Both keep the ear canal open, helping users stay connected to their music, calls, and surroundings.

As more consumers look for audio products that can keep pace with both active and everyday routines, Shokz continues to innovate across every level of its portfolio. “OpenRun Air 2 and OpenFit Air 2 reflect our continued commitment to making open-ear listening more accessible,” said Vincent Xiong, CEO of Shokz North America. “By thoughtfully evolving these models, we can make movement feel open, comfortable and effortless for even more people.”

OpenFit Air 2 and OpenRun Air 2 expand the Shokz lineup with lighter, more compact open-ear designs for active and everyday routines.

OpenRun Air 2: Lightweight Comfort Built for Every Run and Adventure
Designed for everyday runners, cyclists, and outdoor adventurers, OpenRun Air 2 refines Shokz’s signature bone conduction sports headphones with improved ergonomics and upgraded performance. More than 9% smaller than OpenRun and weighing just 26.4 g, OpenRun Air 2 delivers a lighter, lower-profile fit that stays secure across a range of activities, from casual runs to lengthy hikes.

Its redesigned ear hooks follow the natural curve of the ear, helping distribute pressure more evenly, while a forward-shifted center of gravity minimizes bounce during movement. Durable memory alloy in the unibody ear hooks and neckband further enhances stability, while the open-ear design allows users to stay aware of traffic and their surroundings.  Powered by PremiumPitch™ 3.0, OpenRun Air 2 features an upgraded bone conduction driver with an all-metal, dual-coil, dual-reed structure engineered to deliver richer bass, greater vocal detail, and a more balanced listening experience than OpenRun. Through the Shokz App, users can personalize their sound with four preset EQ modes and two custom EQ profiles.

Ready for daily runs, bike rides, and outdoor adventures, OpenRun Air 2 offers up to 10 hours of listening time on a single charge, 25% longer than OpenRun, with a 5-minute Quick Charge delivering up to two hours of playback. An IP67 dust- and water-resistance rating helps protect against sweat and rain, while the USB-C charging port adds convenience for daily use. OpenRun Air 2 also features physical buttons for precise control and AI-powered noise reduction microphone for clearer calls, even in windy conditions. OpenRun Air 2 is available in Black and Ice Blue in both Standard and Mini sizes.

OpenFit Air 2: The Lightest OpenFit Yet
For users who want the freedom of true wireless earbuds without the pressure or sealed feeling of an in-ear design, OpenFit Air 2 builds on the original OpenFit Air with improved comfort, stability, and portability for workouts and everyday wear. Weighing just 7.2 g per earbud, OpenFit Air 2 is the lightest product in the OpenFit family, delivering an effortless fit designed for all-day wear. The redesigned charging case is 10.5% smaller, while the earbuds and charging case together are 17.6% lighter than the previous generation, making OpenFit Air 2 easier to carry from the gym through the rest of the day.

Its refined ear hook curve and 0.75 mm Ni-Ti alloy frame balance flexibility and support, keeping the earbuds securely in place through HIIT sessions, gym workouts, walks, commutes, and daily listening. The open-ear design reduces ear canal pressure and heat buildup, creating a breathable fit for extended wear.

OpenFit Air 2 features Shokz’s patented Bassphere™ driver and OpenBass™ 2.0 algorithm to deliver fuller, more dynamic sound in a compact design. Bassphere™ uses a dual-driver system to enhance low-frequency performance, while OpenBass™ 2.0 adds greater depth and texture. A 30° angled speaker directs sound toward the ear for a more natural listening experience, while DirectPitch™ Technology reduces sound leakage so users can enjoy audio with more privacy. Through the Shokz App, users can personalize their sound with four preset EQ modes and two custom EQ profiles.

Built for everyday convenience, OpenFit Air 2 provides up to 8 hours of listening time on a single charge and up to 36 hours with the charging case, while a 10-minute quick charge provides up to three hours of playback. Upgraded pressure-sensitive controls help reduce accidental inputs caused by sweat, water droplets, or stray hair, while a dual-microphone system with AI noise reduction keeps calls clear in cafés, gyms, and other busy environments. Additional features include IP55 sweat and water resistance for the earbuds, Bluetooth® 6.1, Multipoint Pairing, Fast Pair™, Swift Pair, customizable controls, and Find My Earbuds through the Shokz App. OpenFit Air 2 is available in Black, White and Ice Blue.

FDB Moves Ambient Listening Beyond Notes with AI-Powered Prescribing Agent

First commercial deployment of FDB Script Agent™ with Tebra converts ambient encounter dialogue into structured prescriptions for clinician review, grounded in trusted medication intelligence

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — FDB (First Databank, Inc.), the leading provider of clinically robust, AI-enabled medication intelligence that helps healthcare professionals make precise medication decisions and streamline medication workflows, today announced the first commercial deployment of FDB Script Agent™, an AI prescribing agent that turns patient-visit dialogue into structured prescriptions ready for clinician review. The deployment with Tebra, an all-in-one technology platform for independent healthcare practices, brings FDB’s trusted medication intelligence into the ambient clinical workflow with clinical validation and terminology codification rather than simple NLP.

Script Agent uses FDB’s dose-appropriate medication intelligence to transform encounter dialogue into structured, evidence-based prescriptions for clinician review. Clinicians can modify or approve each prescription before it is sent. Due to its clinical grounding, the agent avoids hazards of simple NLP alone and will not stage prescriptions that fall outside normal prescribing practice without a clinician override.

Ambient AI has significantly reduced documentation burden by turning patient conversations into clinical notes, but prescribing often remains a manual task during or after the visit, and physician expectations are rising. FDB Script Agent extends ambient AI automation beyond documentation into prescribing by interpreting physician intent from the encounter and assembling the codified prescription elements needed by the EHR.

Tebra integrated Script Agent into its Tebra AI Note Assist, Tebra’s AI-powered clinical documentation workflow for independent ambulatory practices.

“Prescribing is one of the most important moments in care, but it still buries clinicians in administrative work,” said David Delaney, MD, president of FDB. “By capturing prescriptions directly from the ambient exam-room conversation and grounding them in FDB’s trusted medication intelligence, Script Agent turns that dialogue into a structured prescription ready for review. This lowers the administrative burden of prescribing while keeping clinicians in control.”

Early Tebra users report the AI Note Assist feature using Script Agent is intuitive and reduces prescribing-related administrative effort while preserving confidence in the review process.

“Independent practices are being asked to do more with fewer resources, and every minute spent on administrative work is time taken away from patient care,” said Kyle Ryan, Tebra chief product and technology officer. “We’re excited to partner with FDB to deliver AI-powered prescription review that simplifies prescribing workflows and reduces operational burden. These capabilities, as well as FDB’s trusted, clinically validated content, drove our decision to collaborate and help advance Tebra’s broader mission of equipping independent providers with advanced technology to make everyday healthcare operations more efficient and effective.”

Script Agent also supports FDB’s broader prescription intelligence strategy. Once a clinician approves a prescription, FDB Vela™, FDB’s cloud-native ePrescribing network, can help carry it through the next steps of the medication journey, connecting prescribers, payers, pharmacies and patients.

The Tebra deployment of Script Agent marks the first step in FDB’s broader roadmap for AI-powered prescription intelligence, designed to reduce administrative burden while keeping clinicians at the center of prescribing.

Yembo has completed its CMMC 2.0 Level 2 self-assessment, enabling moving and storage partners to meet upcoming federal cybersecurity mandates and protect their military relocation revenues well ahead of the 2027 deadline.

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Yembo, Inc. today announced that its virtual inspection platform has completed a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 Level 2 self-assessment, enabling moving and storage companies to protect their military relocation revenues and meet incoming federal cybersecurity mandates well ahead of the March 2027 deadline.

“Our goal is to handle technical complexity so partners can focus on serving military families,” said Zach Rattner, CTO and Co-Founder of Yembo. “Level 2 compliance proves we meet data protection standards, keeping partners compliant and eligible for defense contracts.”

The announcement follows Department of War (DoW) Personal Property Activity (PPA) Advisory #26-0087, which requires Transportation Service Providers (TSPs) to complete CMMC Level 2 compliance and record their assessment in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) by March 1, 2027. TSPs out of compliance by the deadline face non-use status, disqualifying them from servicing military moves.

Yembo’s proactive self-assessment clears the path for TSPs to maintain uninterrupted government operations. By implementing all 110 security practices across the 14 CMMC domains aligned with NIST SP 800-171, Yembo protects Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) captured during virtual inventory surveys.

“Our goal is to handle technical complexity so partners can focus on serving military families,” said Zach Rattner, CTO and Co-Founder of Yembo. “Level 2 compliance proves we meet data protection standards, keeping partners compliant and eligible for defense contracts.”

This achievement complements Yembo’s ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II compliance, delivering continuous, audited security across its AI-driven tools.

Moving companies looking to safeguard their DoW contract eligibility can request Yembo’s CMMC documentation or schedule a compliance consultation at https://yembo.ai/trust

Multiple customer demonstrations will validate hybrid RF and optical relay services ahead of commercial deployment.

SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT) today announced the first demonstration campaigns for Hyperion, the pathfinder mission for HYPER, KSAT’s next-generation hybrid radio frequency (RF) and optical relay network.

The campaigns will validate the operational services planned for the commercial HYPER network through demonstrations with satellite operators, technology providers and institutional partners, marking the first opportunity for customers to test low-latency relay services before commercial operations begin.

Hybrid Network Demonstrations

The Hyperion satellites will carry multiple optical terminals from Rocket Lab, which acquired laser communications company Mynaric earlier this year, and Sony Space Communications Corp. (SSCC). The terminals will enable customer demonstrations of optical payload relay while supporting several optical inter-satellite communication links within the HYPER network.

On the RF side, Hyperion will demonstrate S-band connectivity for telemetry, tracking and command, and Ka-band communications for payload data relay. Together, these demonstrations will validate how RF and optical links can work as complementary parts of a single relay network, supporting different operational requirements.

The partnerships with Rocket Lab and Sony Space Communications Corp. mark an important step for the Hyperion mission and play a key role in the demonstrations. As the HYPER program progresses, KSAT welcomes collaboration with additional technology providers interested in contributing to the future hybrid relay network.

“Hyperion is about proving operational services, not just technology. By bringing together customers, technology providers and institutional partners, we’re demonstrating the hybrid RF and optical capabilities that will underpin the future HYPER network. These campaigns validate real operational use cases while laying the foundation for Europe’s next-generation commercial satellite relay infrastructure,” said Edvard Foss, vice president of HYPER at KSAT.

Operational Validation

Hyperion will validate multiple operational services planned for the HYPER network through dedicated demonstration campaigns with institutional and commercial partners.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will demonstrate operational communications services over HYPER, including bidirectional communications and payload data relay over Ka-band. These demonstrations will validate how HYPER supports rapid delivery of mission data through a single hybrid relay network.

In parallel, HYPER is advancing through Phase 1 of the European Space Agency’s European Resilience from Space (ERS) program to demonstrate relay-enabled real-time satellite tasking and high-throughput, low-latency downloads.
