Finalist for its StorageMAP platform in the Data and Information category.

LEUVEN, Belgium, July 15, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Datadobi, the global leader in heterogeneous unstructured data management, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has selected Datadobi as a 2026 CRN Tech Innovator Awards finalist for its StorageMAP platform in the Data and Information category.

These annual CRN awards spotlight innovative technology vendors in the IT channel. The finalists were selected in 30 distinct technology categories across areas such as cloud, storage, networking and security by a panel of CRN editors after closely reviewing hundreds of vendor entries and solution provider testimonials. They select finalists based on multiple criteria, including key capabilities, uniqueness, technological ingenuity, and ability to address customer and partner technology needs.

StorageMAP is an intelligent orchestration layer that enables enterprises to manage their unstructured data across heterogeneous, multi-vendor, and hybrid-cloud storage environments at scale. By combining deep metadata scanning with policy-driven data mobility, StorageMAP enables organizations to reduce cost and risk, meet governance and compliance requirements, and mobilize the right data sets to prepare for AI initiatives.

As unstructured data volumes continue to grow at an unprecedented rate, StorageMAP equips channel partners with a proven platform to help customers gain visibility into what data they have, where it lives, who owns it, and what it costs and then act on that intelligence to move, migrate, archive, or delete data automatically and at scale.

“The 2026 CRN Tech Innovator Awards finalists represent the most forward-thinking offerings shaping the future of the IT channel,” said Jennifer Follett, Vice President, U.S. Content, Executive Editor, CRN, The Channel Company. “Each finalist brings a clear vision to market, addressing real-world challenges while delivering measurable value to partners and customers alike. We congratulate this year’s finalists on their commitment to innovation, partner success and meaningful impact across the technology ecosystem.”

“Being named a finalist in the 2026 CRN Tech Innovator Awards is a testament to the work our team does every day to help enterprises take control of their unstructured data,” said Michael Jack, CRO and Co-Founder, Datadobi. “For our channel partners, StorageMAP represents a real opportunity: it allows them to lead strategic conversations with customers about cost, risk, and AI readiness, and to deliver measurable value from day one. We are proud to be recognized by CRN alongside the industry’s most innovative vendors.”

2026 Tech Innovator Awards finalists will be spotlighted online at crn.com/techinnovators starting July 13. Winners will be announced online on Aug. 5.

Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC combines its most advanced patented Crusher bass to date with premium Sound by Bose technologies

PARK CITY, Utah, July 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Skullcandy released Crusher 1080 ANC, the most advanced headphone in the brand’s history and a groundbreaking evolution of its fan-favorite patented Crusher franchise. For the first time, Crusher 1080 ANC ($279.99) combines Skullcandy’s multi-sensory Crusher bass with premium Sound by Bose technologies, unlocking a new way to experience audio content.

For years, Skullcandy has built a passionate global fan base around its Crusher technology with a simple idea: music should be felt, not just heard. Crusher uses a dedicated dual-driver system to create a subwoofer-like effect that lets listeners physically feel their music. With its sensory bass technology, Crusher became one of the first truly immersive products in consumer audio.

Now, Skullcandy delivers the most advanced Crusher experience yet. The headphones feature a new driver design that enhances clarity, detail, and separation in the sound resulting in a sharper, more impactful bass response than ever before. Paired with Sound by Bose technologies, they create the ultimate expression of Crusher, a platform where premium sound meets the thrill of physically feeling every single beat.

“Skullcandy is known for pushing the boundaries of bass. For the uninitiated, the Crusher experience is akin to standing front row at your favorite concert. It’s the closest thing to reality,” said Skullcandy CEO Brian Garofalow. “In addition to giving fans the best-ever Crusher experience, we worked with Bose to be the first partner to integrate their noise cancellation, spatial audio, and other Sound by Bose technologies together. We set out to make the world’s greatest headphone by combining the two to deliver an incredible sonic experience for an unbelievable value.”

“For 60 years, Bose has been dedicated to research and engineering better listening experiences that change how people listen to music,” said Nick Smith, president of Bose Audio Technology and Chief Strategy Officer. “We’re excited to bring some of our most advanced audio technologies to Crusher 1080 ANC and hear them paired with Skullcandy’s unique sensory bass platform. This partnership is an exciting example of how Bose innovation can reach more listeners through distinctive new products and experiences.”

At the center of Crusher 1080 ANC is Skullcandy’s patented adjustable Crusher bass technology. Whether using the on-board Crusher wheel or the Skullcandy app, listeners can dial in their preferred bass level, from subtle low-end resonance to bone-rattling sensory impact.

Crusher 1080 ANC is also the very first headphone to offer a full suite of premium Sound by Bose audio technologies including Bose QuietControl 6-mic adaptive Acoustic Noise Cancellation, Bose TrueSpatial with head tracking, and Bose WaveForm Audio Engine.

Bose TrueSpatial technology pairs with Crusher bass to create a multidimensional soundstage that surrounds listeners with detail while preserving the visceral energy Crusher is known for. Bose QuietControl adaptive noise canceling uses multiple microphones and adaptive processing to reduce noise smoothly for a focused listening experience while Bose WaveForm Audio Engine keeps audio full, balanced, and smooth.

Proving premium audio doesn’t have to come with a premium price, Skullcandy delivers Crusher 1080 ANC with Sound by Bose for an accessible $279.99 MSRP. Crusher 1080 ANC is available globally on skullcandy.com and retail locations in four unique colorways: black, candy, primer, and cement.

China-CEEC trade rises 11% in first half, customs data shows

BEIJING, July 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — This is a report from China SCIO

Trade between China and Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) rose 11% year on year to 580.12 billion yuan (US$85.57 billion) in the first half of this year, continuing a 10-year run of growth, a customs official said Tuesday.

The six-month total was 3.7 times the trade value recorded in the first half of 2012, said Lyu Daliang, spokesperson of the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) and director general of the Department of Statistics and Analysis of the GACC, at a press conference.

Lyu said Chinese investment in the region has increasingly driven bilateral trade. Chinese companies have established vehicle production and research facilities in countries including Serbia and Poland, as well as several battery plants in Hungary in recent years.

Trade in vehicles and auto parts between China and CEEC totaled 59.53 billion yuan in the first half, while trade in lithium-ion batteries reached 30.01 billion yuan.

Cooperation has also expanded into artificial intelligence, as Chinese companies and Serbia are jointly developing a humanoid robot production facility, Lyu said.

Infrastructure projects under the Belt and Road Initiative have also boosted trade by improving regional connectivity. Several projects undertaken by Chinese companies in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other countries recently began construction, increasing demand for related Chinese products.

China’s exports associated with overseas contracted projects in the region more than doubled in the first half. Exports of construction machinery and rail transit equipment rose 22.3% and 57.3%, respectively.

The agricultural and food trade also recorded strong growth as the two sides stepped up cooperation on animal and plant quarantine and food safety. More than 130 agricultural and food products from CEEC have been approved for import into China.

Bilateral agricultural trade reached 7.58 billion yuan in the first half, up 16.2% from a year earlier. China’s agricultural imports from the region increased 34.8%, with imports of cocoa products and aquatic products surging 57.6% and 36.8%, respectively.

China’s agricultural exports to the region grew 11.8%. Walnut exports increased 28.3%, while pet food exports rose 13.7%.

China’s customs authorities established the China-CEEC Customs Information Center in April 2021 under the China-CEEC cooperation framework. Over the past five years, customs authorities on both sides have exchanged policy information, monitored trade risks, and provided advisory services to improve trade security and customs clearance.

“We will continue to strengthen cooperation with our counterparts in CEEC and promote the steady and sustained development of economic and trade ties,” Lyu said.
