Partnership helps gaming, wagering, hospitality, and travel operators automate identity checks, reduce manual review, and accelerate compliant self-service experiences

MELBOURNE, Australia, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — AU10TIX, a global identity verification and fraud intelligence company trusted by enterprises worldwide, today announced a partnership with NEO, a leading global provider of self-service terminal technology and automation solutions, to bring real-time identity verification, age assurance, fraud prevention, and compliance capabilities into physical self-service environments.

The partnership combines NEO’s self-service terminal infrastructure with AU10TIX’s AI-powered identity verification technology, helping operators verify identity, confirm age eligibility, detect fraud, and support compliance directly within the self-service journey.

AU10TIX and NEO are already working together on live customer deployments with leading Australian gaming and hospitality venues, where real-time identity verification supports high-volume self-service guest journeys.

The initial focus will be Australia, with plans to expand into Asia, the United States, Europe, and other global markets.

In high-volume venues, every manual identity check adds friction. AU10TIX and NEO help operators bring real-time identity verification into the point of service – across onboarding, re-verification, card reissuance, access, and age-restricted transactions – while meeting the lighting, capture, positioning, hardware, and speed demands of real-world terminal environments.

“As more customer journeys move to self-service, identity verification has to move with them,” said Yair Tal, CEO of AU10TIX. “Our partnership with NEO brings AU10TIX’s real-time identity intelligence into physical environments where speed, accuracy, and compliance all matter. This is about helping operators verify customers, assess risk, and prevent fraud directly in the flow, without sending people back to a manual process.”

By embedding AU10TIX’s technology into NEO’s self-service terminals, operators can run document verification, biometric matching, liveness detection, age assurance, and fraud checks directly inside the terminal workflow.

The partnership also helps operators reduce operational friction. Identity verification workflows can be completed up to 10 times faster than traditional manual workflows. For example, card replacement or reissuance processes that previously took 30 to 40 minutes can now be completed in a few minutes through a streamlined self-service experience.

“NEO’s focus has always been on making self-service faster, simpler, and more effective for operators and their customers,” said Anton Jovanovic, CEO of NEO. “By partnering with AU10TIX, we can add trusted identity verification, age assurance, and fraud prevention directly into the terminal experience. That means operators can complete processes that once took 30 or 40 minutes in just a few minutes, while still meeting the compliance standards their industries require.”

Together, AU10TIX and NEO are helping operators turn physical self-service into a trusted, automated customer experience.

By

SÃO PAULO, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Intersolar South America 2026, one of the leading exhibitions and conferences in the Latin American solar industry, took place in São Paulo from 25 to 27 August. During the event, DoGo participated in a roundtable discussion jointly hosted by EUPD Research and Intersolar, sharing insights on grid-forming energy storage technology and the evolution of next-generation power systems.

During the roundtable, DoGo emphasised that as renewable energy penetration increases, the role of energy storage must evolve beyond simply storing and discharging electricity. It is becoming critical power infrastructure that can actively support the grid and enhance overall system resilience.

DoGo Power is an innovative company that specialises in grid-scale, grid-forming energy storage and the core technologies required for next-generation power systems. By combining AI with grid-forming energy storage technology, DoGo is transforming energy storage from a single-function asset into intelligent, grid-forming infrastructure that supports the development of an intelligent, coordinated ‘source-grid-load-storage’ power system.

DoGo is committed to advancing the industry by harnessing the power of AI and grid-forming technology. By integrating the four core systems — the Energy Management System (EMS), the Power Management System (PMS), the Power Conversion System (PCS) and the Battery Management System (BMS) — DoGo has developed the industry’s pioneering Software-Defined Energy (SDE) architecture. Through SDE, DoGo is redefining grid-scale grid-forming energy storage systems and delivering enhanced stability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness for renewable-dominated power systems. DoGo is developing intelligent solar-plus-storage solutions that are safe, high-quality, reliable and designed to create long-term value for customers.

At the same time, DoGo was recognised once again for its technological innovation, receiving the Top Innovation Award Brazil from EUPD Research for its core technology: the fully in-house developed 4S architecture. AI Expands Across Industries as Technology Drives Industrial Upgrading in Central and Southern Taiwan

TAIPEI, Aug. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On August 28, the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), unveiled 31 innovative technologies at the “2026 Meet Greater South” event, under the theme “Meet Your BEST Solution: Connecting Local Businesses with Tech Solutions.” The showcase was presented in collaboration with startups and research institutions including the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC), the Institute for Information Industry (III), and the Food Industry Research and Development Institute (FIRDI).

This year’s pavilion highlights two key areas. The first echoes the theme of “AI Across Industries,” extending AI beyond high-tech manufacturing into fields such as architecture and construction, water quality monitoring, and food production. The second area, “Industrial Upgrading,” focuses on advancing industries in central and southern Taiwan through cutting-edge manufacturing processes and innovative technologies that boost both production efficiency and product quality. A number of these innovations have already been licensed to industry partners, helping companies including Ability opto-Electronics Technology, Li Xiang Machinery, HIWIN Technologies, and TBI Motion Technology secure orders from major international clients. These results demonstrate the tangible benefits of linking technology R&D with industry needs and helping companies expand into global markets.

AI-Optimized Metalens Imaging Breaks Into Global Supply Chains

In line with the government’s “AI Across Industries” policy, DoIT’s pavilion features a range of AI applications, demonstrating how artificial intelligence is being put to work across different sectors. One example is AI-optimized laptop camera lens imaging technology that enables a thinner lens while maintaining sharp image quality. ITRI’s Ultra-thin Structure NanoOptics Chip Technology for Visual Sensing Applications uses a monolithic metalens to overcome the bulkiness of traditional multi-element lenses. Combining semiconductor manufacturing processes with AI to enhance image clarity, the technology reduces lens thickness from the conventional 2.3–3mm down to just 1.3mm. It has already been adopted by Ability opto-Electronics Technology, a leading laptop lens manufacturer, which has integrated the technology into facial-recognition login modules for ultra-thin laptops. The solution has also been adopted by a major U.S. laptop brand. Looking ahead, the technology is expected to expand into visible-light and thermal-infrared imaging applications.

AI Reads Clam Shell Movements to Safeguard Water Quality for Over 2 Million People

AI is also being applied to water quality monitoring, turning clams into biological sentinels for water systems serving more than 2 million people. The Digital Twin Technology for Bio-Water Quality Sensing, developed by III, addresses the high cost traditionally associated with deploying multiple types of water quality sensors. The technology uses freshwater clams as biological sensors, taking advantage of their relatively stable behavioral responses. Cameras non-invasively monitor the clams’ shell movements, while AI analyzes subtle behavioral cues, opening-and-closing patterns, and abnormal group behavior to detect water quality changes in real time. The technology is already deployed at the Bansin Water Treatment Plant, the Sanxia River Pumping Station, and the Shoufeng Water Treatment Plant, which together serve more than 2 million people. It has also been licensed to KETECH Scientific Instrument, extending its use to water quality monitoring for critical processes in high-tech industries such as semiconductors, printed circuit boards, and precision machining.

Through the exhibition, DoIT aims to accelerate the adoption of more innovative technologies and bring new momentum into industrial upgrading across central and southern Taiwan.
