Threat Assessment and Arlo Summary Provide Greater Insight and Proactive Protection, Strengthening Arlo Secure Early Warning System’s Comprehensive Capabilities

CARLSBAD, Calif., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Arlo Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ARLO), a leading provider of smart home security services, today announced Arlo Secure 7, the latest evolution of its AI-powered smart security service. Arlo Secure 7 introduces two new AI-powered features – Threat Assessment and Arlo Summary – alongside user experience improvements and a new 24/7 video recording plan. Together with the Arlo Secure Early Warning System’s existing AI-powered detection and intelligence capabilities, these updates give users greater context, awareness and control over their home security.

Arlo Summary provides an easy-to-understand recap of important activity from the past 24 hours, while Threat Assessment identifies urgent, high-risk situations — such as break-ins, fire, armed threats, or theft— and automatically initiates the appropriate response based on the event. From active deterrence by turning on the camera’s siren or spotlight, to autonomously contacting a live Safety Agent, Threat Assessment ensures action within seconds.

“We saw an industry-wide need for sharper insights, faster awareness, and proactive escalation to reduce response time when consumers need it most,” said Matthew McRae, Chief Executive Officer at Arlo. “With the addition of Threat Assessment, the Arlo Secure Early Warning System is more intuitive and actionable than ever before, delivering a smarter, safer home security experience for the millions who rely on Arlo for protection.”

New Arlo Secure 7 Features
The following new features will roll out to Arlo Secure Early Warning System customers over the next month:

Threat Assessment1: Threat Assessment introduces industry-leading intelligence to identify events that have a potential threat versus everyday activity and transforms Arlo cameras into a system that takes proactive action. Based on the severity of the event, Arlo automatically triggers a response matched to the threat, alerting the user immediately and, when appropriate, escalating to a professional monitoring center for emergency dispatch. Real-time updates keep users informed as the situation unfolds, with critical push notifications that will break through Mute and do-not-disturb settings to ensure the appropriate level of attention.Arlo Summary: Available on demand, Arlo Summary generates a short recap of video recordings from the last 24 hours. It filters out routine or insignificant events and delivers a plain-language story at the top of the Arlo Feed so users can quickly catch up on what matters most without watching every clip.

New Arlo Ultra Secure Plan with 24/7 Recording
With this latest release, Arlo also introduces a new plan option for consumers and small businesses seeking continuous video recording capabilities. The Arlo Ultra Secure Plan delivers 24/7 recording for up to three cameras (support for unlimited cameras coming soon), with recordings kept for 30 days.

Three Arlo Secure Early Warning System plans are available now — Smart Aware, Smart Secure, and Ultra Secure. A one-month trial of Arlo Secure is included with the purchase of select Arlo products. After the trial, premium features require a paid subscription.

Echo Global Logistics Named One of Just 10 Non-Asset-Based 3PLs Nationwide to Earn CTPAT Validation

Echo is among the first few providers admitted into U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s CTPAT program, adding a new layer of supply chain security to its brokerage model

CHICAGO, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Echo Global Logistics, Inc. (“Echo”), a leading provider of technology-enabled transportation and supply chain management services, has achieved Validated status in U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program, one of only 10 non-asset-based 3PLs selected nationwide. Authorized by the CTPAT Pilot Program Act of 2023, the pilot marks the first time CBP has opened CTPAT — previously reserved for asset-based carriers, importers, and customs brokers — to non-asset-based freight brokers. Following a comprehensive review, CBP confirmed that Echo’s supply chain security program meets CTPAT’s security criteria.

“CTPAT has historically focused on asset-based transportation providers, so Echo’s selection as one of the first non-asset-based 3PLs represents an important milestone for our company and our industry,” said Troy Ryley, President of Echo’s Mexico division. “In addition to our extensive network of CTPAT-certified carriers, Validation adds another layer of security to Echo’s truck brokerage model, giving our clients added confidence that security is embedded throughout their supply chain — even though Echo, like most freight brokers, has traditionally operated a non-asset-based model.”

For shippers, CTPAT-validated partners are recognized by CBP as lower-risk, which can translate to fewer cargo exams and more predictable transit times across the border. Echo maintains an extensive network of carrier partners, including CTPAT-certified carriers, while applying its own validated security processes to the management and protection of freight — creating a layered security approach that now extends from the carrier to the broker itself.

Echo provides clients with cross-border, customs brokerage, and intra-Mexico solutions, creating a comprehensive Mexico offering for all supply chain needs. Operating within an intricate cross-border trade environment, additional security protocols support the protection of freight. Echo’s security strategy and tools are aligned with CTPAT criteria, supporting a more secure and seamless transportation process across the region. Learn more about Echo’s Mexico operations: Mexico Cross-Border Shipping Solutions | Echo Global Logistics.

“For our clients and business partners, this achievement provides added confidence that freight is supported by a logistics provider whose security program has been independently validated by CBP,” said Gabriel Guajardo, Director, Southern Border at Echo. “Combined with our extensive network of CTPAT carriers, Validation status strengthens our layered approach to cargo security and supply chain risk management, helping us deliver secure and reliable transportation solutions across North America.”
