As Information Accelerates, Judgment Becomes the Differentiator

Signal & Anomaly named to the 2026 Inc. Power Partners list as organizations confront the widening distance between knowing more and acting in time

ATLANTA, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Organizations have unprecedented access to data, analytics and artificial intelligence. Yet many of the decisions that determine whether a business grows, adapts or loses ground still depend on recognizing what is changing before conventional reporting makes the consequences obvious.

“The work is learning to recognize what is changing while there is still time to make a different decision.” – Paul L. Gunn, Jr, Founder, Signal & Anomaly

Customer confidence can shift before revenue reflects it. Supplier conditions can deteriorate before a delivery fails. Integration problems can form before a milestone is missed. By the time the numbers confirm the pattern, leaders may have fewer options available to them.

That distance between information and timely judgment is the operating problem at the center of Signal & Anomaly, an advisory firm working across complex B2B, industrial, supply-chain, growth and execution environments. Its approach examines dependencies, incentives, relationships and emerging exceptions that influence decisions long before their full effects appear in a dashboard.

Against that backdrop, Signal & Anomaly has been named to the 2026 Inc. Power Partners list, which recognizes B2B organizations for the impact of their work with clients and business partners. The recognition places the firm within a broader conversation about what organizations need from trusted partners when information alone is insufficient.

From information to judgment

Signal & Anomaly was established around a simple operating premise: complex organizations frequently possess more information than they can convert into timely judgment. The challenge is not always to gather another data point, but to recognize which signals matter while there is still time to act.

“Numbers remain essential, but they often confirm conditions that were forming much earlier,” said Paul L. Gunn Jr, founder of Signal & Anomaly. “The work is learning to recognize what is changing while there is still time to make a different decision.”

That perspective grew from years of operating experience across procurement and supply ecosystems, where choices involved manufacturers, suppliers, customers, operational requirements and competing constraints. In those environments, decisions did not end with a recommendation; their consequences returned through execution.

The firm applies that consequence-trained perspective to strategic judgment, operating decisions and the transition from intent to execution. Rather than claim certainty about the future, the work seeks to improve an organization’s ability to notice changing conditions, test assumptions and adapt before consequence removes optionality.

Recognition of the partnership behind the work

Inc.’s Power Partners program recognizes B2B companies that support the organizations they serve. For Signal & Anomaly, the recognition underscores the value of external partners able to connect strategic decisions with the operating and human systems through which those decisions must be carried out.

“Business owners have no shortage of tools at their disposal, and B2B companies need to make clear why their products and services are worth the investment,” says Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. “The companies on this year’s Power Partners list have done just that. They don’t just have customers – they have superfans and evangelists. Across industries like marketing, financial services, and technology, they’ve proved their dedication to helping fellow business owners grow and succeed.”

Technology continues to accelerate the collection and interpretation of information. When conditions depart from the model, however, judgment remains consequential. Organizations that recognize those departures early gain something difficult to recover once lost: time.

Time to question an assumption. Time to protect a relationship. Time to redirect resources. Time to make a decision before circumstances make it for them.

AglaiaSense and Leopard Imaging to Demonstrate Privacy-First AI Traffic Sensing at Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona

FREMONT, Calif. and BARCELONA, Spain, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — AglaiaSense and Leopard Imaging will exhibit together at Smart City Expo World Congress, November 3–5, 2026, at Fira Barcelona Gran Vía.

The two companies proposed AI-VIVA (Vision Intelligence for València and Arterials) and is selected as a finalist in the fifth urban challenge of Barcelona Innova Lab Mobility (BILM), on the application of artificial intelligence to traffic-light regulation. AI-VIVA combines AglaiaSense’s edge-AI traffic solutions with Leopard Imaging’s patented privacy architecture. At the show, the team will give a live demonstration of AglaiaSense’s signature MS500 and GS500 cameras, with the AglaiaSense AI Box, powered by NVIDIA, which adds local processing to coordinate groups of neighboring intersections.

The cameras analyze images inside the device, using the Sony IMX500 and IMX501 intelligent vision sensors. They count and classify vehicles, buses, cyclists and pedestrians in real time. Raw video is discarded on the device within 400–800 milliseconds, and only anonymous metadata is transmitted. Cities can feed that data into signal-control software to adapt traffic lights to real demand.

MS500: about 2 W average power, 1080p, powered from a standard NEMA or ZHAGA street-light socket.

GS500: about 6.5 W average, dual 4K cameras, with Ethernet, LTE Cat 4 and GPS; powered by PoE, 12–24 V DC or a NEMA adapter.

Both cameras: IP66-rated, −20 °C to +65 °C, mounted on existing poles, so no trenching or new masts are needed.

Bandwidth: more than 95% lower than CCTV-based monitoring.

“Cities want safer, smoother streets without turning every crossing into a surveillance point,” said Leon Luo, CEO of AglaiaSense. “Being named a finalist in Barcelona tells us the approach resonates.”

“Privacy has to be built into the camera, not added later,” said Bill Pu, CEO of Leopard Imaging.

AglaiaSense’s solutions are deployed across North America and Asia, and the company won first place in the Pedestrian Safety Challenge Hackathon, run by the Edge AI Foundation (formerly the tinyML Foundation) and the City of San José. In field tests, the systems achieved detection and counting accuracy above 95%. The City of Lakewood, Colorado, compared the GS500 with traditional IP cameras and LiDAR on real roads and found it more accurate, more energy-efficient, and less costly to deploy. At a high-risk crossing where pedestrians often crossed outside the crosswalk, the system alerted approaching drivers in real time.

Visit us at Pavilion 3, Level 0, Street D, Stand 71. To book a meeting, email sales@aglaiasense.com.

About AglaiaSense
