To solve this, Caliber Public Safety has integrated the specialized AI report-writing solution from Abel Police directly into the Caliber Online RMS. The BodyCam Narrative feature allows officers to access their body camera videos within the RMS narrative tools. The Abel Police technology then generates a preliminary draft based on the video and audio content, complete with embedded time-link references to specific video segments. Rather than starting from scratch, officers receive a working framework that they can easily verify against the footage.

Once a narrative is saved, the associated videos do not immediately disappear. They remain accessible within the system for a configured period, defaulting to 10 days, allowing officers to return and review footage if further supplements are needed.
Additionally, the BodyCam Narrative feature can be combined with charge-specific templates for recurring incident types, such as driving under the influence or domestic violence. This combination creates a highly consistent report structure across the entire agency. This similarity in reporting makes it significantly easier for supervisors to review submissions and for district and prosecuting attorneys to process cases efficiently.
