TiDB Launches Agent State Stack at SuperAI Summit Singapore, Gives AI Agents Production-Grade Memory

Published

SINGAPORE, June 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — TiDB, the open-source distributed SQL database, today launched the TiDB Agent State Stack at SuperAI Summit Singapore, a unified data foundation that gives AI agents durable memory, persistent state, and continuous context as they scale into production.

As organizations move beyond AI pilots and proofs of concept, a new challenge is emerging: AI agents struggle to retain memory, maintain state, and preserve context across sessions, workflows, tools, and teams. While many agents can perform tasks in isolated environments, scaling them into enterprise-grade systems often requires stitching together multiple disconnected components for memory, retrieval, file storage, and operational data.

The pressure to solve this is intensifying. According to Gartner, fewer than 5% of enterprise applications included task-specific AI agents in 2025, a figure expected to reach 40% by the end of 2026. Yet while 75% of organizations are piloting or deploying AI agents, only 15% are working with fully autonomous agents, a gap that points directly to the missing infrastructure layer beneath them.

The TiDB Agent State Stack closes that gap. It brings memory, state, and context management onto a single distributed SQL foundation, so the data an agent needs to act reliably lives in one place rather than scattered across systems that were never designed to work together.

“The agents our customers run in production spin up and discard millions of database instances a day. That starts with the database: Agents need a backbone that is ephemeral, concurrent, and stateful at once, and persistent and elastic enough to scale with them. TiDB is that backbone,” said Max Liu, Co-founder and CEO of TiDB. “The TiDB Agent State Stack goes a layer further, adding specialized tools for memory, files, and artifacts on top. That is how teams finally move agents from prototype to production without stitching together a separate system for every kind of state.”

The TiDB Agent State Stack combines three core components:

TiDB Cloud Zero provides a zero-friction database foundation for agent workloads. With a single command, or an embedded skill inside the agent itself, developers provision a fully functional SQL backend to store session histories, task records, tool outputs, retrieval metadata, structured data, and runtime state.mem9 offers persistent memory for AI agents, letting them retain information across interactions, recall previous conversations, and build continuity over time. Rather than locking memory into a single model or framework, mem9 runs on TiDB Cloud as a portable memory layer.drive9 delivers a persistent workspace for files, artifacts, and agent-generated content. Agents can create, store, retrieve, and reason over documents and outputs while maintaining continuity across sessions and environments.

Together, these capabilities keep memory, operational data, retrieval metadata, files, and execution history connected as agent deployments scale. Most teams currently solve this with three or four disconnected systems, slowing time to market and creating multiple points of failure in production.

This launch strengthens TiDB’s position as a foundational data platform for agentic AI. As model providers introduce their own proprietary memory and workflow features, the TiDB Agent State Stack keeps memory and state portable, governed, and independent of any single AI platform, giving enterprises the control and flexibility to own their agent architecture rather than renting it from a model vendor.

By bringing together TiDB Cloud Zero, mem9, and drive9, the TiDB Agent State Stack gives developers a practical path from prototype to production, so the next generation of enterprise AI agents can operate with the persistence, continuity, and reliability that real-world deployments demand.

Sauropods in Katsuyama: Standing Beneath the Giants That Shook the Earth at Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum

Published

KATSUYAMA, Japan, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Kanazawa Biyori, a regional media outlet rooted in the Hokuriku region of northwestern Japan — one that reports not only on famous landmarks but on the culture that still breathes through this region — turns its lens toward a gathering of prehistoric giants. The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum’s special exhibition for 2026, titled in Japanese Ryūkyakurui: Daichi o Yurugashita Chijō Saidai no Ikimono and rendered in English by Kanazawa Biyori as “Sauropods: The Largest Creatures Ever to Walk the Earth,” runs through November 3 and explores how these long-necked, long-tailed plant-eaters grew to such extraordinary size.

A Skeleton Preserved as It Was Found

The centerpiece is Xinjiangtitan, a sauropod from China displayed in situ, preserving the arrangement in which its bones were excavated rather than reconstructing the skeleton from scattered remains. The cast measures approximately 19 meters in length. The specimens displayed alongside it, drawn from Japan, China and Spain, include fossils being shown in Japan for the first time and together explore a central question: how did any land animal grow this large?

A World First, and Fossils From Across Japan

Also on view is Iniestapodus, a footprint fossil exhibited as a cast and, according to the organizers, displayed publicly for the first time anywhere in the world. Alongside it are sauropod fossils — some of them actual specimens rather than casts — from every locality in Japan where such remains have been discovered, gathered together for the first time. Among them is Tambatitanis.

A Summer Project and a Lifelong Fascination

Throughout the exhibition, the museum offers guided tours led by its own researchers as well as lectures by visiting specialists. The exhibition also provides an ideal subject for the summer research projects commonly assigned to Japanese schoolchildren, making it a destination for families as much as for lifelong dinosaur enthusiasts. An exhibition of this scale and scope could be realized only at one of the world’s leading dinosaur museums.

Standing Beneath Nineteen Meters of History

Kanazawa Biyori visited the exhibition. Until we entered the hall, “19 meters” was merely a number — these animals had existed for us only in books and illustrations. The museum bridges that gap with video installations, dioramas and skeletal models that allow even visitors with no background in paleontology to grasp the scale of what stands before them.

One display in particular remained with us: restored forelimbs presented side by side at full scale. Brachiosaurus, the largest, reaches 5.0 meters, while Fukuititan stands at 1.8 meters — a difference immediately apparent to the eye. Beyond that are world-premiere exhibits, fossils excavated from sites across Japan, and specimens brought from China and Spain. The exhibition traces the evolution of these animals, the excavation of their remains and the lives they once led, in a sequence so absorbing that we lost track of time.

Why Kanazawa Biyori Tells This Story

Hokuriku is often reduced to a handful of familiar images — gardens, hot springs and gold leaf. Yet this coast also preserves the ground from which Japan’s dinosaurs emerge, and it is home to a museum regarded as one of the finest of its kind in the world.

We are reporting on this exhibition not simply as another destination to add to a travel itinerary, but because standing beneath a 19-meter skeleton fundamentally alters one’s sense of scale in a way no photograph can capture. That experience, we believe, deserves to be shared with readers far beyond these shores.

INFiLED Launches GeminiLED Series: a Dual-Sided LED Display for Public Spaces

Published

An ultra-thin dual-sided LED display for retail, corporate and transportation environments where information must remain visible from more than one direction.

SHENZHEN, China, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — INFiLED announced the launch of the GeminiLED Series last week, introducing an ultra-thin dual-sided LED display for venues where information needs to remain visible from both sides. The series brings two fully independent display faces into a slim 25.5 mm structure, with suspended and freestanding configurations for wayfinding, branding, service updates and visitor messaging in high-traffic interiors.

In airports, rail hubs, retail atriums and corporate lobbies, information no longer belongs to one fixed viewing direction. People read while walking, approach from different angles and rely on displays as part of how they understand the space. INFiLED GeminiLED responds to this reality by aligning visibility, installation and daily operation in one compact public-space format.

Its value is spatial as much as visual – clearer communication from both sides, with less visual pressure on the architecture around it.

Communication Follows the Flow of People

Public venues are planned around movement, not a single viewing line. INFiLED GeminiLED Series turns that planning reality into a dual-sided communication format: each face operates independently, so one side may guide people entering a zone while the other presents updates, branding or visitor messaging for the opposite approach.

For planners, designers and system integrators, the value shifts from screen count to information placement. Messaging becomes easier to organize, the visual environment stays cleaner, and content reaches people according to how they actually move through the venue.

The Display Becomes Part of the Architecture

In atriums, terminals and lobbies, a display’s physical form affects sightlines, ceiling structures and circulation routes. INFiLED GeminiLED’s 25.5 mm profile keeps the dual-sided structure slim within open interiors, while the 7.5 kg cabinet supports suspended configurations of up to 15 cabinets with fewer hanging points. Above circulation routes, this supports a larger dual-sided communication surface while keeping the structure visually restrained and the movement below open.

The same planning logic extends beyond overhead use. GeminiLED is available in either 16:9 or 9:16 formats to match the intended communication role, from horizontal information to vertical wayfinding, lobby messaging or retail storytelling. Suspended and freestanding totem configurations further match the display to different public-space layouts, so the format follows the space from the start.

Clarity and Control Continue Through Daily Operation

Public venues place pressure on both image quality and system stability. People read while walking, often from the side. Light changes under skylights, glass roofs and bright interior halls. Display systems also operate near public-address, security, wayfinding and facility infrastructure.

Each performance detail answers a real condition:

Under bright interior light or glass-covered ceilings, 1500 nits brightness keeps public information readable. As audiences approach from oblique angles, a 170° viewing angle keeps messages visible earlier in the walking path. For maps, text, service updates and brand visuals, MIP technology and 100,000:1 contrast support cleaner colour, stronger depth and clearer visual separation.Around public-address, security and wayfinding systems, EMC Class B certification supports stable coexistence in busy electronic environments.

Surface performance also matters over time. GeminiLED integrates SolidSkin technology to protect the LED surface while improving flatness and visual uniformity. In high-use public interiors, this supports clearer images, reduced moiré and stronger resistance to dust, moisture and incidental contact.

Long-hour operation is part of the same public-space requirement. INFiLED GeminiLED’s 24/7 reliability is designed for venues where displays remain active throughout the day, supporting stable performance in continuous public use. Its 5G-efficient control system supports stable signal transmission and cleaner internal cabling, helping the installation stay organized, serviceable and steady through daily operation.

Public-space communication is moving from screen placement to information architecture. A display is increasingly judged by how naturally it carries messages through a venue – visible from the right directions, restrained within the architecture and reliable through daily use.

That direction reflects INFiLED’s wider approach to LED display engineering. As a global LED display manufacturer with project experience across rental, fixed installation and commercial environments, INFiLED continues to shape solutions around image performance, structural integration and operational reliability. GeminiLED Series extends that experience into dual-sided public communication, creating a more considered way for professional venues to keep information visible from both directions while the space remains open, ordered and ready for everyday use.

Lovense Launches Remote 8.0 With an Upgraded Ecosystem Experience

Published

on

By

SINGAPORE, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — In July 2026, Lovense has officially launched Remote 8.0, a major update to the Remote App, one of the most important entry points to the Lovense ecosystem. Building on Remote’s established device-control capabilities, version 8.0 introduces a unified experience for the next stage of the ecosystem, bringing hardware, content, interactive experiences and community together while keeping device control continuously accessible.

Remote 8.0 organizes the app around five main spaces: Community, Message, Toy, Explore and Me. Presented within a clearer, more cohesive structure, these spaces give users a more consistent way to move between controlling connected devices, discovering content, accessing interactive experiences and connecting with others. The update builds on Remote’s established role in device control, extending that foundation across a broader ecosystem experience.

Persistent access to toy controls is central to the redesigned experience. When users navigate away from the main control panel, connected devices can continue running while a floating control bubble remains available for intensity adjustments as they browse other areas of the app. Physical volume keys can also be used to change device intensity directly. Together, these updates allow users to explore more of the Lovense ecosystem without having to repeatedly return to the main control screen.

Remote 8.0 reflects our continued commitment to improving how users experience Lovense,” said Dan Liu, CEO of Lovense. “By creating a clearer and more unified journey across control, content, interaction and community, this update strengthens the foundation for the continued evolution of the Lovense ecosystem.”

The update also brings community participation and shared content closer to Remote’s established control experience. Lovense Bond provides a dedicated environment for community conversations and discovery, while Patterns continues to allow users to share vibration patterns they have created and explore patterns contributed by others. Communication, personal activity and interactive experiences are brought into the same overall journey, creating a more connected path between device control and other parts of the ecosystem.

The significance of Remote 8.0 lies in how the update brings previously distinct parts of the Lovense experience into a more unified structure. Device control remains at the center, while content, interaction and community become easier to discover and access around it. Remote 8.0 represents an important step in Lovense‘s ongoing work to improve and refine the experience across its ecosystem. Lovense will continue to develop Remote’s core experiences in future releases.

Remote 8.0 is now available globally on iOS and Android. Users can download or update to the latest version through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
