Text-to-vector AI Software (2026): CorelDRAW’s New AI Vector Generation in the September Update Reviewed by Consumer365

Published

on

NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Consumer365 has published a new review of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 following the September 2026 Update, highlighting new Text-to-vector AI capabilities and workflow improvements for professional graphic design. The September update expands CorelDRAW’s AI Generate tools with a dedicated Text-to-vector workflow designed to turn written prompts into editable, scalable vector graphics.

Best Design Software for Vector Creation

CorelDRAW – professional creative software for vector illustration, graphic design, layout, photo editing, typography, and production-focused design workflows.

The September 2026 Update builds on CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026, a professional design suite covering vector illustration, layout, photo editing, typography, and production-focused workflows. The update remains part of the 2026 product release.

The new Text-to-vector capability represents the central feature of the September update. CorelDRAW places the feature within the AI Generate docker or inspector, allowing designers to begin with a written description or existing artwork. Generated graphics can then be refined as editable vector objects.

Text-to-vector AI Brings Prompt-Based Vector Creation to CorelDRAW

Text-to-vector AI software converts written creative directions into vector artwork. CorelDRAW’s September 2026 Update brings the workflow directly into CorelDRAW through AI Generate.

The workflow supports two starting points. A designer can enter a text prompt to explore a concept from scratch. Existing artwork can also serve as a starting point for generating variations. The approach supports early ideation while keeping the resulting artwork available for further editing.

CorelDRAW provides several visual styles for generated vectors, including Line art, Comic book, and Icon. Generated results remain refinable after creation. Color handling also follows the document’s color mode, helping generated artwork fit into an existing design workflow.

The result is intended for practical design production rather than concept generation alone. Vector objects can be resized, adjusted, refined, and incorporated into larger projects. Nodes and other vector properties are available for manual editing after generation.

The September update also positions Text-to-vector alongside existing Text-to-image capabilities. The combination gives CorelDRAW users options for developing concepts as either vector artwork or raster imagery, depending on project requirements.

Enhanced PowerTRACE Expands Bitmap-to-Vector Workflows

CorelDRAW’s September 2026 Update also introduces a substantial PowerTRACE enhancement.

The updated workflow includes a redesigned interface and improved object structure. Performance has also been enhanced, with tracing speeds of up to four times faster. Improved color handling provides more control over source images before vector conversion.

AI-powered background removal adds another step to the vectorization process. Background areas can be removed before tracing, allowing the subject of an image to become the focus of the conversion.

The changes have practical applications for logos, scanned artwork, illustrations, drawings, and other low-resolution source material. Vector output can support scalable production without relying on the original bitmap dimensions.

The combination of Text-to-vector generation and enhanced PowerTRACE creates two distinct ways to produce vector artwork. Text prompts can generate new concepts, while PowerTRACE can convert existing images into editable vector designs.

CorelDRAW Web Adds Fonts and Production Export

The September 2026 Update also expands CorelDRAW Web for subscribers. New capabilities include support for uploading personal, system, brand, and custom fonts for browser-based design work.

Font support addresses a common issue in browser-based design workflows. Missing fonts can affect typography when a document moves between desktop and web environments. CorelDRAW Web can now use uploaded fonts, helping preserve intended typography when working with CDR files in the browser.

DWG and DXF export has also been added to CorelDRAW Web. The formats support workflows involving plotters and fabrication, allowing browser-based projects to move toward production using established industry file formats.

Automatic cloud saving and improved file-renaming tools round out the CorelDRAW Web changes. The September update also brings AI tools to the browser experience, extending CorelDRAW’s AI-assisted workflows beyond desktop applications.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite remains available across Windows, Mac, and Web. CorelDRAW’s official product information identifies vector illustration, layout, photo editing, and typography as core areas of the suite.

AI as a Workflow Tool for Designers

The September update frames artificial intelligence as a workflow accelerator within CorelDRAW rather than a replacement for manual design work. Text-to-vector generation can provide an initial concept, while vector editing tools allow further refinement.

Such a workflow can reduce repetitive stages during ideation and revision. A designer working from a brief can test visual directions through text prompts before adjusting individual vector elements manually.

The same approach can support client revision rounds. Existing artwork can be used as a reference for generating variations, providing additional starting points during concept development.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 also includes other AI-assisted capabilities introduced earlier in the release cycle:

AI background removalAI masking in Corel PHOTO-PAINTAI image generationAI Image remixing

Performance improvements accompany the September update. CorelDRAW reports smoother handling of complex files and improved responsiveness across everyday tasks. The broader 2026 release also introduced app launch improvements of around three times faster or more, along with smoother font handling and stability improvements.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 Expands Vector Design Options

Consumer365’s recognition follows a significant update to CorelDRAW’s approach to AI-assisted vector creation. Text-to-vector AI adds prompt-based generation to a professional vector workflow while retaining editable output for further design work.

The September update also strengthens existing production workflows through enhanced PowerTRACE: improved color handling, AI-assisted background removal, faster bitmap-to-vector conversion.

CorelDRAW Web receives expanded font capabilities, DWG and DXF export, automatic cloud saving, and additional AI functionality for subscribers.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 continues to support a range of design applications, including branding, signage, marketing materials, technical drawings, apparel, and large-format production. Production-focused tools include color management, Pantone Color Libraries, 1:1 scale design, color separations, soft proofing, and multi-asset export.

The September 2026 Update places Text-to-vector AI at the center of a broader effort to streamline vector creation. For designers exploring text-to-vector AI software, CorelDRAW now combines prompt-based vector generation with editable output, manual refinement, bitmap-to-vector conversion, and production-oriented design tools within the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 environment.

The 15-day free trial is available with no credit card required, and includes 200 AI credits. Using the COREL10 coupon code on checkout grants 10% off all editions of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, available until October 31, 2026.

The Endeavor® adds the fastest high-content cellular data generation to Ginkgo’s around-the-clock research

PORTLAND, Ore. and BOSTON, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Araceli Biosciences and Ginkgo Bioworks (NYSE: DNA) today announced the integration of Araceli’s Endeavor® high-content imaging instrument into Nebula, Ginkgo’s autonomous lab in Boston. The Endeavor, the world’s fastest high-content imaging system, brings cellular imaging with real-time analysis to Nebula’s existing technologies, giving researchers the large, curated datasets needed to train and validate drug discovery AI models.

Nebula is built on Ginkgo’s Reconfigurable Automation Carts (RACs). Each RAC is a modular unit that combines robotic arms, automated sample transport, and unified control software, so instruments can be added or rearranged as workflows change. Every day, dozens of scientists use the 100+ RACs on Nebula for real research, submitting protocols and getting their data the next day. Nebula does the work of many scientists autonomously and in parallel, running day and night and using around a third of the space as a traditional lab bench would need for the same work. .

Imaging a 1536-well plate in under four minutes, the Endeavor is integrated into Nebula’s RAC-based system and runs continuously alongside its always-on experiments. With Araceli’s ClaireRT™ software, the Endeavor analyzes every well as the image is captured. When a well falls outside defined criteria, the system can alert operators or Nebula, or halt imaging so issues are addressed before the experiment continues.

“The next generation of AI in drug discovery needs a completely different scale of biological data,” said Matt Beaudet, President and CEO of Araceli Biosciences. “The lab itself is changing. It now generates cellular data, interprets what it sees, and responds in real time. Ginkgo is doing that with Nebula, and Araceli brings high content imaging and real-time analysis into that loop at massive scale.”

“An autonomous lab gets more valuable every time you add a best-in-class instrument to it,” said Jason Kelly, co-founder and CEO of Ginkgo Bioworks. “With your own autonomous lab, any of your scientists can access the Endeavor’s best-in-class high-content imaging and connect it effortlessly to all of your other instruments. That’s what you get with an autonomous lab: the best tools in biology, connected into one system on the same software, running your experiments 24/7.”

Xsight Labs Expands E-Series DPU Portfolio with the E1L, a Fully Programmable DPU Starting at 25 Watts

Arm-based E1L delivers full DPU offload from 25 watts, on the same open software as the 800G E1

SAN JOSE, Calif. and TEL AVIV, Israel, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Xsight Labs today announced the E1L, the newest member of its E-Series data processing unit (DPU) portfolio. The E1L brings fully programmable DPU capability, at up to 200G, to as little as 25 watts TDP (15 watts typical) in its eight-core, 100G configuration, powered by Arm® Neoverse® N2 cores and designed for edge, embedded and other power-constrained infrastructure. Like the E1, it is built on open standards and runs standard software without proprietary licensing, and with full cross platform compatibility, software written for one, runs on the other.

For operators, bringing DPU offload into a power-constrained site has meant a proprietary software stack sized for one chip, or leaving offload out. The E1L changes that: full DPU offload from 25 watts, on the same architecture and software as the 800G E1, so an offload written once runs from a 25-watt DPU at the edge to an 800G DPU in the data center, on standard Linux tools and with no proprietary licensing.

AI is shifting from models that answer questions to agents that take action. Every agent query, lookup and tool call becomes traffic to databases, storage and the network, and that infrastructure work lands on the same host CPUs meant for the AI workload. Agents touching critical systems also raise the bar for isolation. The E1L takes that infrastructure work off the host, fully or in part, and runs it in a separate, isolated domain, at a power envelope that fits sites outside the data center.

The E1L is scheduled to begin sampling in the second quarter of 2027.

Open, programmable silicon for the modern data center
Unlike conventional network interfaces, DPUs offload networking, security and storage tasks from the main server CPU. A network interface card moves data; a DPU also carries its own processors and memory and runs the infrastructure software itself. By building on open standards, Xsight Labs provides a fully programmable, merchant-silicon alternative to proprietary DPUs, one that accelerates software-defined infrastructure without proprietary architectures or licensing.

The E1L: low-power DPU for edge and embedded systems
Engineered for space- and power-constrained environments and for embedded applications, where specialized data center cooling is limited or absent, the E1L brings fully programmable DPU capability, at up to 200 Gbps, with TDP from 25 W to 40 W and typical draw of 15 to 25 W. The power figure starts with the silicon: the E1L is built on TSMC’s N5 process, the same node as the E1, so it does the same work in a smaller form factor, with less energy and less heat.

Built on Arm Neoverse CSS N2 and designed for Arm SystemReady compatibility, the E1L runs standard Linux and familiar software frameworks including XDP, DPDK and SPDK, so infrastructure teams can develop and deploy programmable networking, storage and security services without a proprietary software environment. The E1L is offered as a discrete device, a COM Express module and a 1RU server, all sharing the same software and feature set. Alongside the 800G E1, which draws under 75 W, the E1L completes an E-Series that runs one software stack from 100G at the edge to 800G in the core.

E1L key specifications

Compute: 8, 16 or 22 Arm Neoverse N2 coresNetworking: up to 200 Gbps over 4 SerDes lanesMemory: up to 2 DDR5-5200 interfaces with inline encryptionSecurity: line-rate AES-GCM for IPsec offloadHost interface: 20 PCIe Gen5 lanes across 6 dual-mode controllers with SR-IOV supportPower: configurable 25 W, 30 W and 40 W TDP (typical draw 15 W, 18 W and 25 W)Software: off-the-shelf Linux distributions; XDP, DPDK and SPDK integration

“The E-Series now scales from 100 gigabits at the edge to 800 gigabits in the core on a unified architecture and software stack. Operators told us they needed DPU capability within the power envelopes they already rely on. The E1L delivers that,” said Yossi Meyouhas, CEO of Xsight Labs.

“AI infrastructure is expanding across a broader range of environments, making performance per watt and software flexibility critical for deployment. By building on Arm Neoverse CSS N2, Xsight Labs is bringing programmable, efficient compute from the edge to the data center while giving developers the benefits of a common software ecosystem,” said Eddie Ramirez, Vice President of Go-To-Market, Cloud AI, Arm.

Availability
The E1L is scheduled to begin sampling in the second quarter of 2027. Xsight Labs will present the E1L at the 2026 Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, October 12 to 15, in San Jose, as an OCP Bronze member.
