Automotive-Grade MX78 ArmorFlash, Developed under ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 26262 ASIL D-Compliant, Delivering Highest Cybersecurity, Functional Safety to Vehicles

HSINCHU, June 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Macronix International Co., Ltd. (TSE: 2337), a leading integrated device manufacturer in the non-volatile memory (NVM) market, today announced that its ArmorFlashTM MX78 secure NOR flash memory, developed according to the ISO/SAE 21434 development process for cybersecurity, is compliant with the ISO 26262 ASIL D functional safety standard. By adhering to both of these two stringent automotive standards, the MX78 shall have delivered the highest level of vehicle functional safety and cybersecurity.

“The MX78 blends high reliability with advanced security features and certified development processes to provide automotive manufacturers with a secure NOR flash solution that meets stringent functional safety and cybersecurity standards, while accelerating system design and qualification,” said Dr. Donald Huang, director of product marketing and cybersecurity manager at Macronix. “Automotive electronics increasingly face threats to both functional operation and cybersecurity safeguards, due in large part to software-defined vehicles, over-the-air-updates and rapidly change regulatory requirements. The MX78 is significant in this regard because it addresses those challenges simultaneously; it’s a critical element in automotive safety.”

That the MX78 has obtained ISO 26262 ASIL D compliance certification and ISO/SAE 21434 compliance provides value to automotive-electronics OEMs, tier-one vehicle system suppliers, and automotive platform and SOC vendors who demand qualified external secure flash solutions. The device tackles system-level safety and security risks, shortens qualification cycles and confidently deploys secure, safety-critical vehicle systems. Moreover, the MX78 accelerates functional safety ASIL D compliance for vehicle electronics, reduces system integration and certification efforts, and strengthens protection against firmware tampering and cyberattacks.

ISO 26262 functional safety is a multi-billion-dollar global market, projected to see a compounded growth rate of 10.7 percent from 2025 to 2033, according to Growth Market Reports (GMR). GMR attributes that rapid growth to “increasing integration of advanced electronics in vehicles and the growing emphasis on automotive safe standards.”

MX78 is one of the newest members of Macronix’s ArmorFlash™ family of secure NOR flash memory and developed for highly secure applications, such as artificial intelligence, edge computing, advanced communications, and autonomous driving. It won the prestigious Taiwan Excellence Gold Award 2022. In addition to its ISO 26262 development certification, the MX78’s automotive-grade qualities provide long-term data integrity, security capabilities that protect systems from unauthorized access or tampering, long product longevity to meet system lifecycle requirements, and Macronix’s decades of manufacturing prowess and reliability.

ArmorFlash devices serve a wide range of markets –automotive, computing, industrial, IoT, health care, wearables, and smart homes/cities. The family supports SPI, QSPI and OctaBus™ interface standards, while ensuring data confidentiality, integrity and availability. The integrated design of ArmorFlash memory devices consolidates security functions into a single chip, which allows it to meet critical ISO security standards.

This move brings advanced payment capabilities to Bloomsbury Money’s institutional clients, allowing them to move funds faster and more securely across multiple industries and jurisdictions.

Driven by a commitment to market fairness and transparency, Bloomsbury Money, regulated in Jersey/Channel Islands as an e-money institution and VASP, utilizes an open, multi-bank network. The platform continuously integrates diverse banking partners to ensure international clients benefit from robust options, greater resilience, and a wider choice of global currencies and local payment systems.

Through this new integration with ClearBank, clients will be able to access SEPA, SEPA Instant, SWIFT, GBP clearing including Faster Payments, CHAPS and BACS, and Wire services across G10 currencies. All payments and banking services are accessed directly through Bloomsbury Money’s native, in-house built banking platform, ensuring a smooth and unified user experience.

The expanded service suite includes:

Real-time FX conversionsLocal and cross-border paymentsReal named accounts and virtual IBANsCorporate debit cards (launching soon) for business expense management, high-net-worth individuals, and private family offices.

Bridging the Gap in Cross-Border Payments
A key focus of this expansion is Bloomsbury Money’s unique ability to offer access to both stablecoin and traditional fiat banking rails. By linking these two systems together, the platform significantly cuts down settlement times for international transactions, removing traditional friction from cross-border commerce.

Industry Commentary
“As a next generation neobank, our focus is entirely on removing friction through smart technology,” concluded Chris Park, CEO of Bloomsbury Money. “Building our platform entirely in-house allows us to deliver seamless banking services that adapt directly to the high standards of our institutional clients.”

“We’re pleased to support Bloomsbury Money as it expands the capabilities available to its clients.,” said Emma Hagan, UK CEO of ClearBank. “Through ClearBank’s secure, regulated banking infrastructure, clients can access a broader range of payment and account services through a single platform, helping them move money more efficiently across markets and currencies. We’re focused on providing the banking infrastructure that allows our clients to innovate, scale and deliver more for their own customers.”

For too long, institutional finance has been held back by legacy infrastructure, built decades ago. These outdated traditional banking rails often cause delays, high fees, and a lack of transparency. In today’s fast-moving economy, there is a real urgency for banking innovation that matches the speed of modern global business, especially in highly specialized sectors.

“We are excited to bring these customized banking rails to Jersey and other offshore trust companies and funds,” said Michael Idzkowski, Co-founder of Bloomsbury Money. “Offshore markets have unique requirements, and this network expansion gives them the specialized tools they need to manage complex flows efficiently.”

As international commerce grows, the friction within traditional cross-border payment systems has become a major roadblock. Resolving these delays requires looking beyond old banking models and adopting fresh systems that bridge the gap between traditional money and digital assets, whilst maintaining the highest level of regulatory and legal compliance.

“The landscape of global money movement is changing,” added Chris Clarke, Head of Compliance at Bloomsbury Money. “By combining stablecoin and fiat banking rails, we are truly innovating cross-border payments. We are giving clients the speed of digital assets with the safety and familiarity of traditional banking whilst ensuring adherence to JFSC and global compliance standards.”

To truly fix these legacy issues, financial platforms cannot simply patch up old systems. Real innovation requires building smart, modern technology from the ground up to provide a smooth, and scalable user experience.

Mitrade Enters Bloomberg.com Partnership as MENA’s Rapidly Shifting Outlook Makes Financial Context Imperative

Published

DUBAI, UAE, July 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Award-winning broker Mitrade today announced a partnership with Bloomberg.com as energy markets, policy decisions and cross-border capital flows reshape financial conditions across MENA. The relationship advances a clear principle: informed trading begins by looking beyond immediate price action and connecting the dots.

Geopolitical events this year have exposed the speed at which the financial picture shifts. Disruption to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has shown how a single shock can set off repricing across energy markets, rate expectations, currencies, commodities and equities. For traders, keeping pace requires more than following headlines; it means understanding how volatility travels from one market to the next. This understanding must be grounded in credible reporting, rigorous analysis, expert insight and dependable data.

“Across MENA, market understanding depends on seeing how regional developments connect to global forces,” said Kevin Lai, vice president of Mitrade Group. “We are beginning the partnership in Australia by offering Bloomberg.com subscriptions to selected Mitrade Pro clients. Beyond this initial initiative, our relationship with Bloomberg.com reflects a broader brand synergy around credible information and trader education. This alignment matters in MENA, a region whose economic influence extends well beyond its borders. As a global broker, we see meaningful scope to explore the partnership’s wider potential over time.”

Mitrade recently expanded its global product range with more than 300 new CFD instruments. It was also named Best Broker Education Global by International Business Magazine—one of 65 global and regional industry awards the broker has received to date.

A National Day collaboration celebrating the moments that connect us

SINGAPORE, July 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — This National Day, StarHub and Bandwagon are inviting Singaporeans to pause, look up from their screens and rediscover the sounds that make Singapore feel like home.

At the heart of the collaboration is Sounds of Home, an original music project that transforms authentic sounds recorded across Singapore into a unique soundtrack celebrating the people, places and everyday moments that connect us.

Produced by acclaimed local producer, artist and composer Fauxe, the track is built from familiar sounds found across the island, from bustling hawker centres and neighbourhood playgrounds to MRT stations and everyday conversations. Featuring homegrown artists Rene, Krysta Joy, YAØ and Akeem Jahat, the accompanying visual story brings these sounds to life through moments that remind us what it means to call Singapore home.

The collaboration is part of The Power of Pause, StarHub’s digital wellbeing initiative that encourages people to build a healthier relationship with technology. As the company that keeps millions connected every day, StarHub believes that while technology plays an important role in our lives, some of our most meaningful connections begin when we take a moment to be fully present.

“National Day is a time to reflect on what brings us together as Singaporeans. While we often celebrate the big moments, it’s the everyday sounds around us, from familiar voices and neighbourhoods to shared experiences, that remind us what home feels like. Through Sounds of Home, we hope to encourage Singaporeans to pause, listen a little more closely, and reconnect with the moments that matter most.” Lin Liangmin, Head of Brand and Communications, StarHub.

“At Bandwagon, we’ve spent years championing Singapore’s music scene, so we’re always thinking about how sound can tell stories and create meaningful connections. Working closely with StarHub, we saw the potential in the everyday sounds we often take for granted, yet instinctively associate with home, and set out to reimagine them as an original piece of music. Every rhythm, bassline and melody is crafted from the sounds of Singapore. We hope people have fun spotting the familiar sounds woven into the song, while being reminded that, much like music, it’s the many small moments of connection that come together to make Singapore feel like home.” Clarence Chan, Founder & CEO, Bandwagon.

As Singapore celebrates its 61st year of independence, Sounds of Home offers a different way to mark National Day, through the familiar sounds that accompany everyday life. By celebrating the moments we often overlook, the project reminds us that home is found not only in the places we know, but also in the experiences we share every day.

Sounds of Home premieres on StarHub’s LinkedIn page and Bandwagon’s social channels on 30 July 2026. The full soundtrack will also be available on Spotify, Apple Music and other major streaming platforms.
