Leveraging NVIDIA’s Latest GPU Architecture to Accelerate Innovations in Ultra-Low-Dose Imaging and Enhanced Lesion Visualization

MENLO PARK, Calif., March 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Medical imaging today faces several critical challenges. Imaging modalities like MRI, PET, and CT are used in over five hundred million patients annually for diagnosis and treatment, involving long scan times and/or potentially high radiation and contrast dosage. This not only compromises the patient experience, causing delays of care, but also burdens healthcare facilities with high operational costs.

Furthermore, variability in image quality—especially in lesion visualization—can lead to diagnostic inconsistencies and hinder effective treatment planning. These issues around radiology data acquisition, which account for ~80% of imaging cost, are particularly acute when resources are constrained and where access to high-quality imaging remains limited.

Subtle Medical, the vertical leader in AI-powered imaging, has developed state-of-the-art GenAI solutions designed to overcome traditional imaging limitations:

Ultra-Low-Dose Imaging: Subtle’s advanced algorithms enable up to a 75% reduction in radiation dose without compromising quality, making scans safer for patients.Enhanced Lesion Visualization: Virtual augmentation techniques significantly improve the clarity and delineation of lesions, thereby boosting diagnostic confidence and precision.State-of-the-Art Image Reconstruction: By standardizing and enhancing imaging data, Subtle’s AI models deliver consistent, high-quality images that form the backbone of effective clinical decision-making.Unprecedented Speed: With up to 5x faster scans, imaging institutions can reduce patient wait times, increase scanner throughput, and improve overall imaging efficiency with existing resources.

Through strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Bayer, Bracco, Siemens, and Telix, along with 9 of their own FDA clearances, Subtle Medical continues to redefine the future of medical imaging—delivering safer, faster, and smarter imaging that transforms patient care around the world.

Driving cutting-edge AI innovation with NVIDIA:

Subtle Medical’s integration of NVIDIA technology has been instrumental in advancing AI-driven medical imaging and enhancing efficiency in model training, deployment, and clinical impact. As one of the first NVIDIA Inception Startups and a winner of the NVIDIA Inception AI Award in 2018, Subtle Medical has pioneered the adoption of NVIDIA DGX systems, NVIDIA TensorRT/Triton, and NVIDIA accelerated computing to optimize imaging solutions.

Key Highlights:

Early Innovation & Recognition – Subtle Medical was one of the first NVIDIA Inception Startups and an early adopter of NVIDIA DGX, NVIDIA V100 Tensor Core GPUs, and TensorRT/Triton in medical imaging.Accelerated AI Development – NVIDIA’s cutting-edge GPU technology significantly improves training and deployment efficiency for AI-powered imaging solutions.Award-Winning AI Innovation – Subtle Medical was awarded one NVIDIA H100 GPU server after winning the Stanford-HealthUnity GenAI in Healthcare competition, sponsored by NVIDIA and SuperMicro, enabling further advancements in AI model training.Industry-Leading Benchmarking Next-Gen Performance – Systematic testing on tasks such as virtual contrast dose synthesis for oncology imaging and pre-contrast T1 MRI optimization demonstrates up to 6x faster AI training and 4.4x faster inference speeds. Integrating H100 servers enhances training speed and deployment, strengthening Subtle Medical’s competitive edge.

The integration of NVIDIA Hopper GPUs with Subtle Medical’s GenAI solutions addresses the critical challenges of high radiation doses, long scan times, and inconsistent image quality. This powerful synergy enables significant acceleration of the development and delivery of AI solutions.

“The combined power of our GenAI solutions and NVIDIA’s GPU architecture is already making a real impact in clinical practice,” said Enhao Gong, PhD, Co-Founder and CEO at Subtle Medical. “Faster and safer imaging means quicker diagnoses and enhanced patient care, while reduced radiation exposure minimizes risk—especially for pediatric and elderly patients who struggle with long scan times.”

“By leveraging NVIDIA state-of-the-art hardware and software, including Triton/TensorRT, Subtle Medical continues to set new standards in AI-powered imaging, ensuring superior efficiency, speed, and diagnostic precision across healthcare,” said Ajit Shankaranarayanan, PhD, Chief Product Officer at Subtle Medical.

OpenAI Academy courses will now be available through Go1, helping HR and L&D teams bring trusted, relevant AI learning to more employees through their existing learning systems.

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Go1, a global learning and compliance solution that makes workforce learning relevant and measurable, today announced a partnership with OpenAI to help organizations build AI capability at scale. Practical, hands-on courses from OpenAI Academy will be available through Go1’s learning ecosystem, supporting employees and leaders in applying AI to their work.

The partnership builds on Go1’s role as a learning, data and intelligence layer for major HR systems, extending OpenAI Academy courses through the infrastructure employers already use. For HR and L&D teams, it brings trusted AI learning into their existing workforce strategy, making it easier to deliver relevant learning across the organization and understand participation and progress.

“AI adoption is moving quickly, but workforce capability isn’t always keeping pace,” said Chris Eigeland, CEO of Go1. “Organizations need a way to give every employee – not just technical teams—the knowledge and confidence to use AI effectively in their role. Bringing OpenAI Academy learning into Go1 helps HR and L&D leaders turn AI learning into a coordinated, measurable workforce strategy.”

Building AI capability across the workforce

Organizations are investing in AI technology, but many still lack a consistent approach to preparing their people to use it. Learning is often fragmented across providers and platforms, making it difficult for HR and L&D teams to reach different audiences, measure participation, or understand where capability gaps exist.

OpenAI Academy provides practical AI learning for a range of roles, including knowledge workers, leaders, developers, educators and students. The courses help people apply AI to everyday work, build and evaluate AI-powered products, lead AI adoption, and use AI to support teaching and learning.

Combining foundational knowledge with real-world examples and hands-on application, the courses help people build the skills and confidence to use AI more effectively in their work.

Through Go1, organizations will be able to incorporate OpenAI Academy courses into a broader workforce learning strategy. Employees can access relevant AI learning through familiar systems, while HR and L&D teams gain a clearer view of engagement, learner sentiment, and emerging skill needs.

“We built OpenAI Academy courses by bringing together expertise from our research, product, safety and deployment teams with what we’ve learned helping organizations put AI to work,” said Lois Newman, Customer Education, OpenAI. “Through practice on real tasks and learning tailored to different roles, the courses help people use AI effectively in their day-to-day work and give organizations a shared foundation for adoption across their workforce.”

From AI learning to workforce readiness

By bringing OpenAI Academy courses into the Go1 ecosystem, organizations can create a shared foundation of AI understanding while supporting the different needs of employees, leaders and technical teams.

“HR and L&D leaders are being asked to prepare the entire workforce for a new way of working,” Eigeland said. “This partnership gives them a practical way to expand access to trusted AI learning, meet people at their level and measure progress over time.”

OpenAI Academy courses will be available through Go1 starting today. To learn more, visit go1.com/openai-academy.
