Systech Launches New All-in-One Pharma Packaging and Serialization Stations

Published

on

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Systech, part of Markem-Imaje and Dover and a leading provider of pharmaceutical serialization and traceability solutions, today announced the launch of two new integrated packaging solutions designed to help pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) increase automation, improve operational efficiency and enhance production flexibility.

The new ST15S Semi-Automated Serialization and Aggregation Station and ST16P Multi-Aggregation and Automated Label Print & Apply Station operate seamlessly with industry-leading UniSeries® software, integrating critical packaging, serialization, aggregation and labeling functions into compact, easy-to-deploy systems. By consolidating multiple processes within a single station, these systems help manufacturers reduce complexity, optimize labor resources and improve packaging productivity without requiring significant line modifications or facility expansion.

“Packaging operations today are under constant pressure to increase output, maintain compliance and do more with constrained labor and facility resources,” said Steve Engdahl, Vice President of Product at Systech. “The ST15S and ST16P were developed to help manufacturers automate critical packaging processes without introducing additional complexity. By bringing serialization, aggregation, rework and labeling capabilities together within integrated systems, customers can streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.”

The ST15S Semi-Automated Serialization and Aggregation Station combines semi-automated serialization, manual case aggregation, pallet aggregation and rework capabilities within a single workstation. Functions that traditionally require multiple stations for printing, inspection, aggregation and rework can now be performed through a unified system managed from one interface. By reducing operator handoffs and consolidating workflows, the ST15S helps minimize product handling and simplify day-to-day packaging activities.

The ST16P Multi-Aggregation and Automated Label Print & Apply Station combines semi-automated Pack-by-Layer aggregation with automated label printing and application in a single ergonomic platform. By integrating multiple aggregation processes and automating label management, the system helps teams reduce manual intervention, improve consistency, and perform aggregation activities more efficiently while supporting compliance requirements.

“Our product strategy begins with understanding the day-to-day challenges packaging teams face on the production floor,” continued Engdahl. “Those insights guide us toward opportunities where automation can reduce complexity and strengthen overall packaging performance. The ST15S and ST16P reflect that customer-driven approach by delivering practical automation solutions that help manufacturers enhance productivity while remaining adaptable to changing production requirements.”

Available now, these new systems expand Systech’s integrated packaging, serialization and traceability portfolio. Built on proven Systech platforms, the ST15S and ST16P can be deployed as part of an existing Systech-managed line or alongside third-party equipment already in place, avoiding the cost and disruption of a complete line redesign. By bringing greater automation to established packaging environments, the systems help manufacturers optimize workflows, protect existing technology investments and add advanced packaging capabilities.

New offering gives developers, students, and customers access to the full power of Workato’s enterprise-grade engine to build AI agents and MCP servers

SINGAPORE, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Workato®, the leading Control and Execution Platform for Enterprise AI, today announced the launch of a new self-service offering that gives customers, developers, and students across Asia access to the Workato platform to govern and scale their AI initiatives, including building and productionizing AI agents and MCP servers.

Making AI accessible has been at the heart of Workato’s mission the past several years. Through the AI Institute Alliance, unveiled in September 2025, Workato partnered with leading institutes of higher learning across Singapore, including Nanyang Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, the Singapore University of Social Sciences, and the National University of Singapore. The initiative equipped students and educators with automation and AI skills.

The AI Lab, which opened a year later, extended that commitment further into the public sector through its partnership with EDB, and into inclusive hiring through SG Enable.

The newly launched self-serve platform will provide users access to:

A free account to start building immediately, with the option to upgrade to a paid plan, no contract required, as projects growThe ability to build recipes, Agents/Genies, and MCP servers directly on the platformThe same governed, enterprise-grade engine that powers Workato’s largest deploymentsA path built for independent developers, students, and small teams, as well as large enterprises

Since launching in 2026 in North America, Workato has seen rapid growth in the builder community. The platform is enterprise grade, but free to get started. As builders solve problems for their business, they can grow by upgrading to a paid plan. With this launch in Singapore, Workato is making an investment in the local builder community.

“The next era of AI won’t be defined by who has access to intelligence, but by who can turn it into action. We’re putting the same enterprise-grade power trusted by the world’s largest companies into the hands of every builder. We want everyone to be able to transform how their business operates,” said Rishi Mallik, Chief Growth Officer, Workato.

Workato showcased its self-serve platform and broader community initiatives at World of Workato (WOW) 2026 in Singapore.
