilities, Eqvista plans to expand into secondary marketplace infrastructure designed to support structured, company-approved liquidity programs. By connecting ownership records, real-time valuation data, and private share transactions within one platform, Eqvista aims to make private market liquidity more accessible while allowing companies to maintain control over participation and ownership changes. Further details will be announced as development progresses, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
