SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Plug and Play, the ultimate innovation platform based in Silicon Valley, has made its first direct investments in Albanian startups, backing six companies and signaling growing international confidence in the country’s emerging tech ecosystem.

The six startups are Synaps, Insect Intel, Bliss, Infinitcode.ai, NEKOD, and kidsday, all part of Batch 1 of Plug and Play Albania. The founders also completed a six-week GOAL program in Silicon Valley, gaining direct exposure to global investors, mentors, and the world’s leading innovation hub.

“Our first investments in Albania mark the beginning of a long-term commitment to the region,” said Seena Amidi, Managing Partner, EMEA at Plug and Play. “We’re seeing a growing ecosystem that is increasingly connected to global networks, with founders capable of building beyond borders.”

Participation in the Silicon Valley program has already translated into tangible results for startups, from faster product validation to stronger access to investors and clearer growth strategies.

“Through the Plug and Play program and investment, we validated and launched our beta, secured global investors, and grew our team fourfold,” said Brendon Ahmeti, Founder of Synaps. “Since November, we’ve reached over 50,000 users.”

The Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF) has played a key role in enabling this initiative, supporting the program in collaboration with IN Groupe, Piramida Tirana, Municipality of Tirana, and Innovation Hub. These partners contributed to program delivery and supported connections between local startups and international stakeholders.

“These investments are a clear indicator that the ecosystem is entering a more mature phase,” said Sokol Ymeri, Program Director at AADF. “Through our partnership with Plug and Play and AADF’s support, we have aimed to build concrete bridges between Albanian startups and global innovation networks. Direct investments in local companies today demonstrate a clear shift: from supporting potential to creating real opportunities for growth and expansion into new markets.”

The six investments represent an early step in Plug and Play’s activity in Albania. The company is currently running Batch 2 of the accelerator program and continues to evaluate additional investment opportunities in the market.

“This moment signals a real shift for Albania’s startup ecosystem,” said Uranik Begu, Director for the CEE Region at Plug and Play. “With six investments already made, we are no longer talking about potential. We are seeing real backing for Albanian founders building globally competitive companies.”

Truck Service Expert Jonas Martin Highlights Why Certified Mechanics Matter More Than Most Drivers Realize in HelloNation

The article explains how ASE certification supports accurate diagnosis, mechanic transparency, and safer, more reliable vehicle service.

CAVE CITY, Ark., Aug. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — How much does certification really matter when choosing an auto repair professional? That question is explored in a HelloNation article featuring insights from Truck Service Expert Jonas Martin of Martins Truck and Auto Service in Cave City, Arkansas.

The article explains that many drivers trust a shop without ever asking if their mechanic is certified. Yet certified mechanics follow national industry standards and undergo regular testing to stay current with modern vehicles. For drivers in northern Arkansas, where reliable transportation is a necessity, working with certified mechanics helps ensure safety, accurate diagnosis, and long-term value.

According to the article, ASE certification is one of the most recognized credentials in the field. Mechanics who hold this certification have passed exams in areas like engine repair, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. To keep their status, they must retest regularly as vehicles evolve. This process ensures that certified mechanics are not only experienced, but also up to date with current tools, techniques, and repair procedures.

One of the most noticeable benefits, the article explains, is how certified mechanics approach diagnosis. Rather than relying on trial and error, they use structured diagnostic steps and proper tools to identify the cause of a warning light or performance issue. This method saves time, reduces guesswork, and avoids unnecessary parts replacement. The result is a more accurate diagnosis and a repair that is more likely to be done right the first time.

The article notes that accuracy matters more than ever as vehicles become increasingly complex. Today’s vehicles may require sensor calibration, electrical testing, or computer programming. Certified mechanics are trained to work on these systems using manufacturer standards. This reduces the risk of errors that can lead to expensive or unsafe outcomes.

The article reinforces that shops employing certified mechanics are often better equipped and more professional overall. These businesses typically invest in ongoing education and the right tools, which support better repair outcomes and clearer estimates. Drivers benefit from a smoother experience and are more likely to have repairs accepted by service plans or manufacturers due to proper documentation.

The HelloNation article also emphasizes mechanical transparency as a key value that comes with certification. Certified mechanics are not only trained in technical skills but also in customer communication. They are more likely to explain repairs clearly, answer questions respectfully, and help drivers make informed decisions. This transparency leads to greater trust and fewer billing surprises.

In rural regions like northern Arkansas, where drivers depend heavily on their vehicles and word-of-mouth recommendations carry weight, certification helps a shop stand out. The article notes that it is not just about reputation, but proven ability. Drivers who choose certified mechanics are more likely to receive service that meets factory standards and follows correct repair procedures.

While no credential guarantees perfection, certification sets a higher bar for performance, professionalism, and accountability. The article concludes that choosing certified mechanics is a practical way for drivers to protect their investment, avoid unnecessary repairs, and build trust with their service provider.

Why Certified Mechanics Matter More Than Most Drivers Realize features insights from Jonas Martin, Truck Service Expert of Cave City, Arkansas, in HelloNation.

Brillio Recognized with Two Gold Brandon Hall Group™ HCM Excellence Awards® for AI Native Talent Development

Published

A persona-based AI capability program spanning more than 5,500 employees in six countries earned Brillio Gold in two Brandon Hall categories — Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program, and Best Learning Program Supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy.

DALLAS, Aug. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Brillio, The Enterprise AI Accelerator, today announced it has won two Gold Brandon Hall Group™ HCM Excellence Awards®. Brillio received Gold in the Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program category and Gold in the Best Learning Program Supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy category, both for its AI Native Talent Development program. The HCM Excellence Awards® recognize organizations that develop and deploy programs, strategies, technologies, and solutions that deliver measurable business results and advance excellence in Human Capital Management. The recognition provides further validation of Brillio’s Enterprise AI Accelerator strategy: scaling AI requires organizations to transform not only their technology and data foundations, but also the capabilities of the people who build, deploy, and operate AI-enabled businesses.

“This recognition reflects our team’s commitment to building real, applied AI capability across every role,” said Sridhar Krishnamurthy, Chief Human Resources Officer, Brillio. “Scaling AI requires more than technology. It requires people who understand how to apply AI to the way the business actually works. Through our AI Native Talent Development program, we’ve equipped our people to apply AI in the context of enterprise operations, use intelligent agents across the value chain, and continuously improve outcomes through learning and adaptation. We are honored to be recognized by Brandon Hall Group™, and proud of everyone across Brillio who helped turn that ambition into measurable results.”

Built for applied capability, not course completion

Brillio designed the AI Native Talent Development program to close a gap that conventional upskilling approaches leave unaddressed. Where many organizations treat AI readiness as a matter of assigning courses and tracking completion, the program was built to move an entire enterprise workforce from AI awareness to applied, role specific capability. That capability is a critical part of Brillio’s broader approach to full-stack Enterprise AI execution, alongside modern data foundations, AI platforms, proprietary accelerators, and industry-specific solutions.

In early 2025, Brillio designated AI workforce readiness as a top organizational priority. Rather than deploying an off-the-shelf learning catalog, the company built a role by role, function-by-function capability architecture that treats AI readiness as an operational standard rather than a training outcome.

Capability system built around 40 personas

The program is organized around 40 role specific personas spanning technical, delivery, sales and leadership, and business functions. Each persona was defined by the capability a role needs in an AI-native enterprise and delivery environment and the gap between current and required proficiency.

Every persona followed a learning journey structured across three stages: conceptual learning, hands on practice in pre-configured AI Virtual Machine environments, and validated assessment. It was delivered through a best of breed technology stack, with change management embedded as a core design principle rather than a separate communication effort.

Delivered at enterprise scale

Brillio delivered the program across approximately 5,500 employees in six countries: India, the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Romania. A wave-based rollout allowed the program to improve with each phase, and HR Business Partners drove adoption across regions to keep the experience globally consistent and locally relevant.

Measurable outcomes

Initial results that validated the model include:

Close to 5,500 learners engaged in Wave 1, with an overall engagement rate of approximately 90 percent across 40 personas and six countries.A measurable AI capability baseline was established across both technical and nontechnical roles for the first time, with average AI Native Scores approaching the organizational aspiration of 90 percent.

The model is also beginning to extend beyond Brillio. A global financial services institution has approached Brillio about replicating the transformational model within its own workforce — demonstrating how Brillio’s internal AI transformation can become a blueprint for clients seeking to build AI-native organizations.

“Every year, the HCM Excellence Awards® remind us that innovation is ultimately about impact. The organizations recognized this year have demonstrated that great HR and learning strategies do not just improve programs, they strengthen organizations, empower people and deliver measurable business results. We are honored to celebrate their achievements,” said Rachel Cooke, Chief Operating Officer of Brandon Hall Group™ and HCM Excellence Awards® Program Leader.
