The new lineup — DELTA 3 Classic and DELTA 3 Max — helps Nigerians power through grid outages with quiet, solar-ready energy

LAGOS, Nigeria, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — EcoFlow, a global pioneer in eco‑friendly energy solutions, today announced the launch of two new models within its DELTA 3 series in Nigeria, headlined by the DELTA 3 Classic — an accessible, high-performance portable power station built for the realities of everyday life in Nigeria.

With frequent grid outages and the rising cost of diesel and petrol for backup generators, millions of Nigerian households and small businesses are looking for a cleaner, quieter and more affordable way to stay powered. The DELTA 3 series is the answer.

DELTA 3 Classic: High Performance, Without the Complexity

Designed as an easy entry point into premium backup power, the DELTA 3 Classic (1024Wh) delivers 1800W of rated output — with 3600W surge — enough to run essential appliances at the same time, from portable refrigerators and fans to televisions, laptops and even induction cookers.

Powered by EcoFlow’s X-Boost technology, it can support devices up to 2400W, so users can handle demanding appliances without buying a larger, more complex system. Equipped with a 10 ms built–in UPS (non–HID type), the DELTA 3 Classic delivers uninterrupted power protection for the device.

Recharging is fast and flexible. With EcoFlow’s X-Stream fast charging, the DELTA 3 Classic goes from 0–80% in just 45 minutes on AC power. It also supports solar and alternator charging — a major advantage in Nigeria, where abundant sunshine makes solar the ideal way to keep a power station topped up at no running cost.

Weighing just 12.1 kg and running below 30 dB under normal loads, DELTA 3 Classic is compact enough to travel and quiet enough for overnight use — a world apart from the roar of a fuel generator. A long-life LFP battery and EcoFlow App monitoring complete a unit built for durability, safety and simplicity.

DELTA 3 Max: More Power for Bigger Needs

For households and businesses that need to keep more appliances running — including refrigerators for keeping food and medicines fresh during extended outages — DELTA 3 Max steps up with a class-leading 2kWh capacity and up to 2400W max output, comfortably covering 99% of home appliances.

DELTA 3 Ultra: For Extended, Heavy-Duty Backup

Completing the DELTA 3 product portfolio, the already–available DELTA 3 Ultra first launched on Aug. 24, 2026. Delivering up to 3600W output and 3 kWh capacity, it caters to heavier loads and prolonged power outages — well–suited for small offices, retail shops and larger households operating multiple devices simultaneously.

Built to Last

Every DELTA 3 series unit features EV–grade LFP battery cells and a robust cell–to–chassis design engineered to resist heat, humidity and everyday wear–and–tear. Coupled with the X–Guard 3.0 safety architecture and sophisticated BMS (Battery Management System) protection, it delivers a service life of up to 10 years, supported by a total 5–year warranty (comprising a 3–year base warranty plus an additional 2–year extended warranty upon registration via the EcoFlow App).

Availability and Pricing

The DELTA 3 Classic and DELTA 3 Max go on sale from Sept. 9 via the EcoFlow’s official website and Jumia’s official store, ECOFLOW Official Store-COD, alongside authorized offline retailers across Nigeria.

Launch Offer (offer valid September 9‑21):

DELTA 3 Classic will launch on Sept 9 at a promotional price of 798,000NGN on the EcoFlow’s official website and Jumia official store.DELTA 3 Max will launch on Sept 9 at a promotional price of 1,362,000NGN on the EcoFlow’s official website and Jumia official store.

Water molecule case study to be presented at Q2B Copenhagen 2026 shows how error mitigation can dramatically improve the reliability of quantum chemistry on today’s processors

TEL AVIV, Israel and COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Qedma Quantum Computing, a pioneer in quantum error reduction software, together with the HQC2 team at University of Copenhagen (KU), Denmark, Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and University of Southern Denmark (SDU), today published the findings of a collaborative study that delivered accurate quantum chemistry results, demonstrating the value of error mitigation in quantum computation. Qedma’s researchers will be presenting this work and a separate talk on quantum advantage at Q2B Copenhagen, September 9-10, 2026.

In the study, researchers at HQC2 and Qedma explored the potential energy surface of a water molecule using an orbital-optimized variational ansatz on IBM’s Aachen quantum processor with Qedma’s QESEM error reduction software. Led by Prof. Stephan P. A. Sauer and postdoctoral researcher Renato Olarte Hernandez at University of Copenhagen (KU), together with Prof. Sonia Coriani and postdoctoral researcher Emanuele Rossi at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the study was carried out as part of Q-CHEMION, a project under the Eureka open call for applied quantum technologies.

The research achieved exceptionally high accuracy for quantum computation, a 30–50× improvement over the raw results achieved without QESEM error mitigation.

Today’s quantum processors are noisy, which can make quantum chemistry calculations unreliable and inaccurate. QESEM mitigates the impact of noise in current quantum computers. Rather than waiting for large-scale, fully fault-tolerant quantum computers, QESEM’s patented approach unlocks the ability to execute larger and more complex quantum workloads while producing accurate results. It is currently being used by leading enterprises, academic institutions, and research laboratories around the world.

“We’re extremely pleased with the results of this collaborative study that clearly illustrates how our error mitigation software can help bridge the gap between today’s noisy quantum devices and the high-accuracy quantum computations required for future scientific applications,” said Qedma CEO and Co-founder Dr. Asif Sinay. “The work shows a strong proof of concept for applying quantum computing to quantum chemistry on current hardware, demonstrating improved accuracy as higher levels of precision were required.”

“Accuracy is particularly important in quantum chemistry, where even relatively small errors can affect the reliability of calculated molecular properties and energies,” said Prof. Stephan P. A. Sauer, KU. “This study allowed us to explore how error mitigation can improve the accuracy of chemistry calculations performed on today’s noisy quantum hardware. The results demonstrate the potential of approaches such as QESEM to help achieve the high levels of precision required for quantum chemistry applications.”

Qedma recently demonstrated quantum advantage together with IBM, accurately resolving the dynamics of quantum materials unseen in classical simulation. The results marked the first time quantum advantage has been achieved with commercially available hardware and software, reaching a paradigm where multiple state-of-the-art classical approaches failed to provide consistent, reliable answers.
