At the Precision Oncology Academy 2026, leading international experts explored how insights from tumour DNA and RNA can reveal treatment opportunities, explain drug resistance, and translate into more confident treatment decisions to improve cancer care.

An extension of the international K-CONNECT Platform and the recent K-CONNECT Summit 2026 in Vietnam, the Academy brought together oncology experts from the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Malaysia, US and Vietnam. Through scientific lectures, multidisciplinary case discussions and interactive workshops, the programme addressed a central question: How can a deeper understanding of each patient’s cancer lead to more informed treatment decisions?
The Academy’s expert faculty was led by Chairperson Prof. Dr. Ho Gwo Fuang of Curie Oncology, Malaysia, and Co-chairperson Prof. Dr. Darren Lim Wan-Teck of the National Cancer Centre Singapore. Together, the faculty brought expertise spanning clinical oncology, cancer genomics, molecular diagnostics and genomic data interpretation, creating a multidisciplinary forum for translating complex molecular insights into practical clinical decisions.
Decoding the molecular story of cancer
Cancer is not defined solely by its site of origin in the body. Every tumour carries a complex molecular story, written in changes across its DNA and RNA. These changes influence how cancer develops, how it responds to treatment and how it may become resistant over time.
The Academy examined how large genomic and transcriptomic panels comprehensive profiling can provide a broader view of tumour biology. This includes comprehensive multi-omic approaches such as K-4CARE, which combines tissue-based DNA and RNA profiling with liquid biopsy circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) analysis for both molecular profiling and ongoing monitoring. DNA profiling may identify genomic alterations associated with cancer growth and reveal biomarkers linked to targeted therapies, immunotherapies or clinical trials. RNA analysis can detect clinically important gene fusions and splice variants that may be missed or remain unclear through DNA-only testing.
The discussions highlighted the complementary roles of tissue and liquid (plasma) next-generation sequencing. While tissue testing remains essential for initial diagnosis and detailed characterisation, liquid biopsy can capture a wider view of tumour heterogeneity and resistance, particularly at progression. Used together, the two approaches offer clinicians a more complete molecular picture to guide treatment decisions.
The value of tissue and liquid longitudinal molecular profiling was illustrated by Prof. Dr. Darren Lim, who presented a real-world case of a patient with ALK-positive lung cancer managed over several years with serial next-generation sequencing. The case illustrated how repeated molecular profiling — combining tissue and plasma testing — can reveal a broader resistance landscape and support sequential treatment decisions throughout a patient’s journey.
Together, DNA, RNA, and ctDNA insights can provide clinicians with a more comprehensive understanding of the tumour. Molecular testing does not guarantee an actionable finding or suitable treatment, but it may uncover important information that would otherwise remain unseen.
Following cancer as it evolves
The Academy also highlighted the growing role of liquid biopsy in providing a more dynamic and holistic view of cancer.
One of the Academy’s key international speakers, Prof. Dr. Shaheenah Dawood, shared clinical perspectives on the evolving role of minimal residual disease (MRD) and ctDNA monitoring across cancer types. Prof. Dr. Dawood also reviewed the latest ASCO and NCCN guideline updates on liquid biopsy.
While tissue biopsy examines tumour material obtained from a particular location at a particular point in time, liquid biopsy detects cancer-related signals, including ctDNA, in the blood and can be repeated with a single blood draw. Depending on the clinical context and available evidence, liquid biopsy may help clinicians monitor treatment response, investigate emerging resistance or detect molecular signs of MRD. Because it can be performed repeatedly over time, liquid biopsy also offers the potential to follow how a cancer changes throughout treatment.

The speakers emphasized that precision oncology is not simply about testing more genes or generating more data. The real challenge is determining which findings are clinically meaningful for an individual patient.
Not every molecular alteration drives cancer, and not every detected alteration can guide treatment. When a potentially actionable biomarker is identified, clinicians must consider the strength of the supporting evidence, the cancer type, previous treatments, the patient’s overall condition, and the availability of appropriate therapies or clinical trials.
This is why genomic findings must be interpreted together with pathology, medical history, and multidisciplinary clinical expertise.

Policy is enforced on the device itself and every decision is recorded for audit, so protection follows each device on or off the corporate network.
AALBORG, Denmark, Aug. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Admin By Request has announced the launch of Web Access Management, the newest product on its Zero Trust Platform. The solution gives security teams centralized control over which browsers, websites, and executable downloads are permitted on managed endpoints, with policy enforced on the device itself and every decision recorded for audit.
Web Access Management is the company’s third product, joining Endpoint Privilege Management and Secure Remote Access. All three operate through a single lightweight agent and a centralized management portal.
A Platform Built in Stages
Admin By Request established itself with Endpoint Privilege Management, a solution that removes standing local admin rights and replaces them with just-in-time, fully audited privilege elevation. The approach allows users to perform trusted everyday tasks while giving IT departments a complete audit trail and automated approval workflows. The endpoint agent supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, and now accounts for active deployments exceeding 80,000 endpoints.
Secure Remote Access extended the same approval-driven model to remote connectivity. It provides IT staff, remote workers, and third-party vendors with browser-based, just-in-time access to internal systems, removing the standing exposure associated with traditional VPNs and jump servers. Each session is scoped, logged, and available for optional recording.
Web Access Management addresses the application in which users spend most of their working day, and the one most frequently used to deliver malware: the web browser.
Enforcement at the Endpoint
Conventional web security tools operate in the network path, inspecting traffic as it travels to the internet. That model depends on users connecting through a controlled inspection point, an assumption that does not hold for remote workers and contractors on unmanaged networks. Web Access Management instead enforces policy directly on the endpoint through the agent that Endpoint Privilege Management customers already run, so protection follows the device regardless of location and requires no proxy, DNS filter, or firewall changes.
Rather than inspecting traffic alone, the product governs the full range of browsing and download activity from the central portal. Administrators set policy over:
Which browsers users may run, and at which minimum versionsWhich websites are permitted, blocked, or subject to approvalWhether executable downloads are allowed, require approval, require a stated business reason, or are denied outrightWhether MFA or Intune compliance is required before a download is releasedWhether downloads are restricted to the device owner
When a user attempts a download, the agent holds the file and evaluates it against these rules, along with malware scanning through OPSWAT MetaDefender, before releasing the original file to the user. Enforcement does not depend on a cloud gateway remaining available.
To prevent policy from impeding productivity, trusted activity is cleared automatically. Administrators can pre-approve downloads by source, checksum, or vendor certificate, while AI and machine learning approve well-established software without manual review. Routine downloads proceed without intervention, and only unusual requests are escalated to an administrator.
Unified Management
Web Access Management uses the same sub-settings model as the rest of the platform, allowing a global baseline policy to coexist with stricter rules for individual groups. A finance team may require approval and MFA for every download while IT operates from a broader pre-approved list, with no additional deployments or separate tenants. For existing Endpoint Privilege Management customers, no new installation is required: the product runs on the existing agent, is managed from the same portal, and uses established approval workflows.

Armadin and TENEX.ai Run the Largest Controlled Live AI Cyberattack on Record

A joint engagement at a globally critical institution demonstrates continuous, machine-speed attack and response, the standard most organizations have not built and the one Armadin and TENEX.ai already run every day.
PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Armadin, an AI-native cybersecurity company, and TENEX.ai, a fully-agentic, human-led security operations provider, today described a joint engagement to test a safe real-world global attack for a leading global institution.
Armadin’s autonomous, agentic attacker executed a safe AI attack across the entire external perimeter, internal network, and web applications. TENEX.ai‘s agentic platform and SOC ingested, triaged, and responded to the resulting telemetry in real time.
Over the course of the three day attack, Armadin’s swarm generated 17 million offensive actions, discovering 38 validated attack paths and producing 238 security findings. TENEX.ai’s agentic Security Operations platform separately triaged 100% of 101,169 alerts and reconstructed the entire attack across 231 billion raw events – a forensic effort that would have taken a five-person team approximately 2,400 hours or four months of manual analyst work.

How it Worked
Armadin’s agentic swarm operated against the institution’s external perimeter, internal network, and web applications under zero-knowledge conditions. No privileged credentials. No control-point whitelisting. No source code access.
The swarm discovered and analyzed petabytes of attack surface reconnaissance data, indexed it into a security knowledge graph, then launched 26,000 agents against the environment. Each attack leveraged models trained with the expertise, tradecraft, and judgment of elite human operators, chaining discovered exposures into validated attack paths with the sophistication of an advanced threat actor. Every action the swarm took ran through Armadin’s control layer with supervision from a safety model trained with expert human feedback.
TENEX.ai’s SOC ingested the resulting activity through its detection stack, correlated and triaged the alerts it generated, and escalated based on analyst judgment rather than a pre-agreed response plan.
Neither side treated the other as a test to pass. Armadin’s agents adapted their tradecraft based on the defensive controls they encountered. TENEX.ai’s analysts investigated and escalated based on what the telemetry showed – not a script agreed in advance.
What the Swarm Found
Armadin’s swarm launched 1,300 attacks, carried out by 26,000 agents executing millions of actions and consuming tens of billions of tokens, targeting more than 25,000 services.
The engagement began at the institution’s external perimeter. Armadin’s swarm targeted the perimeter and identified exploitable access to the institution’s systems behind a defensive security deployment that included WAFs, endpoint security, and a Security Operations Center. Over the course of the engagement, Armadin documented 238 findings and chained 38 validated attack paths. 98 of those findings were significant. Armadin’s swarm is built to enumerate this class of exposure because it maps the actual, deployed dependency graph rather than relying on a static software bill of materials. That is the pattern most vulnerability management programs are not yet built to catch, because it does not read like a vulnerability in the traditional sense. It reads like ordinary engineering practice, right up until someone exploits it.
What TENEX.AI saw
During the exercise, TENEX.ai triaged all 101,169 alerts generated across the institution’s security stack. Human analysts remained accountable for every investigative and escalation decision, while TENEX.ai agents traced the attacker’s activity across 231 billion events, reconstructed 38 attack paths, assembled supporting evidence, and delivered evidence-backed findings for action. The scale of the investigation highlights the challenge facing modern Security Operations Centers. Attacker activity represented just one event in every 13,338 recorded during the engagement. TENEX.ai processed the entire data set while analysts directed the investigation and AI agents generated and executed queries, identified pivot points, gathered evidence, and synthesized the results.
The outcome was not a high-level summary. TENEX.ai produced evidence-backed determinations for all 238 findings. For each finding, the platform documented the attacker’s actions, the affected endpoint, whether the activity could be proven from available telemetry, which existing detections identified it, and what additional detection logic would be required. Each finding was classified across 31 dimensions, including mappings to MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Top 10, and CWE where applicable. The platform also performed 31 documented verification checks, recording both positive and negative results so that visibility gaps were documented rather than assumed away.
Under a traditional SOC model, each of the 38 attack paths would typically require a separate investigation. Instead, TENEX.ai established every finding from evidence, correlated 2,164 distinct source addresses across 89 alerting rules related to the attacker infrastructure, and completed the investigation as a single coordinated operation. Every conclusion was evidence-based. Based on the scope of the investigation, performing the same work manually would have required approximately 2,400 analyst-hours – more than a year of effort for a single analyst or roughly four months for a five-person team.

The institution in this engagement proactively engaged in the critical work of testing their environment against an AI Hyperattack.
