Frost & Sullivan Names Tatsoft a Visionary Leader in SCADA

Published

The Frost Radar™: SCADA for Industrial Control Environments, 2026 recognizes the FrameworX architecture, with AI engineering built on a Unified Namespace and knowledge graph.

HOUSTON, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Frost & Sullivan has named Tatsoft a Visionary Leader in the Frost Radar™: SCADA for Industrial Control Environments, 2026. The Frost Radar™ benchmarks supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) platforms on two indices, innovation and growth, and Visionary Leaders are the companies with a strong balance of both.

“Tatsoft’s combination of modern software architecture, embedded AI capabilities, and commercially disruptive licensing earns it a position among the Visionary Leaders, reflecting a strong innovation profile and significant growth potential,” said Sebastian Trolli, Research Director and Principal Analyst, Industrial Automation & Software, at Frost & Sullivan.

Frost & Sullivan’s profile of Tatsoft centers on FrameworX 10.1, released in May 2026, and on the architecture underneath it: a current .NET runtime, WebAssembly, so one build runs on desktop, web and mobile, deployment on Windows, Linux and Docker, and a Unified Namespace (UNS) and knowledge graph built into the platform. In practice, FrameworX 10.1 runs on .NET 10, a plant’s data sits in one namespace, and engineers extend the application in C#, VB.NET and Python 3. Frost & Sullivan describes the platform as “one of the most current architectures in this Frost Radar™ analysis.”

FrameworX is AI-Native by architecture: MCP servers for the Designer, the Console and the Runtime, plus an AI Tutor that adapts to each user’s knowledge and experience, all released and supported today. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, lets AI agents and human engineers work on the same platform surfaces. With the FrameworX AI Designer, the AI works on the actual project and its tags in a cooperative and protected environment: every change is visible, and nothing happens behind the scenes or without an engineer’s approval.

The FrameworX AI Runtime works with standard cloud models and equally with models installed on a local network with no connection to the internet. Each deployment can be given its own set of MCP Tools, so engineers and plant owners decide exactly what information operators and other applications can reach. Frost & Sullivan notes that SCADA customers often face data sovereignty, latency, cybersecurity and connectivity constraints that make cloud-only AI difficult. FrameworX meets that requirement: it connects to a model on the local network, or to external systems under cybersecurity best practices.

“Frost & Sullivan looked past the feature list to the architecture, and that is where FrameworX was designed from the start,” said Marc Taccolini, founder and CEO of Tatsoft. “FrameworX is one unified and integrated platform, with every module included and with the performance and reliability industrial operations require, at a cost that keeps your company competitive.”

Frost & Sullivan ties the architecture to modernization. Its profile says FrameworX gives Tatsoft “a software-architecture story that is stronger than traditional HMI modernization,” and that unlimited-capacity licensing “lowers switching friction for customers consolidating multiple legacy SCADA or connectivity licenses.” To make the upgrade of brownfield systems practical, Tatsoft is releasing a migration service built to update the technology with high reliability and at low cost. The application the plant runs stays the same; the platform and tools underneath it evolve. Automation and decades of experience make the process reliable.

The migration method and results are shown in the film “How to Migrate a Legacy SCADA Application: AI Builds the Screens, You Own the Model”: https://youtu.be/VSTt4nkqK1s

Any plant running a legacy HMI or SCADA application can send Tatsoft a read-only copy of it. The copy is held in confidence, used only to evaluate the upgrade, and the report goes only to its owner. The assessment is free and takes 2 to 5 working days. If the plant goes ahead, the migration is a fixed price quoted from that report, and it is paid only if the plant accepts the result of the first migration pass. Specific field integrations, validation and field commissioning are done by the plant or contracted through Tatsoft’s network of system integrators.

HelloNation Examines Repair vs Replace HVAC Decisions With Insights From HVAC Expert Leslie Roe

Published

The article outlines key factors that influence cost, efficiency, and long-term home comfort.

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Nov. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — What should homeowners consider first when deciding between repair vs replace HVAC systems? The answer is explored in a HelloNation article that offers guidance and features insights from HVAC Expert Leslie Roe of Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems in Traverse City, Michigan.

The HelloNation article explains that HVAC system age is one of the most important factors in the repair-versus-replace decision. Systems typically last 10 to 15 years, and as HVAC systems age, the likelihood of costly breakdowns increases. The article notes that when a unit nears the end of its expected lifespan, replacement may offer more value than repeated furnace repair or temporary fixes.

Maintenance history also plays a central role in evaluating repair vs replace HVAC options. The article describes how a consistent maintenance history often leads to better performance and fewer disruptions. In contrast, poor maintenance history can lead to recurring HVAC issues that drive up repair costs over time. HVAC Expert Leslie Roe emphasizes in the article that recurring HVAC issues often signal that replacement should be considered more seriously.

The article also examines the type and severity of system problems. Minor issues, such as thermostat malfunctions or small leaks, may require only furnace repair or targeted service. However, multiple component failures and recurring HVAC issues often point to a system that can no longer operate efficiently. In these cases, the article explains that repair may provide only short-term relief, while AC replacement may offer a more stable long-term solution.

Energy use is another major factor discussed in the article. Older systems tend to lack modern heating and cooling efficiency, leading to higher monthly utility costs. The article highlights that upgrading to an AC replacement can significantly improve heating and cooling efficiency while reducing strain on the system. Improved heating and cooling efficiency not only lowers expenses but also enhances year-round home comfort.

Comfort and performance are closely tied to system condition. The article notes that uneven temperatures, weak airflow, and frequent cycling can reduce home comfort and signal deeper system problems. HVAC Expert Leslie Roe explains in the article that maintaining home comfort is often easier with newer systems designed for consistent performance. While furnace repair may temporarily restore function, long-term home comfort is often improved by replacement when systems are outdated.

Budget considerations are also addressed in the HelloNation article. Repair costs are usually lower at first, making furnace repair an appealing short-term option. However, the article explains that repeated repairs tied to recurring HVAC issues can quickly add up. AC replacement requires a higher upfront investment, but it can reduce future expenses and improve heating and cooling efficiency over time.

The article concludes that evaluating HVAC system age, maintenance history, repair frequency, and overall home comfort helps homeowners make informed decisions. By carefully weighing repair vs replace HVAC options, homeowners can better manage costs and system reliability. Consulting a qualified HVAC Expert is recommended to assess current performance and provide a clear path forward based on individual needs.

Should You Repair or Replace Your HVAC System? What Homeowners Should Consider First features insights from Leslie Roe, an HVAC expert at Precision Plumbing and Heating in Traverse City, Michigan, on HelloNation.
