ROSSVILLE, Md., Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — LifeLogics, a nonprofit technology company serving the organ and tissue donation and transplantation community, today announced the appointment of Ankit Mathur as Chief Executive Officer.

Mathur brings more than two decades of experience in technology, healthcare, and organizational leadership to LifeLogics, most recently serving as Chief Technology Officer of United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). His appointment comes as LifeLogics looks to strengthen its technology platforms, deepen customer partnerships, and help advance the organ donation and transplantation ecosystem.

“Ankit brings a rare combination of healthcare technology experience, entrepreneurial leadership, and a deep understanding of the organ donation and transplantation community,” said Mathew Moss, Chair of the LifeLogics Board of Directors. “As LifeLogics enters its third decade, we see a tremendous opportunity to build on the organization’s foundation while strengthening our commitment to innovation, customer partnerships, and operational excellence. We’re confident Ankit is the right leader to help us realize this vision.”

As CEO, Mathur will lead LifeLogics through its next phase of growth and modernization, with a focus on strengthening the company’s partnerships with organ procurement organizations (OPOs), advancing its technology platforms, improving the customer experience, and expanding interoperability across the donation ecosystem.

“Behind every organ donation is a family navigating one of the most difficult moments of their lives. The work our customers do every day to honor those gifts and help save lives is extraordinary, and LifeLogics has an important responsibility to support them,” said Mathur.

“That responsibility goes beyond building great technology. It means being a trusted partner, providing the service and support our customers deserve, and making their work easier so they can focus on what matters most. I’m excited to work alongside our customers and the LifeLogics team to build on the company’s foundation while raising the bar for what our customers should expect from their technology partner.”

At UNOS, Mathur helped guide technology strategy and modernization initiatives supporting the nation’s organ donation and transplantation system. Previously, he was Chief Delivery Officer for the U.S. Digital Service at the White House. Earlier in his career, Mathur founded Roundtrip, a healthcare technology company ensuring patients have reliable access to transportation. More than 2,000 teams from 78 countries and regions deployed Tripo AI’s 3D-native foundation models to develop games, film and VFX, applications, immersive experiences, and physical designs.

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Tripo AI announced the winners of its first world-building hackathon, Tripothon S1.

Running from Sept. 15 to Oct. 20, Tripothon saw record participation with more than 2,000 registered teams from across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania. Countries with the highest participation were China, the US, Brazil, India and South Korea. Under the theme of “A Gift for __ “, competing teams submitted projects across five categories: games, film and VFX, VR/XR/AR, applications, and physical design. Along with online competition, Tripo also hosted five in-person events in San Francisco, São Paulo, Seoul, Barcelona and Shanghai.

The first-place prize went to a 3D third-person shooter (TPS) survival game “Somehow Still Alive”, while the second place was given to an immersive experience game, “A Long Farewell”. Third place was awarded to an application developed by a student from Keio University in Japan that turns children’s crafts into 3D creatures, connecting children from all corners of the world. The top three winners will receive cash prizes of $5,000, $4,000, and $3,000, respectively.

“Tripothon put Tripo’s 3D-native foundation models and Tripo API into the hands of 3D enthusiasts around the world,” said Dr. Cao Yanpei, Co-founder and Chief Scientist of Tripo AI. “The participants demonstrated ingenious ways to utilise them. From interactive games to medical devices, the submitted work exemplifies the infinite possibilities of generative 3D.”

The Tripothon Demo Day in San Francisco took place during SF Tech Week. The event drew great enthusiasm from both participating teams and audiences alike. Nearly 60 teams took part and more than 800 audience members attended. The winner of the US Tripothon Demo Day presented a 3D interactive adventure and puzzle game that combines real-time conversations with historical figures. Second place went to a WebXR app dubbed “Dear Little Me”, which turn drawings into 3D interactive game play. The developer behind the project, Dulce Baerga, said she used Tripo’s pipeline to create a fantastical, whimsical imagination space for kids and make the whole game a bonding experience for parents and kids. And UC Berkeley student Yichi Zhang took home third place for her VR project “Space Archaeology,” in which players explore the solar system and collect artifacts.

The in-person event in São Paulo brought together a crowd of more than 250 people, while the event in Shanghai attracted over 400 attendees.

Barcelona also saw strong projects across the generative 3D spectrum. From 3D web apps to sketch-based interactive garment authoring and virtual try-on, participants made full use of Tripo’s 3D-native foundation models, applying generative 3D to real-world applications. Charles David-Purdon, who travelled from  Britain to attend the Barcelona Tripothon S1 Demo Day, said he felt encouraged and inspired by the event and planned to keep developing his Tripothon project, which was created to help people overcome apiphobia or the fear of bees.

Alongside the three overall winners, Tripo also announced the top three winners in each of the five categories.

New Compact Air Purifier Features AirDoctor’s UltraHEPA® Filtration Technology for Use in Hotel Rooms, Vacation Rentals and Other Spaces Where Portability Matters

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — AirDoctor is excited to announce the launch of the AirDoctor GO!, a portable air purifier designed for travelers and everyone on the GO! As wellness becomes a greater priority, AirDoctor’s new purifier addresses an often-overlooked concern: indoor air quality in hotels, vacation rentals, work offices and other spaces where people have limited control over airborne contaminants and ventilation.

Designed to move with you and be travel-friendly, AirDoctor GO! attaches to the telescoping handle of a carry-on suitcase and is small enough to fit beneath an airplane seat as a personal item. Beyond travel, AirDoctor GO! is made for portability between everyday environments, whether bringing it on road trips, to and from the office, using it in a dorm room, or moving it between spaces at home.

The purifier comes with a carrying case and a six-foot power cord, and features universal voltage compatibility (100–240V) for international travel. Built into its compact design, AirDoctor GO! features the brand’s advanced 3-stage filtration system, combining UltraHEPA® technology, Premium Carbon/VOC material, and a pre-filter in a single replaceable filter assembly. The unit circulates the air in a typical hotel-sized room (270 square feet) approximately three times per hour.

“One of the first things people notice when they walk into a hotel room is bad indoor air quality,” said Helen Christoni, Chief Business Officer at AirDoctor. “It could be lingering smoke from previous guests, musty mold or mildew, strong cleaning products or artificial fragrances used to mask odors. We developed AirDoctor GO! to give people a way to take control of the air they breathe wherever they GO!.”

AirDoctor GO! also features a built-in aromatherapy tray that allows people to add a preferred scent to their surroundings. The proprietary combined AirDoctor UltraHEPA & VOC filter is designed to be replaced approximately every six months, with an indicator light that signals when a replacement is needed. An optional premium carrying case allows the purifier to operate while inside the case.

AirDoctor GO! is available at AirDoctor.com for $249. The unit measures 15 inches tall, 11 inches wide and 7 inches deep, and weighs 9.8 pounds.
