GOFO becomes a carrier partner of Peoples Post ahead of the year-end peak

Published

on

MARLY-LA-VILLE, France, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — GOFO France, a last-mile delivery specialist, announces a strategic partnership with Peoples Post, a French e-commerce logistics provider (3PL). The partnership integrates GOFO France’s home delivery services into Peoples Post’s carrier network. It gives e-merchants new delivery options to handle peak activity, especially in the run-up to Black Friday and the holiday season.

The partnership brings together Peoples Post’s storage, fulfilment and logistics solutions and GOFO France’s last-mile delivery network. Its aim is to support merchants in managing their shipments at a time when rising order volumes call for close coordination between fulfilment and delivery.

A new delivery option that fits existing operations

Peoples Post handles logistics for online stores, from receiving goods to shipping orders. By adding GOFO to its network of partner carriers, the logistics provider expands its home delivery offers. It can now offer this option for shipments to areas served by GOFO across metropolitan France.

GOFO’s offer plugs directly into Peoples Post’s shipping management tool. E-merchants keep organizing their flows with the same point of contact and simply have one more carrier to choose from when shipping.

For GOFO, the partnership is part of a wider effort to work more closely with local logistics providers, who support the growth of e-commerce brands day by day. Peoples Post customers can access GOFO delivery without changing anything in how they operate.

A network geared up for the year-end peak

GOFO serves 90% of the population of mainland France. Its home delivery offer includes real-time tracking, photo PoD and up to three delivery attempts, giving merchants and recipients greater visibility over their parcels’ journey.

The network relies on sorting infrastructure and proprietary routing technology to organize flows and delivery rounds. GOFO France is also preparing to commission new automated sorting systems at its multiple sorting and transit hubs in Q4 2026.

“This partnership makes our delivery offer available to the e-merchants supported by Peoples Post, without disrupting their existing logistics setup. As the year-end peak approaches, our goal is to give them an additional option that combines reliability, shipment visibility and operational simplicity,” says Frédéric Coquard, Head of Sales at GOFO France.

“Our customers need delivery solutions suited to their orders and their recipients. Bringing GOFO into our network broadens the range of options we can offer them, while keeping their support centralized at Peoples Post. It’s a valuable addition as they prepare for the end of the year, and to support their growth beyond this period,” says Gabriel Diaz, CEO of Peoples Post.

Key Takeaways

Cablenet has selected Harmonic’s cOS™ virtualized broadband platform to modernize its DOCSIS access network. The distributed access architecture (DAA) deployment supports Cablenet’s delivery of high-performance gigabit speeds and future speed tiers over its access networks. The cOS platform simplifies operations, enhances subscriber QoE and lowers OPEX.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT) today announced that Cablenet Communication Systems plc (“Cablenet”), the second largest fixed network operator in Cyprus and a leading converged fixed and mobile operator, is modernizing its broadband access network with Harmonic’s market-leading cOS™ virtualized broadband platform. The deployment strengthens Cablenet’s gigabit service capability, simplifies network operations and enhances subscribers’ quality of experience (QoE).

“The real measure of network modernization is the difference it makes for our customers,” said Panayiotis Kouloumbrides, Chief Core Networks Officer at Cablenet. “Harmonic’s cOS platform strengthens our DOCSIS 3.1+ network footprint, giving our customers fast, consistent gigabit broadband they can count on today, tomorrow and always, with a clear path to even higher speeds. We believe that broadband should simply work for our customers, every time.”

A Platform Built for the Next Generation of Broadband

With Harmonic’s virtualized cOS platform in a DAA with low-power Oyster nodes, Cablenet can introduce significantly higher speeds across its footprint and efficiently scale services as subscriber needs evolve. The cOS software-based platform also preserves flexibility for Cablenet’s longer-term multi-technology network strategy.

Consolidating Infrastructure and Reducing OPEX

The cOS platform supports Cablenet’s approach to consolidating data centers and simplifying hub-site infrastructure as part of the operator’s cost-optimization initiative. By moving network functions from legacy hardware to Harmonic’s software-based platform, the operator can reduce space, power and wiring requirements and lower OPEX while streamlining operations.

Gaining Access to Operational Intelligence

With the transition to the cOS platform, Cablenet can now access Harmonic’s Central AI-driven network intelligence for greater network visibility, more efficient monitoring, faster troubleshooting and improved service assurance.

“Operators need a practical path to enhance services today while preserving the flexibility to evolve their networks for tomorrow,” said Stefan Meier, Vice President of Sales, Europe, at Harmonic. “Our cOS platform provides Cablenet with a strong foundation to modernize its network, simplify operations and deliver a superior broadband experience. We’re pleased to support Cablenet’s forward-looking network strategy and its commitment to delivering faster, more consistent connectivity and a better quality of experience for its subscribers.”
