Neolix, World’s Leading Autonomous Delivery Fleet Operator, Begins First L4 Testing in Tokyo

Neolix conducts its first L4 test at Tokyo Ryutsu Center (TRC, 株式会社東京流通センター) after joining the Heiwajima Autonomous Driving Conference, focusing on adaptation to local operating conditions.

TOKYO, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Neolix, a world-leading operator of commercial autonomous delivery fleets, has begun a closed-course L4 validation trial at Tokyo Ryutsu Center (TRC) in Heiwajima, marking the company’s first L4 testing programme in Japan and represents a key step in localising its autonomous delivery technology for the Japanese operating environment, following adaptation and deployment efforts in other left-hand-traffic markets, including Singapore and Malaysia.

The first three of the 10 autonomous delivery vehicles arrived in Japan on August 31 and are currently undergoing testing at TRC, operating in the designated parking area and on the rooftop roadways of Distribution A Bldg. The remaining vehicles will join the programme in phases, bringing Neolix’s fleet at TRC to 10 vehicles. Neolix plans to conduct further pilot testing in Japan, including cross-floor routes within buildings, internal warehouse lanes, and operations involving ramps and inclines, to further adapt its autonomous delivery technology to local operating conditions.

The test fleet comprises Xolra 3 vehicles and Xolra 6 vehicles, covering different vehicle sizes and cargo capacities. The Xolra 3 offers 3 cubic metres of cargo space and a maximum payload of 520 kg, while the Xolra 6 offers 6 cubic metres and up to 1,000–1,130 kg. Both use map-light autonomous driving technology that does not require pre-built high-definition maps, potentially reducing mapping and deployment costs by up to 90%.

The test follows Neolix’s June 2026 entry into the Heiwajima Autonomous Driving conference, which is based at TRC and brings together companies from the automotive, logistics and ICT sectors to advance the practical implementation of autonomous driving. The Council works through cross-industry initiatives in areas including in-facility autonomous driving, circular last-mile delivery and physical AI cargo handling.

TRC operates 24 hours a day and serves as a logistics hub connecting land, sea and air, with more than 10,000 trucks coming and going each day. Its logistics operations provide a real-world setting for testing autonomous vehicles under conditions relevant to commercial logistics.

Neolix has deployed approximately 27,000 autonomous delivery vehicles across more than 320 cities in more than 15 countries, accumulating more than 230 million kilometres of autonomous driving. Its vehicles are designed for a range of operating environments, including public roads, logistics parks, warehouses, factories and indoor commercial facilities.

Looking ahead, Neolix plans to deepen collaboration with Japanese partners to explore new applications for autonomous delivery and develop more efficient and sustainable logistics solutions tailored to local needs.

About Neolix

Neolix is a global AI-powered autonomous logistics solutions company, building full-stack technologies that bring L4 autonomous delivery into real-world commercial operations. With one of the world’s largest commercial autonomous delivery fleets, proprietary RoboVans deployed across 320+ cities in 15+ countries and regions, and over 230 million autonomous kilometres logged, Neolix is transforming vehicles, AI, data, and operations into the next infrastructure layer for global logistics.

About the Heiwajima Autonomous Driving conference

The Heiwajima Autonomous Driving conference was established in April 2025, with Tokyo Ryutsu Center (TRC) as its base. With autonomous driving at its core, the conference aims to help address social challenges such as labour shortages in the logistics industry through cross-industry collaboration. The conference brings together corporate members from industries including automotive, logistics and ICT and advances autonomous driving applications through working groups focused on areas such as in-facility autonomous driving, circular last-mile delivery and physical AI cargo handling.

62% of financial services professionals say an AI-generated error has reached a client

New Macabacus report finds AI adoption has outpaced the guardrails needed to keep client-facing models and documents accurate.

NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Macabacus, the leading M365 productivity platform for finance and professional services teams, today released the report: GenAI for Financial Services: Velocity and Verification. The report finds that AI now sits at the core of model creation and client presentation development, but most firms lack the review and verification layer needed to catch AI-generated errors before they reach clients.

New Macabacus report finds AI adoption has outpaced the guardrails to keep client-facing models and documents accurate

Drawing on a survey of Macabacus’ 75,000 users and analysis of conversations with hundreds of clients and prospects, the report quantifies the gap between how fast AI is being adopted and how slowly firms are building guardrails to ensure their clients can trust their deal content.

“AI is now involved in the majority of models and documents that reach clients, with 87% of firms saying they use AI daily or weekly for this work,” said Paul Ross, Chief Marketing Officer, Macabacus. “Deal teams should not slow down their use of AI. They need guardrails that let them move faster while maintaining accuracy and their clients’ trust. That is what Macabacus is built for.”

Key findings include:

62% of respondents believe an AI-generated error has reached a client or internal decision-maker in the past 12 months, with 46% saying an error has “probably” landed in a deliverable without anyone catching it.87% use AI daily or weekly to generate financial models and client presentations, but only 23% have comprehensive guardrails (approved tools, accuracy checks, brand compliance, and review workflows) in place.AI has created a divergence in confidence at the review handoff stage for models and presentations: 43% of analysts and associates say AI has made them more confident in their work, while only 29% VPs, directors, and MDs state the same. That leadership group is also 6 points more likely to say AI has made them less confident.
