Designed for today’s indoor lifestyles, SunBooster by SunLED Life Science restores beneficial near-infrared light during screen time, supporting energy, mood and overall wellbeing

NEW YORK and AMSTERDAM, July 9, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — SunLED Life Science, a health-centered technology scaleup, today announced the US launch of SunBooster, a near-infrared (NIR) device that brings the systemic, essential health and wellness benefits of natural sunlight indoors. SunBooster is a user-friendly device that attaches easily to a PC monitor, laptop or tablet screen. Its technology has been scientifically shown to significantly boost your energy and support your wellbeing. The device delivers a healthy dose of near-infrared light (NIR) – an essential part of sunlight that is absent in indoor light – to users over two to four hours while they work, study, game or browse the internet. View a short video about SunBooster here.

“SunBooster transforms screen time from an energy drain into something that supports well-being. It’s an ideal solution for anyone looking to invest in more energy, a better mood, and long-term wellness benefits for themselves or their team.”

SunBooster is now available for shipping across the US and can be purchased online at a recommended retail price of $249. It is available via the SunBooster website and on Amazon, and will also be available through tm:rw in New York City, starting at the end of July. The award-winning wellness device has earned numerous recognitions, including the 2025 TIME Best Inventions, the 2025 IFA Innovation Award for Best in Digital Healthcare, the CES 2026 Techlicious Editor’s Choice Award, and The Gadgeteer MWC 2026 Best of Show Award.

The growing challenge of modern indoor lifestyles.

All indoor lighting lacks NIR, an essential part of the solar spectrum that makes up 50% of sunlight. The average person spends 90% of their waking hours indoors, deprived of NIR light, which can lead to adverse health effects. As windows filter out NIR, even sunlight that passes through them cannot help address the growing global health issues caused by modern indoor lifestyles.

Scientific literature has shown a range of health and well-being benefits of NIR, including reduced fatigue. A 2023 double-blind clinical study at the University of Groningen found that SunLED’s patented NIR light technology enhances mood and energy, supporting overall wellbeing and vitality. SunBooster’s patented, scientifically validated technology creates photobiomodulation by exposing users to a targeted dose of near-infrared light – an essential component of sunlight that is missing from indoor lighting – over several hours during screen use.

“People in industrialized countries spend most of their waking hours indoors and up to seven hours a day looking at screens – away from sunlight. SunBooster turns that narrative around by transforming screen time from an energy drain into something that supports well-being,” said Dr. Anne Berends, CEO, CTO, and co-founder of SunLED Life Science. “It’s an ideal solution for anyone looking to invest in more energy, a better mood, and long-term wellness benefits for themselves or their team.”

Developed by SunLED Life Science after seven years of research and development, SunBooster is the first NIR device to bring the systemic health benefits of sunlight indoors and make them accessible, allowing people to effortlessly integrate it into their workspace and daily routine.

SunBooster’s Features and Benefits:

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is SunBooster?
A: SunBooster is a near-infrared (NIR) light device that clips onto any laptop or monitor display and delivers a dose of 850nm near-infrared light while people work, game or browse. SunBooster is the first NIR device built specifically to bring the systemic health benefits of sunlight indoors without requiring a dedicated session in front of a lamp.

Q: Who is SunBooster designed for?
A: SunBooster is designed for people who spend long hours at a screen, for example, remote and hybrid knowledge workers, students, gamers, and employers building corporate wellness programs. SunBooster is sold directly to consumers and offered as an enterprise product, with bulk pricing available for corporate wellness programs.

Q: How do you use SunBooster, and how long per day?
A: You clip SunBooster onto any monitor or laptop screen (or place it on the table nearby), positioned so the LEDs point at your chin from the front or side, and stay within 30 to 80 cm of the device. Used for 2 to 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, most people notice a difference

Q: How is SunBooster different from other light therapy or wellness gadgets?
A: Most light therapy devices, such as daylight lamps, red-light panels and UV masks, require users to sit in front of them for a set session. SunBooster runs silently in the background during normal screen time, using narrow-beam optics to deliver near-infrared light while people work. SunBooster’s near-infrared wavelength (850nm) also penetrates more deeply than red light or visible daylight, and its effects are backed by an independent double-blind study rather than category-level wellness claims.

Q: How much does SunBooster cost, and what’s included?
A: SunBooster retails for $249 in the U.S., €199 in Europe and 199£ in the UK, and includes the SunBooster device and a USB-C cable. It draws up to 4.5 watts, weighs 120 grams, and connects via standard USB-C power. Enterprise and bulk pricing are available for employers purchasing SunBooster for corporate wellness programs.

Q: Is SunBooster backed by science or clinical studies?
A: Yes. SunBooster’s near-infrared technology has scientifically demonstrated health benefits, as established in an independent double-blind, placebo-controlled study conducted at the University of Groningen and another at Maastricht University. The Groningen study found improved mood and focus after continued use.

Q: Is SunBooster safe to use?
A: Yes — SunBooster’s near-infrared light has been demonstrated to be safe for daily use, even across multiple sessions throughout the day, with no risk of overexposure.

Q: What is the technology behind SunBooster, and where does it come from?
A: SunBooster runs on SunLED Life Science’s patented near-infrared LED technology, developed over more than seven years of R&D by SunLED’s Amsterdam-based team. SunLED licenses the same core NIR technology to OEM partners for integration into screens, automotive dashboards, and general lighting. SunBooster is SunLED’s first direct-to-consumer application of its technology.

Q: Is SunBooster a medical device?
A: SunBooster is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. SunBooster’s effects on mood, energy, and general well-being are described strictly in the context of independent scientific research and user-reported experiences, not as medical claims.

RocketReach and Trestle partnership verifies 190 million phone numbers with a 2x higher connection rate

NEW YORK, Aug. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — RocketReach, the leading sales and lead intelligence platform trusted by more than 30 million users and 95% of the S&P 500, announced their partnership with Trestle, a market leader in enterprise identity verification solutions. This strategic partnership enriches RocketReach’s database of 190 million verified phone numbers with Trestle’s enterprise-level identity data APIs.

Trestle processes more than 500 million queries monthly, delivering low-latency, real-time identity intelligence. As an organization that values data accuracy over inflated coverage, Trestle is lauded for their leading global phone verification performance.

“RocketReach is setting a new verification standard for every phone number they deliver, and we’re proud to be their verification partner. Contact verification usually stops at whether a number exists, without transparency into the checks really taking place. At Trestle, we pair authoritative identity data and proprietary activity signals to grade the quality of every phone record. Pairing verified data with RocketReach’s industry-leading contact database enables sales, recruiting, and marketing teams to form high-quality connections with confidence.”

— Jordan Reynolds, CRO & Co-founder, Trestle

“Our partnership with Trestle is a huge unlock for RocketReach customers. We’re looking down the barrel of an agentic future, and that future relies heavily on data that’s trusted, verified, and secure. As we prepare to guide our customers through this shift, we can’t be more excited to offer additional phone verification through Trestle. This collaboration strengthens our existing verification process, and allows us to deliver phone grades and filters that boost our customers’ ability to form human connections in an AI era.”

— Scott Kim, CEO, RocketReach

Every phone number, verified

While traditional phone validation tools offer high-level information – such as a phone’s country code, line type category, “valid” or “invalid” status – few enrich phone data with actionable activity scores and quality grading. RocketReach and Trestle’s strategic partnership aims to address this gap by verifying 100% of RocketReach’s phone database. Analysis conducted by RocketReach found that contacts with phone numbers verified by Trestle are twice as likely to result in a successful connection as contacts that have not been verified yet.

In addition to Trestle-verified phone numbers, all RocketReach users have access to key enhancements such as:

New confidence grading for phones (A, A-, B) that automatically remove invalid (F grade) numbersEnriched line types including mobile, direct dial, and office phones – backed by Trestle’s 99+% accuracyEnhanced search filters that surface contacts by mobile, direct dial, or office phone numbersNew phone grade-powered search that allows users to specify a minimum phone gradeExpanded API support for phone grades, line types, and user contact methods

Trusted data for all

Unlike competitors that charge extra for phone verification, RocketReach is committed to delivering verified sales and contact intelligence from day one. New and existing phone numbers in RocketReach will automatically be verified by Trestle at no additional cost. This added layer of verification gives Pro, Ultimate, and Custom RocketReach users immediate access to vetted phone numbers, line types, and confidence grades directly from their accounts.

“Data is the backbone for any business. That’s why we approach verification as the standard, not an add-on gated behind a paywall. By offering instant access to Trestle-verified numbers, we give our customers the autonomy to skip questionable phone numbers and invest more of their time into driving successful connections.”

— Scott Kim, CEO, RocketReach

GSMA: Mobile Industry to Contribute US$1.4 Trillion to APAC Economy by 2030 as Digital Trust, AI, Digital Sovereignty and Resilience Take Centre Stage at M360 ASEAN

Published

on

By

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Aug. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Mobile technologies and services are projected to contribute US$1.4 trillion to the Asia Pacific economy by 2030, a 40% increase from the US$1 trillion generated today, according to the GSMA’s new Mobile Economy Asia Pacific 2026 report.

Released today in Kuala Lumpur ahead of next month’s M360 ASEAN 2026, the report finds that the next phase of digital growth will be shaped not only by connectivity, but by how governments, operators and technology providers respond to four converging priorities: the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI), declining digital trust, demand for more resilient digital infrastructure, and growing interest in digital sovereignty.

Key findings:

5G connections are forecast to reach 1.5 billion by 2030, representing 50% of all mobile connections in Asia Pacific.Operators are expected to invest more than US$200 billion in capital expenditure between 2025 and 2030.The mobile ecosystem supported 18 million jobs across the region in 2025.More than 700 million adults remain offline despite being covered by mobile broadband networks.

Julian Gorman, Head of Asia Pacific, GSMA, said: “The mobile industry is playing an increasingly important role in shaping Asia Pacific’s digital future. As this report shows, economies and societies across the region are becoming increasingly digital, with mobile networks serving as the foundation for AI adoption, digital trust and resilient digital infrastructure. As governments place greater emphasis on digital sovereignty and citizens expect stronger protection from scams, fraud and cyber threats, the responsibilities placed on our industry continue to grow. M360 ASEAN brings together policymakers, industry leaders and innovators to address these challenges, strengthen trust and ensure digital transformation delivers long-term economic and social benefits for everyone.”

Many of the issues highlighted in the report, including AI adoption, digital trust, digital sovereignty, network resilience and digital inclusion, will be explored in depth at M360 ASEAN, taking place in Kuala Lumpur on 9-10 September 2026.
