OAKLAND, Calif., June 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Josh Bersin Company, the world’s most trusted HR advisory firm, today unveiled a bold research and advisory program, HR 2030: The Journey to Agentic HR, detailing a future in which HR operates as a dynamic service, powered not only by AI agents but by a new superstructure of “superagents” working 24/7 across core people and business processes.

HR 2030 is not an incremental change, but a full reimagining of the function

The new vision and blueprint urges organizations to begin this journey now and take an architectural approach to avoid fragmented and inefficient “agent sprawl.”

More details of the HR 2030 vision will be shared at the sold-out Irresistible 2026, The Global Conference for HR Leaders and Their Teams, today during CEO and global industry analyst Josh Bersin’s keynote exploring the global workplace of 2030.

By the end of the decade, HR professionals need to be prepared for a future where, liberated by the growing power of AI agents, they operate as fully dynamic business enablers. To enable this future, organizations need to build a new HR architecture that reflects the complexity of the function, which includes more than 250 specialized roles and 400 skills, according to the research. The report identifies the potential for up to 130 agents, 95 distinct HR-focused agent skills, alongside additional workflow, monitoring, and rules agents, while cautioning against “agent sprawl” as systems scale.

The opportunity for business from AI is substantial; by improving hiring speed and precision, organizations can avoid over-hiring, and by enabling faster reskilling and redeployment, they can enter new markets more quickly. These benefits are 10 to 100 times more impactful than simply using AI to reduce headcount.

However, this also radically transforms today’s HR operating model. HR functions are expected to become smaller and flatter, with headcount potentially reduced by 30–50% (unevenly across roles). At the same time, the proportion of strategic work is expected to increase from around 30% to as much as 75%.

Agentic HR 2030: a synthesis of intelligence, automation, and dynamic enablement

AI agents will respond to alerts and opportunities by assembling teams of specialist agents. These enterprise-grade systems connect multiple data sources, orchestrate workflows, and manage end-to-end processes. Acting as digital coworkers, they are coordinated by an “HR superagent” that spans talent, development, rewards, employee experience, and workforce services. The blueprint explains how these agents will continuously draw on internal and external data, monitor operational metrics, and create feedback loops to improve performance.

To maximize impact, the study warns organizations must leverage existing business rules and train agents to align with company policies, culture, and governance frameworks.

Challenge and change, but also opportunity

New roles will emerge, the research states, with HR and IT teams central to training, managing, and optimizing AI agents, alongside growing demand for skills in data integration, quality, labeling, and governance.

Agentic HR will also reshape core functions: talent acquisition, internal mobility, and workforce redeployment will become more automated and connected, while career development, learning, and upskilling will become more dynamic, personalized, and business-aligned.

The report also anticipates the growing use of AI-generated digital personas (“digital twins”), capable of interacting with employees to provide coaching and support.

The model also points to a move toward more federated, business-embedded teams. The role of HR professionals will evolve fundamentally—from process owners to enablers of business capability.

Organizations may be able to deliver significantly greater value with fewer people by 2030, as work is redesigned around AI-driven systems.

Ultimately, HR 2030 is not an incremental change, but a full reimagining of the function. The journey to agentic HR will require a phased approach, with continuous improvement across workflows, architecture, and organizational design.

Global industry analyst and CEO of The Josh Bersin Company, Josh Bersin, said:

“HR is facing its biggest transformation in decades. This is not simply about inserting AI into transactional systems but building a totally new HR operating model that delivers continuous insights-to-action for the employees and leaders—moving from workforce administration to what we call ‘dynamic enablement for growth’.”

“HR 2030 is a comprehensive program to give HR and business leaders a clear, research-based and technology-neutral set of tools, education, and methodologies for reinvention.”

“Our HR 2030 Blueprint and vision are only the beginning, we will be publishing detailed architectures, vendor analysis, operating models, and benchmarks to help business leaders, HR leaders, and vendors move swiftly into the future.”

The full HR 2030: The Journey to Agentic HR analysis and implementation blueprint is available through Corporate Membership and within the Galileo® Suite, including new agentic workflows to help companies model their existing HR operation for change.

“Being named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for CIAM is a defining moment for Ping, and something we’ve been working towards for many years. Los Angeles Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. David Salehani Uses Live 3D Navigation to Plan and Place Full-Arch All-on-X Dental Implants

Published

on

By

Board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon David Salehani, DDS, MD, combines CBCT-based digital planning with X-Guide live navigation for patients replacing a full arch of missing or failing teeth with All-on-X dental implants at Sunset Oral and Facial Surgery. The approach offers patients who wear dentures, or who have been told they lack the bone for implants, a fixed full-arch option planned around their own anatomy.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sunset Oral and Facial Surgery, the practice of board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon David Salehani, DDS, MD, is using live 3D navigation to guide All-on-X full-arch dental implant treatment for patients throughout Los Angeles, including West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. By pairing a detailed cone beam CT (CBCT) scan and digital treatment planning with the X-Guide dynamic navigation system during surgery, Dr. Salehani maps out the position, angle and depth of each implant before the procedure and tracks the drill against that plan in real time as the implants are placed.

All-on-X is a general term for full-arch restorations that replace an entire upper or lower row of teeth with a fixed bridge anchored to a small number of implants, typically four to six per arch. The best-known version, the All-on-4® treatment concept, uses two implants placed upright in the front of the jaw and two placed at an angle toward the back. Angling the rear implants allows them to engage the denser bone toward the front of the jaw, which lets many patients with reduced bone volume proceed without a separate bone grafting procedure. In most cases, a temporary fixed set of teeth is attached on the day of surgery, and the permanent prosthesis is placed several months later once the implants have integrated with the bone.

Those angled implants are where planning and precision matter most. The back of the upper jaw sits beneath the maxillary sinus, and the lower jaw carries the inferior alveolar nerve, which provides sensation to the lip and chin. Each implant also has to sit in the correct relationship to the others so the final full-arch bridge fits and functions as intended. With live navigation implant surgery, the CBCT-based plan is displayed during the procedure alongside a live view of the drill’s position, much like a GPS route, allowing Dr. Salehani to follow the planned trajectory and make adjustments as he works.

Full-arch treatment is designed for adults who have lost most or all of their teeth in one or both arches, whose remaining teeth are failing, or who are frustrated with removable dentures that slip, rub or require adhesive. It is also an option to explore for patients who have been told elsewhere that they do not have enough bone for implants. Candidacy is determined at consultation, where Dr. Salehani reviews the CBCT scan, bone volume, sinus anatomy, bite and overall medical health. Some patients are better served by individual implants, by bone grafting before implant placement or by a different number of implants per arch, and those options are discussed as part of the evaluation.

Dr. Salehani’s training spans both dentistry and medicine. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who holds dental and medical degrees and completed a general surgery internship, he performs full-arch implant surgery under IV sedation or general anesthesia and reviews each patient’s medical history as part of surgical planning. His practice also includes bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, corrective jaw surgery and facial reconstruction, which allows him to consider the jaw as a whole when planning a full-arch case.

“Most of my full-arch patients have spent years dealing with failing teeth or dentures they don’t trust, and many of them have been told they don’t have enough bone for implants,” said Dr. Salehani. “The plan starts with the CBCT scan, because that shows exactly how much bone we have to work with and where the sinus and the nerve are. Navigation lets me carry that plan into surgery and confirm where each implant is going as I place it. Not every patient is a candidate for All-on-X, and part of every consultation is an honest conversation about whether this is the right approach or whether something else will serve them better.”

Individual results vary by patient. Anyone considering full-arch dental implants is encouraged to consult with a qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon to discuss whether the treatment is appropriate for them.

AstroRad Vest Worn by Astronauts Aboard International Space Station to Go on Display at Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

The historic exhibition follows landmark radiation protection findings from NASA’s Artemis I mission, whose AstroRad vest is separately displayed at Kennedy Space Center.

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — StemRad, a developer of advanced radiation protection technology, shared that one of its AstroRad radiation protection vests, flown aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and worn by five space travelers, will go on display in the At Home in Space gallery at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

The vest was worn by four female American astronauts and an Israeli private astronaut during everyday activities aboard the ISS, including work and sleep. These in-orbit evaluations provided valuable experience with the practicality and comfort of wearable radiation protection during extended space missions.

The Smithsonian exhibition follows the recent publication of landmark scientific findings in Science Advances from NASA’s Artemis I mission. The research demonstrated AstroRad’s ability to dramatically reduce radiation exposure during potentially cancer-inducing solar radiation storms: for the August 1972 storm, which occurred between Apollo 16 and 17, a 60% reduction in dose was demonstrated (roughly 1,200 chest X-rays). This provided important evidence for protecting astronauts on future missions to the Moon and Mars.

The AstroRad vest that traveled around the Moon aboard Artemis I is separately on display at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida. Together, the two exhibits trace AstroRad’s journey from operational evaluations aboard the ISS to radiation protection research beyond Earth’s magnetic field.

“Having AstroRad displayed at the Smithsonian is a tremendous honor and a proud milestone for our team,” said Dr. Oren Milstein, CEO and Co-Founder of StemRad. “Knowing that a technology we developed to help protect astronauts is now being recognized as part of the history of space exploration is incredibly rewarding. With AstroRad also on display at Kennedy Space Center following the groundbreaking Artemis I mission, we hope these exhibits will inspire future generations to tackle the challenges of human space exploration.”

“The AstroRad vest helps tell two stories in the new At Home in Space exhibit,” said Dr. Jennifer Levasseur, Museum Curator, and the lead curator for the gallery. “Importantly, the vest represents efforts to protect astronauts from the significant concern of increased radiation exposure on long duration spaceflights. It’s also an example of how technology demonstrations on the ISS will inform future human deep space exploration.” AstroRad was developed by StemRad in collaboration with Lockheed Martin to address one of the principal challenges of human space exploration: exposure to harmful ionizing radiation. The ISS operational evaluations, the Artemis I scientific results, and the Smithsonian and Kennedy Space Center exhibitions collectively highlight the growing role of wearable radiation protection in the future of human spaceflight.
