Growatt Launches MINA: A Smart All-in-One Home Energy Storage System for Residential Solar Markets

Published

on

SHENZHEN, China, Aug. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Growatt, a global leading provider of distributed energy solutions, has announced the launch of MINA, a new single-phase all-in-one home energy storage system designed to help homeowners store, manage and use solar energy more intelligently. Built for modern residential solar applications, MINA combines battery storage, backup power, smart energy management and flexible expansion in one compact solution.

As residential solar adoption continues to grow globally, homeowners are looking for more practical ways to increase solar self-consumption, reduce reliance on the grid and manage changing electricity costs. In many regions, evolving feed-in tariffs, time-of-use electricity pricing and rising demand for energy independence are making home battery storage an increasingly important part of rooftop solar systems.

MINA is designed to address these needs by storing excess solar energy generated during the day and making it available for use in the evening, at night or during peak electricity price periods. This helps homeowners maximise the value of their rooftop solar power while improving control over household energy use.

The system integrates hybrid inverter technology, modular battery storage, backup power support and intelligent monitoring into a streamlined all-in-one design. By combining key residential energy storage functions into one system, MINA helps reduce installation complexity, improve system appearance and provide a simpler experience for both installers and homeowners.

One of MINA’s key advantages is its battery optimiser technology, which enables smarter battery module management. In conventional battery systems, overall performance can be affected by differences between battery modules, such as different charge levels, usage histories or ageing conditions. MINA’s battery optimiser helps each module operate more efficiently, reducing the impact of module mismatch and supporting more flexible battery expansion over time.

This makes MINA especially suitable for households whose energy needs may change in the future. Homeowners can start with a battery configuration that fits their current electricity consumption and expand later as demand grows due to additional appliances, electric vehicles, home offices or stronger backup power requirements.

MINA also supports backup power for essential household loads during grid outages. With fast switching capability, the system can help maintain power for selected appliances such as lighting, refrigeration, Wi-Fi, home office equipment and other important household devices. For homeowners seeking greater energy resilience, MINA provides additional peace of mind.

For markets such as Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and other European countries, MINA offers a future-ready solution for changing residential energy needs. Its smart energy management and time-of-use control help households adapt to variable electricity prices and changing solar export policies by using stored solar energy when it is needed most.

The system is also designed with installer efficiency in mind. Its all-in-one architecture helps reduce wiring complexity, while smart monitoring and diagnostic capabilities support easier commissioning, system management and maintenance. Through Growatt’s intelligent monitoring platform, homeowners and installers can view solar generation, battery status, energy consumption and system performance in real time.

“MINA reflects Growatt’s commitment to making clean energy smarter, simpler and more accessible for homes around the world,” said Lisa Zhang, VP at Growatt. “With its all-in-one design, battery optimiser technology and flexible expansion capability, MINA gives homeowners greater control over their energy use while helping installers deliver a more efficient and future-ready storage solution.”

With the launch of MINA, Growatt continues to strengthen its residential energy storage portfolio and support the global transition toward smarter, more sustainable home energy systems. Combining intelligent design, flexible battery management and practical backup capability, MINA offers a scalable solution for homeowners seeking energy independence in a changing electricity landscape.

DHAKA, Bangladesh, Aug. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On Aug. 1, the 2026 TAILG Bangladesh Dealers Conference was successfully held at ICCB(International Convention City Bashundhara) in Dhaka under the theme “TOGETHER GO FURTHER. TOGETHER WE WIN.”

Lin Peng, TAILG South Asia Regional Director, members of EDiSON Group’s core management team, and more than 300 local dealers, partners and media guests attended the event to discuss opportunities in Bangladesh’s electric two-wheeler market.

The conference featured core technology showcases, localized product launches, channel policy updates, strategic partnership signings and recognition of outstanding dealers. These sessions highlighted TAILG’s product strength and local operating capabilities, while reinforcing its commitment to expanding in South Asia and deepening localization in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh has strong demand for two-wheeled mobility across commuting, cargo transport and commercial delivery. Rising fuel costs, growing urban traffic pressure and increasing interest in greener transportation are creating new opportunities for electric two-wheelers.

To address local needs such as challenging road conditions, frequent daily use and limited charging access, TAILG presented its sodium-ion battery and super-fast charging technologies. The sodium-ion battery offers strong safety, durability and environmental adaptability, while the super-fast charging system can reach 80% charge in 30 minutes, reducing charging time and improving vehicle utilization.

TAILG also launched three locally tailored models: the T53, T72L and F73L. The T53 is equipped with a sodium-ion battery for high-frequency commuting and cargo use. The T72L features a 76V32Ah lithium iron phosphate battery for enhanced safety and long cycle life, together with 14-inch tires for improved road adaptability. The F73L adopts a removable lithium battery, a high-brightness headlight and a CBS (combined braking system), offering greater charging flexibility and riding safety.

Developed around local road conditions, charging environments and user habits, the three models expand TAILG’s product portfolio in Bangladesh and reflect the brand’s focus on localized mobility needs.

During the conference, multiple local partners signed cooperation agreements with TAILG, while outstanding dealers were recognized for their market contributions.

TAILG will continue to strengthen its presence in Bangladesh through technology-driven products, localized channels and improved sales and after-sales services, working with local partners to deliver safer, more efficient and more reliable electric mobility solutions.

Singapore Startup Genie Health Launches Personal Health Intelligence Platform for Consumers and Healthcare Providers

Published

on

By

SINGAPORE, Aug. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As people live longer and chronic conditions become increasingly common, managing health has quietly become more complex than ever before. Consumers now juggle medical reports, health screenings, wearable devices, medications and advice from multiple providers, yet much of this information remains fragmented and difficult to understand. At the same time, healthcare providers face growing administrative burdens as they manage expanding volumes of patient data alongside rising demand for care.

Singapore health tech company Genie Health launched two AI-driven solutions:

1. Genie – a personal health guide that helps people organise, understand and manage their health.

2. Genie SmartCare, a provider-focused agentic AI platform designed to transform patient engagement and health information into meaningful intelligence.

Together, Genie and Genie SmartCare combine to form a two-sided health intelligence platform, built for Singapore. By connecting consumers and healthcare providers, they transform fragmented health information into meaningful intelligence—helping people better understand their health while enabling providers to deliver more personalised, efficient care.

From Health Data to Health Intelligence

Genie Health is built on a simple belief: health data is only valuable when it helps people make better decisions.

For consumers
For consumers, Genie is a personal health guide. It consolidates medical reports, wearable data, and family history into a single, secure health locker. By identifying meaningful trends and answering personalized questions, it proactively guides members on their daily health journey.

For healthcare providers
For healthcare providers, SmartCare transforms fragmented patient information into actionable clinical intelligence. By automating patient engagement, interpreting reports, and generating clinical summaries, it significantly reduces administrative workflows, allowing healthcare teams to spend more time on patient care.

Connecting Both Sides of Healthcare

Most digital health products focus on either consumers or healthcare providers. Genie Health believes the greatest opportunity lies in connecting both sides of the healthcare ecosystem.

By combining persistent consumer health profiles with intelligent provider workflows, the platform aims to improve continuity of care, reduce administrative burden and enable more personalised healthcare experiences over time.

“People don’t need more health data. They need help understanding it and knowing what changes they can make to improve their health,” said Hari V. Krishnan, Co-founder and CEO of Genie Health.

“Every day, consumers collect more information about their health while providers spend more time managing it. Our goal is to transform fragmented health information into meaningful intelligence that helps people make better decisions and enables clinicians to deliver better care.”

Built for Singapore

Genie Health has been developed and tested in collaboration with Singapore consumers and healthcare providers over the past year, resulting in a platform designed specifically for the needs of Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem.

The company believes that moving healthcare beyond episodic interactions towards continuous, personalised health guidance represents one of the most important opportunities for AI in healthcare. By maintaining a persistent health profile that evolves over time, Genie aims to help people become more proactive about their health while giving providers richer context to support better clinical decisions.

The Genie app is now available free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in Singapore, while Genie SmartCare is available to healthcare providers across Singapore.
