Seeing Machines Announces 3D Camera Technology for Next-Generation In-Cabin Monitoring Systems

Published

Seeing Machines and Airy3D partner to supply the Automotive industry with low-impact, trustworthy 3D-vision for future in-cabin systems.

CANBERRA, Australia, April 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Seeing Machines, the advanced computer vision technology company that designs AI-powered operator monitoring systems to improve transport safety, launches a new type of 3D camera technology designed specifically for in-cabin monitoring.

Building on a four-year partnership with Airy3D Inc., a Montreal based 3D technology company, Seeing Machines and Airy3D have worked to refine Airy3D’s DepthIQTM technology to meet the unique demands of automotive in-cabin monitoring.

The new camera delivers not only 3D range data, but also 5MP RGB color and infrared 2D images that have identical image characteristics to those required by today’s in-cabin systems. This means the technology is fully compatible with the latest 2D in-cabin software and supports precision eye-tracking across the full cabin field-of-view. It also means that for the first time, 5MP RBGIR 2D and 3D sensing can be supported by a single camera module, with a single sensor and lens.

Timothy Edwards, Co-Founder of Seeing Machines remarked: “The potential of 3D sensing to improve in-cabin monitoring systems has been recognised for many years, but high costs have restricted adoption of 3D to just premium vehicles. However, due to planned improvements to safety standards which will protect occupants under a wider range of accident scenarios, 3D sensing is anticipated to become a de facto requirement for in-cabin monitoring systems. Seeing Machines has explored several cost-effective 3D sensing technologies in preparation for this transition. Airy3D’s solution, utilising a diffractive optical element as a thin plastic coating on top of an existing 2D image sensor, offers a uniquely low-cost, low-friction pathway for automakers to achieve future safety regulations while capitalising on the many advantages of 3D vision.”

Chris Barrett, CEO of Airy3D added: “In looking to penetrate the automotive market, we sought a partner with not only a great channel to market, but who was also well placed to understand the total set of requirements (not just at the sensor level) but the optical stack, computing and software feature level. Seeing Machines’ long-term view and systems approach put them at the top of our list.”

Paul McGlone, CEO of Seeing Machines concluded: “We are very pleased with the steady progress of Airy3D to adapt their unique technology to meet the rigorous requirements of in-cabin systems, and we are excited to be able to offer this technology exclusively to our automotive partners. The promise of cabin-monitoring is more intelligent and safer vehicles, but there is clearly a gap to bridge before vision-based cabin-monitoring systems are considered dependable enough to become fully integrated with passive safety technologies such as airbags and seatbelt restraints. Airy3D’s depth sensing technology offers Seeing Machines a smooth transition to a future where vision-sensors are trusted to become the primary source of in-cabin information.”

MIND Brings Stress Free DLP to Claude With New Compliance API Integration

Security teams can now apply the DLP policies they already run in MIND to their organization’s Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform activity

SEATTLE, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — MIND®, the AI-native data loss prevention (DLP) platform, today announced its integration with Claude’s Compliance API. The integration connects MIND to Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform, giving security teams a clear view of the sensitive data moving through Claude and a way to respond to it using the policies and workflows they already rely on. MIND is one of the security integrations included in today’s Compliance API announcement.

Claude has quickly become part of how work gets done. Employees upload spreadsheets and ask it to work through internal documents, which is exactly where its value comes from. Security leaders see that value, and they also want a confident answer about what sensitive data is reaching Claude. Most can’t get that answer from their current DLP stack, because Claude activity sits outside the channels those tools were built to watch.

Through the Compliance API, MIND brings Claude activity into the MIND platform. For Claude Enterprise customers, that includes conversation content such as chats, uploaded files and projects, along with activity logs and the organization’s user directory. For Claude Platform customers, MIND ingests activity logs. MIND’s multi-layer AI classification engine reads the content and context of that data, recognizing sensitive information like customer records, payroll reports and source code. It then surfaces the activity that carries real risk, rather than every event that happens to match a rule.

Security teams don’t need to stand up a separate program for Claude. The policies they already use to protect sensitive data in SaaS apps, on-premise file shares, email and on endpoints now extend to Claude activity, and findings arrive in the same MIND workflow their analysts use every day. Setup is simple. An administrator enables the Compliance API, creates a scoped API key and connects it to MIND. The integration is available to MIND customers at no additional cost.

In addition to the Compliance API integration, MIND also protects sensitive data before it’s shared with Claude. Using its lightweight endpoint agent and browser extension, MIND applies the organization’s sharing policies in real time when someone tries to paste or upload sensitive data into Claude. Depending on the risk, MIND can block the action, add a speed bump that asks the user to justify it or simply coach them on the policy. Controls follow data and the security team sets policies, so employees can keep using Claude for their work while sensitive information stays where it belongs.

“The security leaders we talk to want to say yes to Claude. What holds many of them back is not knowing what sensitive data their people are sharing with it,” said Eran Barak, Co-Founder and CEO of MIND. “This integration answers that question inside the DLP platform they already run, using the policies they’ve already set. When security is confident in their sensitive data security, the business can rapidly move forward with AI.”

“Claude conversations are some of the richest and least structured data an organization produces,” said Hod Bin Noon, Co-Founder and VP of R&D at MIND. “A pattern-matching rule can’t tell whether a pasted table came from a board deck or a public price list. Our classification engine looks at content and context together, so when an alert comes from Claude activity, the team knows it’s worth their time.”

The integration adds Claude to the environments MIND already covers, including GenAI, Agentic AI, SaaS, endpoint, on-premise file shares and email. MIND discovers, detects and prevents across data at rest and in motion from one platform, and its AI DLP Agents handle much of the day-to-day work of running a DLP program, from building custom classifiers to investigating issues. Customers have seen up to 80% less DLP program effort and near-zero false positives.

MIND was the first data security company accepted into Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program and the first to achieve ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for responsible AI, the international standard for how organizations develop and use AI.

MIND’s integration with Claude’s Compliance API is available now for Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform customers. To see it in your own environment, book a demo at www.mind.io.

Security teams can now investigate AI agent activity, including prompts, responses and tool calls, alongside the rest of their security telemetry

DALLAS, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — TrendAI™, the global leader in AI security and business unit from Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), today expanded support for Claude’s Compliance API in TrendAI Vision One™. The integration now covers Claude Code and Cowork session transcripts from Claude Enterprise. It builds on the integration TrendAI™ announced with Anthropic in June 2026, adding visibility into how engineering and knowledge-work teams use AI agents day to day.

AI agents now write code, call tools and reach into business systems on behalf of employees. Security teams usually know these agents are running, but not what they were asked to do, what they did or whether it followed policy.

Claude’s Compliance API returns session records for Claude Code and Cowork, including prompts, responses and tool calls, each tied to a verified user. With today’s expanded integration, TrendAI brings these records into TrendAI Vision One™, where security teams can investigate AI activity in context, correlate it with endpoint, identity, cloud and network signals, and build custom detections for the agent behavior that matters to them.

“We understand security teams need transparency to validate AI agent activity against company policy and integrate that intelligence with their existing endpoint, identity, network and cloud signals,” said Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer, Head of TrendAI™. “Coding and knowledge-work agents are now doing real work inside the business, and security teams should be able to see and investigate that work the same way they do everything else. This is about making informed decisions and maintaining control as these tools scale. Organizations can now move faster with AI while keeping proper oversight in place.

What security teams can do:

Flag agent tool calls outside expected boundariesTie AI session activity to specific users during investigationsCheck whether agent workflows follow required processesCorrelate AI activity with other security events instead of treating it as a separate siloKeep an auditable record of AI session activity for compliance review

TrendAI Vision One™ also continues to ingest activity logs from Claude Enterprise, covering user logins, admin actions and configuration changes, and from Claude Platform, covering admin, system and resource events. Claude’s Compliance API integration in TrendAI Vision One™ is available now for TrendAI Vision One™ customers using Claude Enterprise.
