C&G Environmental Protection (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Awarded Triple Recognition for Creating Healthier, Greener, and More Inclusive Communities

Published

on

SINGAPORE, Aug. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The 2026 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) organised by Enterprise Asia has recognized C&G Environmental Protection (Thailand) Co., Ltd. across three categories for its outstanding contributions to regional sustainability, reflecting its commitment to improving quality of life through environmental stewardship, community well-being, and educational development. The company was recognized for its ‘Green Walkway & Jogging Track Project’ under the Green Leadership category, ‘Clean Drinking Water Station Project for the Public: Phet Kasem 77’ program under the Health Promotion category, and ‘Project Makeover “Waste-to-Energy: Painting Colors, Fulfilling Dreams, and Developing Schools for Children”‘ under the Social Empowerment category.

As one of Thailand’s leading waste-to-energy operators, C&G believes sustainability extends beyond renewable energy generation. Guided by its philosophy of ‘Creating Value, Developing the Environment’, the company continuously invests in initiatives that create tangible benefits for communities while promoting environmental responsibility and social progress.

A key example is the ‘Green Walkway & Jogging Track Project’ developed in collaboration with the Nong Khaem District Office. Through the donation of 1,600 interlocking paving blocks and the creation of a green corridor along Phet Kasem Road, the initiative transformed underutilized urban spaces into safe and attractive areas for exercise and recreation. The project also contributes to improved air quality, carbon absorption, and reduced urban heat, helping create a healthier environment for local residents.

Complementing these efforts, C&G launched the ‘Clean Drinking Water Station Project’ at the Phet Kasem 77 “15-Minute Park”, providing free access to safe drinking water while enhancing surrounding green spaces. The initiative has improved public convenience, encouraged healthier lifestyles, and contributed to a reduction in single-use plastic waste as visitors increasingly refill reusable containers.

Beyond environmental and health initiatives, C&G continues to invest in the future generation through Project Makeover, a school renovation program supporting underserved educational institutions. By upgrading facilities, improving safety, and creating inspiring learning environments, the initiative has helped enhance student confidence, motivation, and opportunities for academic and extracurricular achievement.

Together, these initiatives demonstrate C&G’s holistic approach to sustainability—one that balances environmental protection, public health, and social development. Through continued collaboration with communities and stakeholders, the company remains committed to creating lasting positive impact and building cleaner, greener, and more inclusive communities for generations to come.

Best Graphic Design Software for Print and Production Work (2026): CorelDRAW Recognized for Print-Friendly, Production-Ready Workflows by Better Business Advice

Published

on

By

NEW YORK, Aug. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Better Business Advice has recognized CorelDRAW in a review of the best graphic design software for print and production work. The recognition highlights a production-centered workflow built for print shops, sign shops, apparel decorators, screen printers, in-house marketing teams, and professional designers.

Best Graphic Design Software for Print and Production Work:

CorelDRAW – provides professional design and production tools designed to help print shops prepare artwork, manage color, work at accurate scale, repair client files, and export production-ready assets.

The review focuses on the practical stages between creative development and final output. Print production often requires accurate dimensions, controlled color, clean source files, organized pages, and dependable exports. CorelDRAW brings those tasks together within a professional graphics suite designed to support both design and production preparation.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 also introduces AI-assisted tools, interface updates, and performance improvements. The release strengthens image preparation and everyday usability while maintaining an emphasis on professional print, signage, apparel, technical drawing, and commercial production workflows.

Production Tools for Real-World Output

CorelDRAW supports design work at a true 1:1 scale, a key consideration for banners, vehicle graphics, storefront signs, and billboards. Working at actual output dimensions can help production teams verify measurements earlier and reduce reliance on reduced-scale documents during final preparation.

Color preparation remains another central part of the workflow. CorelDRAW includes a color management engine, CMYK color separations, soft proofing, and integrated Pantone Color Libraries. These tools support informed color decisions before artwork reaches a printer, screen, or other output process.

Soft proofing previews how colors may appear under selected output conditions. Color separations prepare artwork for processes requiring individual color plates or screens. Integrated Pantone access supports spot-color workflows used in signage, packaging, branding, and apparel decoration.

Large-format production can place heavy demands on file handling. CorelDRAW is designed to manage large documents while preserving precise sizing and editable content. Multi-asset export allows pages and objects to be added to a customized export list, helping teams prepare several deliverables from one working file.

Specialized Features for Print Shops and Sign Makers

Several CorelDRAW tools address tasks commonly handled by print and sign businesses.

The Border and Grommet tool prepares canvas banner artwork by adding customizable borders and grommet placements. A dedicated setup process can reduce manual repetition when preparing recurring banner jobs or multiple size variations.

Print Merge supports personalized print materials using data from external sources. Sequential numbering, variable text, QR codes, and other customized elements can be generated directly within CorelDRAW. Common applications include labels, tickets, certificates, event materials, and numbered print runs.

The Pages docker or inspector provides a true multipage layout environment. Brochures, menus, product sheets, signage sets, and campaign materials can remain organized within one document. Pages can be viewed, rearranged, duplicated, and transferred between documents as requirements change.

The Export docker or inspector provides centralized control over formats, pages, selections, and output settings. A production team can prepare full pages, selected objects, or specific page ranges without rebuilding each export manually. This approach can improve consistency across multiple file types or production versions.

Repairing Client Artwork Before Production

Print shops frequently receive low-resolution logos, compressed JPEG files, flattened graphics, and images with unwanted backgrounds. CorelDRAW includes bitmap-editing tools within the main application, while Corel PHOTO-PAINT provides further control for image correction and pixel-based editing.

Available functions include straightening, perspective correction, color adjustment, saturation control, resampling, color-mode changes, and background removal. Keeping common bitmap tasks close to the layout can reduce interruptions during production preparation.

PowerTRACE converts bitmap images into editable vector graphics. AI-enhanced tracing controls can help preserve detail from lower-resolution source material, giving production teams a stronger starting point for logo recreation, signage, fabrication, and apparel graphics. Traced artwork can then be cleaned, resized, recolored, and adapted for different output formats.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 adds one-click AI background removal and AI-assisted masking in Corel PHOTO-PAINT. These features can help isolate products, people, and design elements for layouts, mockups, or print compositions. AI Generate and Remix Image can also support concept development and image modification before final production work begins.

A Broader Workflow for Apparel, Marketing, and Technical Design

The same production foundation extends into apparel and textile workflows. Screen-printing teams can prepare color separations and review designs through soft proofing before film or final output. Editable graphics and spot-color support can also assist direct-to-garment, embroidery, merchandise, and textile production.

In-house marketing teams can use CorelDRAW for logos, brochures, posters, product sheets, point-of-sale materials, digital assets, and multipage collateral. Graphic design, page layout, photo editing, typography, and font management remain connected within the same suite, supporting faster movement between concept, revision, approval, and delivery.

Technical drawing tools broaden the software’s use across engineering, manufacturing, construction, and fabrication. Perspective controls support one-point, two-point, and three-point drawing. Fillet, Scallop, and Chamfer tools provide editable corner treatments for technical artwork and production shapes.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 also includes a refreshed interface, smoother font handling, smarter page and export settings, improved stability, and app launch times reported at around three times faster or more. These changes are relevant where large files, repeated revisions, and frequent exports are part of daily work.

Purchasing Choice and Final Assessment

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is available through subscription and one-time-purchase options. The choice allows businesses to select an approach based on update needs, budgeting preferences, cloud access, and long-term software ownership.

Subscription access includes ongoing updates, cloud-enabled workflows, CorelDRAW Web, cloud file storage, additional creative content, and recurring AI credits. One-time-purchase access provides ownership of a specific version and a one-time AI credit allocation. A 15-day trial is available without a credit card and includes 200 AI credits, allowing businesses to evaluate production workflow before committing.

Better Business Advice’s recognition centers on the connection between creative work and practical output. CorelDRAW supports artwork creation, but the broader value appears in the preparation stages that follow. Accurate scaling, color management, soft proofing, separations, multipage organization, variable-data printing, client-file repair, and flexible exports all contribute to a production-ready workflow.

For print shops and related production teams, software selection often depends on how efficiently artwork moves from an initial file to dependable final output. CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 addresses that process through tools designed for real production conditions, making the suite a notable option for professional print and production work in 2026.

Bybit Sues North Korea and Lazarus Group, Secures Preliminary Injunction Freezing Stolen Assets in Landmark Crypto Asset Recovery Effort

Published

By

Lawsuit accuses North Korea and Lazarus Group of orchestrating the $1.5 billion theft, as court-ordered asset freeze supports recovery efforts and  Bybit expands collaboration with law enforcement and industry partners to strengthen accountability for crypto-related cybercrime

DUBAI, UAE, Aug. 8, 2026 /CNW/ — Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, today announced that it has filed a civil lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), its Reconnaissance General Bureau (RGB), and the Lazarus Group, which U.S. authorities have identified as the DPRK-linked hacking group responsible for the February 2025 cyberattack.

Bybit has also secured a preliminary injunction freezing identified stolen assets held by the unidentified individuals and entities holding or moving those funds, named in the case as John Doe defendants. The order is intended to preserve identified stolen digital assets while the litigation continues, representing an important step in Bybit’s ongoing efforts to recover funds, support international law enforcement investigations, and reinforce accountability for large-scale cybercrime. Indeed, the court found that “Bybit has demonstrated a likelihood of success on the merits” in its lawsuit.

The legal action forms part of a broader strategy combining blockchain intelligence, international cooperation, and judicial remedies to pursue the illicit actors responsible for what the court, in granting the initial temporary restraining order, described as “one of the largest cryptocurrency thefts in history.” While criminal investigations remain the responsibility of government authorities, the civil proceedings provide an additional avenue for preserving assets and protecting the interests of affected stakeholders.

“Our focus has never changed: protect our users first, recover what we can, and make sure the people behind these attacks are held accountable,” said Ben Zhou, Co-founder and CEO of Bybit. “The Lazarus attack wasn’t just an attack on Bybit. It was an attack on trust in our industry. That’s why we’ve worked closely with investigators, exchanges, regulators, law enforcement, and now the courts. We hope this marks another step toward making crypto a much harder place for criminals to operate in and  a much safer place for everyone else.”

Strengthening Accountability Through Legal Action

The preliminary injunction prohibits the transfer or dissipation of identified assets connected to the case while litigation continues. Bybit intends to seek additional judicial relief as the proceedings advance.

The civil action is being pursued independently of ongoing criminal investigations conducted by U.S. law enforcement authorities. Bybit continues to cooperate closely with relevant agencies, including the FBI, by sharing blockchain intelligence and investigative findings that may support broader enforcement efforts.

As digital assets increasingly become a target of sophisticated cross-border cybercrime, the company believes legal remedies, alongside criminal enforcement, can play an important role in preserving recoverable assets and strengthening accountability.

Global Collaboration Driving Asset Recovery

Since the February 2025 incident, Bybit has worked alongside blockchain analytics firms, exchanges, custodians, and international law enforcement agencies to trace stolen assets and disrupt laundering networks.

To date:

Approximately US$48.4 million in stolen assets has been recovered.Over approximately US$30.5 million has been frozen across more than 28 exchanges and custodians, pending further legal and investigative action.

These efforts have also supported broader enforcement actions targeting infrastructure allegedly used to launder stolen funds. Authorities in Germany dismantled the cryptocurrency exchange eXch, while German and Swiss authorities later disrupted Cryptomixer.io, removing key channels used to move illicit proceeds. Together, these actions demonstrate the impact of effective cooperation between the private sector and law enforcement in combating transnational cybercrime.

“The real test comes after the crisis,” Ben added. “That’s when you show whether your commitment is real. For us, that means continuing to strengthen our security, working hand in hand with investigators and industry partners, and doing everything we can to protect our users. Trust isn’t something you claim. You have to earn it through action, every single day.”

Building a More Resilient Digital Asset Ecosystem

The legal proceedings represent one component of Bybit’s broader commitment to improving security standards across the cryptocurrency industry. The company continues to invest in advanced blockchain intelligence capabilities, deepen cooperation with exchanges and regulators, and support initiatives aimed at making digital asset theft increasingly difficult, traceable and costly for criminal organisations.

This action reflects Bybit’s commitment to holding state-sponsored threat actors accountable and using all available legal avenues, both civil and in cooperation with law enforcement, to disrupt cybercrime targeting the digital asset industry.

The civil proceedings remain ongoing. Bybit will continue to cooperate with relevant authorities and provide updates as permitted by the court.

FancyAI Launches Agentic Social Engagement to Shape AI Recommendations

Published

New GEO capability finds the third-party conversations AI engines trust and gives brands a direct way to act on them, in real time.

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — FancyAI, the execution layer for AI discovery, today launched Agentic Social Engagement, a new capability that identifies the third-party conversations shaping how AI engines understand and recommend brands.

Teams can assess and join those conversations directly inside FancyAI, then measure how their AI visibility changes.

When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Claude what to buy, the answer often draws on sources the brand doesn’t control. Independent reviews, Reddit threads, YouTube videos, Quora answers and other public discussions can all influence which brands make the shortlist.

The scale of that influence is significant. A recent study of more than 200 million prompts found that Reddit appeared in 20% or more of Perplexity responses at points during January and February 2026.

No amount of on-site optimization reaches those conversations.

Until now, most Generative Engine Optimization work has centered on the content a brand publishes and the authority it earns through media. Agentic Social Engagement extends that work to the live, third-party conversations AI engines use as evidence.

“AI doesn’t rank pages. It recommends brands, and it builds those recommendations from what other people say about you,” said Tom Howell, co-founder and CEO of FancyAI. “You can perfect every page you own and still lose a shortlist that’s being decided somewhere else. Agentic Social Engagement puts your team in those conversations.”

Traditional social listening starts with keywords and ends with a feed of mentions. FancyAI’s Agentic Social Engagement works differently. An AI agent reads each conversation in context, assesses its relevance to the business and determines whether it deserves attention.

A prospective customer may be asking for a recommendation. A competitor may be winning the discussion. A reputation issue may be emerging. A category trend may be taking shape. The agent cuts through the noise and shows teams what matters.

Each prioritized conversation appears inside FancyAI alongside recommendation intelligence, visibility tracking, citation building and content execution. Teams can see whether AI engines already cite the underlying page and respond without leaving the platform. The right move might be direct engagement, a factual correction, an earned mention, a new piece of content or no action at all.

FancyAI then measures what changed.

“Listening tools tell you a conversation happened. We tell you where the decision is taking shape,” Howell said. “The agent finds the signal and gives the team a direct path to act. Discovery is no longer about being seen. It’s about being selected.”

Agentic Social Engagement is available this week to current FancyAI customers and as an add-on for new customers. Teams can operate the capability themselves or have FancyAI’s strategists run it for them.
