Primero Launches as the AI Transformation Company for Latin America

The company enables Latin America’s largest enterprises to deploy AI and unlock the region’s economic potential

MEXICO CITY, Aug. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Latin America’s biggest enterprises power the region’s economy, yet many still run on technology from the 1990s. Today, Primero, the AI transformation company for Latin America’s largest enterprises, announced its public launch to help these organizations modernize their operations with AI and unlock new revenue opportunities.

The company is already working with enterprises including Mexico City’s Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico (SEDECO), Kimberly-Clark de México, Terpel, SmartFit, and Verde Valle. Primero also announced $12 million in seed funding. The round was co-led by Kaszek and General Catalyst, with participation from Definition, Conviction, 8VC, and angel investors that include shareholders and executives from FEMSA, Bimbo, Aeroméxico, and Kimberly-Clark de México.

Today’s AI tools fall flat inside Latin America’s enterprises because the context they need is fragmented across dozens of disconnected systems. Critical business data lives across legacy ERPs, CRMs, finance platforms, warehouse management systems, document repositories, and other software that was never designed to work together. Without a unified understanding of the business, AI cannot reliably reason about operations or execute meaningful work.

Primero is building the system of intelligence that enables AI to understand, reason, and execute work across a company’s real, messy, cross-system operations.

Its product, Primia, connects directly to a company’s legacy systems and transforms fragmented business data into a shared enterprise ontology, giving AI a complete understanding of how the business operates. With this foundation, Primia powers AI agents that can execute complex work across the organization with enterprise-grade authentication, governance, and traceability built in.Enterprises retain control of their data and the freedom to work across models that best fit their business needs.

Primia is implemented module by module across the enterprise, built through forward-deployed engineers working alongside customer teams. Because these engineers live in the region, speak the language, and understand the culture, they embed inside an enterprise and build alongside its teams with a depth of context and trust that only a homegrown company can offer.

Each new module captures business context and best practices, creating an intelligence layer that every subsequent AI agent inherits. Over time, Primia compounds into a shared operating system for AI across the enterprise.

“Latin America cannot afford to be left behind again,” said José Murillo, co-founder and co-CEO of Primero. “LatAm needs its own technology champions—companies built locally for local institutions, with a deep understanding of how business actually works here. By making AI work with the systems enterprises already use, we’re building the foundation for a more competitive and prosperous future.”

The company is led by José Murillo, Andrés Rosales, and Santiago Buenahora, who worked at Meta, 8VC, and Robinhood before returning to Mexico City to found Primero. Most of Primero’s team also came back to Mexico after studying and working at leading U.S. universities and technology companies, including Stanford, Wharton, Harvard Business School, Google, Meta, and Uber. Around half of Primero’s engineers competed in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), or International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC).

“José, Andrés, and Santiago combine deep technical ambition with a rare understanding of how to build enduring companies in Latin America,” said Alex Tran, Managing Director at General Catalyst. “As enterprises across the region adopt AI, Primero is building the foundational infrastructure that will enable that transformation.”

“The CEOs of Latin America’s biggest enterprises are all eager to adopt AI,” said Nicolas Berman, Partner at Kaszek. “Primero has everything we look for in a generational company: exceptional founders, world-class engineering talent, and a product purpose-built for the complexities of enterprise adoption in the region.”

Gigasoft 2026 JavaScript Chart Comparison: ProEssentials, Highcharts, SciChart, LightningChart, ECharts

Published

on

By

ProEssentialsJS is not faster, it’s [magnitudes] faster. LightningChart’s published refreshing test is 1,000,000 points at 10 Hz, which is 10 million points per second. ProEssentialsJS runs 25,000,000 points at 25 frames per second, or 625 million points per second. At 100,000,000 points and 7 frames per second it is 700 million. Measured on an RTX 3090, a card from 2020.

DALLAS, Aug. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Gigasoft, Inc. releases new product ProEssentialsJS, their first javascript product.

A desktop engine, not just a another web library. The same native C++ engine Gigasoft has evolved since 1995, running inside instrumentation, SCADA, medical and test-and-measurement products, ported to WebAssembly.

The JavaScript property names are the WinForms property names. AI coding assistants are grounded by pe_query.py and the Ai-Data repository, which validate answers against the compiled engine rather than searching documentation. No hallucination.

Compute shaders feeding compute shaders, and a zero-copy path. The chart is handed a pointer into the WebAssembly heap, and GPU stages consume each other’s output without returning to the CPU. This is full-data-replacement work: large line data, 3D surfaces, 2D contours, where the whole dataset changes every frame. A charting engine designed by electrical engineers, engineered to the nth degree. Nobody Renders Like We Do! See example 123 in our live javascript charting demo.

No WebGL context limit. Canvas2D is not a GPU context, so putting many charts on one page does not run into the browser’s cap. The GPU is engaged where the chart needs it.

Free for commercial use under USD 250,000 revenue, redistribution included. No license key, no activation, no domain lock, no phone home, no watermark.

Read the full JavaScript chart comparison, the methodology behind the fastest JavaScript chart claim, and how the zero-copy data path works. Every example runs in the browser at live JavaScript chart demos. Terms are published in full at license.

About Gigasoft, Inc. Gigasoft has built charting components since 1995 and has served roughly 6,500 customers, including NASA, NASA JPL, Rockwell, Emerson Process, ABB, Siemens and Halliburton. ProEssentials runs on WinUI, WPF, WinForms, MFC, Delphi, ActiveX and, now, the browser. Support is free and unlimited for the life of the version.

JustMarkets Analyzes How Global Market Sentiment Shapes Trading Strategies

Published

on

By

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam, Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — JustMarkets released an in-depth analysis on how global investor sentiment influences currency, commodity, and equity markets. The global broker explains how understanding risk-on and risk-off sentiment can help traders interpret market movements and make more informed decisions across multiple asset classes.

What Is Risk-On and Risk-Off?

Risk-on sentiment typically develops during periods when investors hold positive economic expectations. In these environments, traders may be more willing to take on additional risk in pursuit of higher returns. However, this does not mean that profits are guaranteed.

Risk-off behavior emerges amid growing uncertainty. Geopolitical tensions, slowing economic growth, inflation concerns, or unexpected market disruptions typically prompt investors to shift toward defensive assets and safer investments.

Understanding these two market modes may provide traders with a strategic advantage before executing trades.

Assets That Often Reflect Market Sentiment

Market sentiment shifts typically trigger varying responses across financial instruments.

Risk-On Assets

When trader optimism rises, capital may flow toward:

Indexes such as US500, US100, and US30Technology and growth stocksCommodity currencies (AUD, NZD)Industrial commodities

Risk-Off Assets

As uncertainty increases, investors may gravitate toward:

Gold (XAU/USD)Japanese yen (JPY)US dollar (USD)Defensive instruments

Key Correlations Traders May Watch

Equities and Gold

The relationship between stock markets and gold represents one of the most closely observed correlations in trading. During favorable market sentiment, stock indices may attract capital while gold interest may decline. Conversely, gold may become more attractive as a protective asset during market stress.

US Dollar and Risk Aversion

The US dollar often appreciates during periods of market turmoil, reflecting its critical role in the global financial system. As risk appetite declines, traders may allocate funds toward USD-based assets. A strengthening dollar typically coincides with weaker stock indices and increased safe-haven demand.

Japanese Yen as a Safe-Haven Currency

The Japanese yen is traditionally regarded as a safe-haven asset. During unfavorable market conditions, traders may reduce risk exposure by allocating capital to Japanese yen, which often results in depreciation of currency pairs such as USD/JPY.

Building a Comprehensive Market Picture

Most traders focus on individual charts, yet markets remain interconnected – market sentiment spreads across asset classes simultaneously. Monitoring stocks, foreign exchange, commodities, and precious metals together may help traders develop a more complete understanding of overall market conditions before executing trading decisions.

Through multi-asset CFD trading, live market analysis, and advanced trading capabilities offered by JustMarkets, CFD traders can analyze global market sentiment from a single platform. While recognizing market sentiment patterns does not guarantee trading success, it may help traders align their strategies with prevailing market conditions.

About JustMarkets

JustMarkets is a global financial CFD trading platform designed to eliminate technical noise and enable investors to focus on what matters most: making informed decisions. With modern infrastructure and professional services, JustMarkets serves as a reliable partner for traders seeking to navigate the financial markets.

Risk Warning: Trading CFDs on financial instruments involves significant risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Market conditions can change rapidly, and losses may exceed deposits. Ensure you understand the risks involved and trade responsibly.

BeautyPlus Bedazzled Gem Filter Gains Viral Momentum Across Japan and Thailand

Published

on

By

SINGAPORE, Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — BeautyPlus users across Asia are turning selfies, food, drinks, and everyday snapshots into gem-covered creations with the app’s Bedazzled Gem Filter. The sparkling effect has gained strong organic momentum in Japan and Thailand, with interest also emerging in Taiwan region and Hong Kong SAR.

In Japan, one post on X amassed 8.1 million views, 30,000 likes, and 3,500 reposts. In Thailand, a popular post on X drew 2.6 million views, while multiple Instagram posts surpassed 1 million views. The scale of activity across both markets suggests the trend is traveling across audiences rather than staying within a single local community.

Part of BeautyPlus’s broader AI filters collection, Bedazzled Gem has moved well beyond selfies as users apply it to desserts, coffee, accessories, and lifestyle shots. Its bold, decorative look also fits naturally with the Y2K, kawaii, and maximalist aesthetics already popular online, making the effect easy to recognize, recreate, and share.

BeautyPlus data shows that Bedazzled Gem usage rose 200% in both Japan and Thailand from August 21 to 23. During the same period, BeautyPlus reached No. 4 in Japan and No. 1 in Thailand in the App Store’s Photo & Video category. BeautyPlus also saw ranking gains in Taiwan region and Hong Kong SAR during the same period.

App rankings reflect multiple factors, but the timing points to a notable overlap between the filter’s social momentum and increased attention to BeautyPlus.

“What’s been especially exciting is seeing how users have made it their own,” said Vincent Lu, Product Lead at BeautyPlus. “It started as a photo effect, and now people are applying it to food, everyday moments, and whatever catches their eye. That’s exactly the kind of self-expression we want BeautyPlus to enable.”

The Bedazzled Gem Filter is available now in the BeautyPlus photo editing app and takes just a few taps to apply. The app also includes tools such as the AI Image Enhancer, which helps improve photo resolution, color, and contrast.

About BeautyPlus

BeautyPlus, developed by Pixocial, is a photo and video editing app and website offering beauty, AI, and creative tools that help users edit content and express themselves through visual creation.
