New collaboration expands access to classroom-centered AI professional development for K-12 teachers statewide

ASHLAND, Ohio, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ashland University and Ed3 have announced a strategic partnership to deliver AI literacy and professional development courses designed specifically for K-12 educators across Ohio. The collaboration places pedagogy at its center, equipping teachers with practical, classroom-ready skills to navigate and integrate AI tools in ways that enhance student learning.

Ashland University and Ed3 partner to deliver AI literacy and professional learning courses for educators across Ohio.

Through the partnership, Ashland University will offer a suite of graduate-credit and continuing education courses co-developed with Ed3, a national leader in AI education for teachers. Courses provide teachers with a structured, values-aligned foundation for navigating AI safely and responsibly – designed to align with Ohio’s AI in Education Coalition Strategy and model policy guidelines. Rather than simply introducing tools, the curriculum helps educators move from policy to practice, building the confidence and judgment needed to improve the quality of instruction in AI-integrated classrooms.

The program leverages Ashland University’s deep network of district and education service center (ESC) relationships across Ohio, combined with Ed3’s internationally recognized pedagogy-first AI professional learning for educators. Together, the organizations aim to reach thousands of educators across Ohio and expand Ashland’s online enrollment to serve districts that have not yet had access to quality AI professional learning.

“We are excited to partner with Ed3 to deliver professional learning to Ohio educators that will help them understand how to integrate AI and emerging technologies into their pedagogy. This is much needed – because most of the time, the approach to AI literacy has been very tool-based, focused on things like helping students edit their writing. The shift to a pedagogy-first mindset is what’s most critical right now.”

~ Dr. James Powell, Executive Director of Professional Learning Services, Ashland University

“Teachers need AI professional development that starts with their students and their classrooms – not with the technology. This partnership with Ashland University means we can provide Ohio Educators the tools and confidence to lead with purpose in an AI-integrated world.”

~ Vriti Saraf, Founder & CEO, Ed3

Courses are available for graduate credit and continuing education units (CEUs), with stackable pathways that allow educators to build credentials over time. The program launches statewide in June 2026.

Summary: Ammaar’s Toyota Vacaville now offers the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser in Vacaville, California, allowing local shoppers to choose a rugged SUV with hybrid power, advanced off-road capability, flexible cargo space and a 6,000-pound towing capacity.

VACAVILLE, Calif., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ammaar’s Toyota Vacaville is announcing the arrival of the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser in Vacaville, California, giving local shoppers a rugged SUV built for city commutes, road trips and demanding trails. Its turbocharged hybrid powertrain produces 326 net combined horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque, while 6,000 pounds of towing capacity adds serious hauling capability.

What Makes the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser Capable Off Road?

Full-time 4WD continuously sends power to both the front and rear axles, helping to maintain traction on gravel, mud, snow and rocky surfaces. An electronically controlled two-speed transfer case allows torque settings to be adjusted for changing terrain.

Rear and center locking differentials can distribute available torque to add traction when one or more wheels encounter challenging terrain. Multi-Terrain Select adjusts traction management for different surfaces, while Crawl Control automatically manages throttle and braking at low speeds, allowing the driver to concentrate on steering.

Available Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism increases wheel articulation over uneven trails and rocky obstacles. Multi-Terrain Monitor uses front, rear and side cameras to reveal nearby obstacles, including terrain close beneath the vehicle.

How Does the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser Handle Daily Comfort?

Three Drive Modes—Sport, Eco and Normal—let drivers adjust throttle response and overall driving character. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel add warmth during chilly Vacaville mornings, while available heated and ventilated seating brings additional comfort.

A 60/40 split rear bench can fold in sections, creating room for passengers alongside camping equipment, groceries, sports bags or outdoor gear. An available center-console cool box can keep beverages chilled, while the 2,400-watt power inverter can operate compatible devices such as laptops and coffee makers.

What Technology and Safety Features Are Included?

An 8-inch touchscreen comes standard, with an available 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia display. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ support navigation, calls, messages and music. Available JBL® Premium Audio adds 14 speakers, including a subwoofer and amplifier.

Safety technology includes Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, Automatic High Beams and Proactive Driving Assist.

The available Head-Up Display places selected driving information onto the windshield, helping keep key details within view.

Customers interested in the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser can contact Ammaar’s Toyota Vacaville at 500 Orange Dr., Vacaville, CA 95687, or call 707-446-7000 for additional information.

Cloudphysician Unveils Nightingale, a Visual Intelligence Foundation Model Built for the Hospital Room

Purpose-built AI system, already deployed across 150+ hospitals in India, expands into the US market with a compact, edge-optimized architecture designed for clinical-grade precision

BANGALORE, India and SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Cloudphysician today announced Nightingale, a domain-specific video foundation model built to monitor hospital patients around the clock, detecting clinically relevant changes in patient conditions that physicians can typically only observe during periodic rounds.

Founded by physicians and trained on thousands of hours of clinical video, Cloudphysician develops clinical AI to extend bedside capacity without displacing clinicians or disrupting their workflows. Nightingale is the culmination of that rigorously vetted collective data, testing and experience. Unlike general-purpose video AI systems that identify basic activity such as patient presence or movement, Nightingale is engineered to recognize fine-grained clinical signals, including abnormal breathing patterns, nasal flaring, tube positioning (differentiating feeding tubes from breathing tubes), signs of delirium, sedation levels, fall risk, pressure ulcer risk and more.

A compact foundation model developed using Cloudphysician’s proprietary clinical data and expert annotations, Nightingale employs a comprehensive grounds up approach instead of fine-tuning existing open-weight models. Nightingale runs entirely inside the hospital. A single on-premise GPU ingests 100 concurrent camera streams, so patient video never leaves the building. The result is an efficient perception layer designed for edge and on-premise deployment reducing inference and bandwidth costs by roughly 100x compared to general-purpose, cloud-based, token-driven models.

“I spent years as a doctor watching patients whose conditions could turn in minutes; a breathing pattern shifting, someone unattended trying to get out of bed and knowing no one could catch it in time if I or one of my colleagues wasn’t standing right there. That gap was never addressable till today. Today with AI we can watch over patients all the time – keeping them safe and that is why we are building Cloudphysician to be the eyes of a doctor or nurse, said Dr Dhruv Joshi, Cofounder & CEO, Cloudphysician. Nightingale started in patient rooms, training to pick up the signals a bedside monitor misses and a physician would catch if they could be everywhere at once. This is the kind of AI that can mean the difference between life and death,” Dr Dhruv Joshi, Cofounder & CEO, Cloudphysician.

Market Opportunity

The United States has approximately 1 million hospital beds, of which around 200,000 currently have cameras; a figure expected to grow to 500,000 by 2030.

This has made it possible to now deploy AI that brings the clinical grade visual perception into clinical care delivery 24/7. The company’s stated goal is to become the default visual perception layer for care delivery in what is becoming a multibillion dollar market.

About Cloudphysician

Founded in 2017 by Dr. Dhruv Joshi and Dr, Dileep Raman, Cloudphysician is an AI company building video-based AI solutions for hospitals. The company’s goal is to enable patient safety via autonomous care when patients are admitted in hospitals. Fuelling this is its deep experience of building a virtual connected care network of hospitals and providing care to over 200,000 patients. Cloudphysician has helped save over 10,000 lives across its network of over 200 hospitals.
