ABZ Innovation’s new industrial cleaning drone expands Drone Nerds’ offerings for infrastructure maintenance and facility cleaning applications

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — XTI Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq: XTIA) (“XTI Aerospace,” “XTI” or the “Company”), an aerospace and advanced technology platform and parent company of Drone Nerds, LLC (“Drone Nerds”), a drone solutions platform serving commercial, enterprise and government customers, today announced the addition of the new ABZ Innovation C30 high-pressure cleaning drone to Drone Nerds’ enterprise solutions portfolio.

Developed by ABZ Innovation, the C30 is designed for industrial cleaning and surface maintenance applications involving buildings, infrastructure, heavy machinery, and other difficult-to-access surfaces.

The C30 is an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) that works with compatible ground-based pressure washing equipment to deliver a high-pressure water jet to elevated surfaces. The platform provides an additional approach to cleaning tasks that may otherwise involve scaffolding, industrial rope access or other access equipment, depending on site conditions and project requirements.

“The C30 strengthens Drone Nerds’ position in industrial cleaning and broadens our ability to serve enterprise customers managing critical infrastructure,” said Jeremy Schneiderman, CEO of Drone Nerds. “Our strategy is to deliver end-to-end solutions that combine specialized aircraft, compatible ground equipment, training, and ongoing support to help customers build and scale their drone cleaning operations.”

High-Pressure Aerial Cleaning for Industrial Applications

The C30 operates with specially adapted ground-based washing equipment. ABZ Innovation’s technical overview identifies two recommended ground equipment configurations, allowing the system to be configured according to the cleaning task and surface requirements.

Key specifications and intended applications include:

Ground Equipment Configurations: ABZ Innovation recommends specially adapted ground washing equipment operating at approximately 7,250 pounds per square inch (psi), equivalent to 500 bar, with a water flow rate of approximately 7.9 gallons per minute (30 liters per minute). A smaller configuration operates at approximately 7,250 psi (500 bar) with a flow rate of approximately 4 gallons per minute (15 liters per minute). These specifications refer to the ground washing equipment; actual delivery at the nozzle depends on the complete system configuration.Radar-Assisted Surface Tracking: According to ABZ Innovation, the C30 incorporates an integrated radar system for surface tracking during cleaning operations.Industrial Surface Maintenance: Intended applications include cleaning steel frameworks, bridges, industrial building exteriors, silos, tanks and piping.Surface Preparation: ABZ Innovation identifies paint, coating and rust removal among the system’s intended applications, subject to appropriate equipment settings and surface suitability.Heavy Equipment Cleaning: Intended applications include cleaning excavators, mining equipment, industrial cranes, concrete and formwork.Heated-Water Cleaning: ABZ Innovation describes compatible ground equipment capable of supplying heated water for cleaning applications involving oily and greasy residues.

Operating pressure, water flow, nozzles and water temperature must be selected according to the surface and cleaning objective. Actual cleaning results depend on the complete system configuration, surface characteristics, deposits, operating parameters, and environmental conditions.
