HOUSTON, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Genesis and Genesis Inspiration Foundation are expanding opportunities for young people across Texas to learn, create, and explore their potential through science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education. Genesis Gives, the corporate social responsibility initiative of Genesis Motor America, brought an interactive STEAM workshop focused on automotive innovation to high school students at Cristo Rey Boys & Girls Club. Genesis Inspiration Foundation donated $25,000 to Segundo Barrio Children’s Chorus to help provide children and families with music education and performance opportunities that celebrate the unique cultural identity of Segundo Barrio/East End.

“Innovation begins with imagination,” said Brandon Ramirez, director, corporate social responsibility, Genesis Motor America, and board member, Genesis Inspiration Foundation. “Whether students are expressing themselves through music or imagining the future of mobility, we want to create opportunities that spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence. NewCore Wins 2026 Cyber Top Innovator for Bringing Human Accountability to AI Agents

Enterprise Security Tech recognizes NewCore’s unified identity platform for human and AI agent access, which gives every agent its own identity, a human owner, and governance enforced at runtime

TEL AVIV and SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — NewCore, the agentic identity company, today announced that it has been recognized in the Enterprise Security Tech Cyber Top Innovations Awards for its approach to securing and governing an increasingly agentic workforce. The award highlights NewCore Agent Guardian, which brings governance and accountability to AI agents.

AI agents are entering the workforce at a growing pace. They operate with enterprise privileges, access sensitive applications and data, and take action across multiple systems, often without a person overseeing each step. Identity was already the primary attack vector before agents arrived. Now enterprises must answer harder questions: which agents are running, what each one can do, how their actions are controlled, and who is accountable when they act? Traditional identity platforms were never designed for this reality.

Enterprise Security Tech cited NewCore for governing AI agents with the same accountability and security controls enterprises already apply to their people. NewCore treats every agent as a first-class identity, right alongside humans, governed through one identity core.

“AI agents are multiplying faster than most enterprises can govern them, and every agent needs the same accountability we expect from people,” said Zohar Alon, Co-founder and CEO of NewCore. “No security team can review everything an agent does, and none should have to. Human judgment belongs on the sensitive actions, with policy handling the rest. NewCore enforces policy-based guardrails, eliminates standing secrets, and scopes every permission to a specific task. For the most sensitive actions, it puts human review and approval literally in the palm of your hand. Thank you to Enterprise Security Tech for recognizing this approach.”

Every Agent Seen, Known, and Controlled

Traditional identity systems were designed primarily around human users and applications operating with relatively predictable permissions. Autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents introduce a different challenge. They can initiate actions, interact with multiple systems, and make decisions at machine speed, often without a person overseeing each step.

NewCore governs what agents can do, not just whether they can connect to a system. Key capabilities include:

An identity and an owner for every agent. Each AI agent receives its own identity, a defined human owner, scoped permissions, and a managed lifecycle. A live identity graph discovers agents, accounts, applications, and the access relationships between them.Just-in-time, least-privilege credentials. Agents receive narrowly scoped, short-lived credentials for authorized tasks, eliminating broad standing access.Runtime policy on every tool call. Policies evaluate each tool call as it happens, permitting routine activity, blocking prohibited actions, and preventing agents from exceeding the authority delegated to them. Natural-language policy creation simplifies administration and identifies conflicts before policies are deployed.Biometric human approval for high-risk actions. When an agent attempts a sensitive operation, its owner receives an approval request on their mobile device and confirms or denies it with biometric verification.Immutable accountability. Audit trails connect every agent action to its responsible owner, the policy applied, and the approval decision, establishing exactly who authorized what, when, and why.Immediate revocation. Security teams can remove an agent’s access the moment its activity falls outside established boundaries or is no longer required.

These capabilities are delivered through NewCore’s unified identity platform, which brings authentication, authorization, security, and governance for human and agent identities into a single architecture. It can be deployed alongside an enterprise’s current identity platform.

The Enterprise Security Tech recognition highlights the growing importance of identity security as organizations deploy AI agents that do more than assist employees. By governing what agents can do, not just whether they can connect to a system, NewCore helps enterprises expand productivity while retaining the security controls and accountability required for today’s agentic workforce.

Ekinops and Orange Business collaborate on decarbonization plan

Published

PARIS, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ekinops (Euronext Paris: EKI) (ISIN: FR0011466069), a leading provider of optical networks, connectivity and SASE cybersecurity solutions for telecom service providers and enterprises,  announce its association with Orange Business to advance its decarbonization efforts and contribute to Orange Group’s ambitious goal of achieving Net-Zero emissions by 2040.

The decarbonization plan aligns Orange Business with Orange Group’s ‘Trust the Future’ strategy to build growth around trust, innovation and sustainability. Read the original press release

Most of Orange Business’s carbon footprint lies in Scope 3 emissions¹. Last year, 81% of emissions came from equipment purchases, customer equipment use, services, and other purchases, with equipment and customer use making up 43%. The plan aims to target these areas with Ekinops, while paving the way for future supplier collaborations.

“This decarbonization plan reflects a true partnership focused on measurable environmental benefits,” says Sébastien Bernard, Corporate Sustainability & Risks Manager at Ekinops. “It aligns with our climate goals and elevates both companies’ environmental commitments.”

Ekinops will keep improving the measure of its products’ carbon footprint, identify reduction opportunities in manufacturing, usage, and logistics, and track environmental performance over time. It will also assess energy use across configurations and design modular, repairable, and recyclable products. Long-term, Ekinops aims to increase renewable and low-carbon energy in manufacturing. In turn, Orange Business will incorporate supplier innovations into network and product designs, integrating these innovations into future solutions.

“The decarbonization plan is an important milestone in embedding sustainability across our operations and supply chain,” says Sandra Servières, Orange Business Chief Procurement Officer. “By working closely with partners, we can accelerate the transition to a low-carbon digital future and create lasting value for our organizations, communities, our customers, and the environment.”

Palmetto Publishing Releases New Book Exploring Grief Through Evocative Imagery

Published

Newly published by Palmetto Publishing, Picturing Grief pairs twenty striking images with reflective text to offer a visceral companion for those navigating profound loss.

CHARLESTON, S.C., Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Palmetto Publishing has released Picturing Grief, a new book by Michelle Scoville that pairs twenty evocative images with accompanying text to illuminate the depth and complexity of traumatic grief. The book draws directly from Scoville’s experience of losing her husband of forty years and offers a unique and moving alternative to traditional grief literature.

Rather than following a conventional self-help format, Picturing Grief presents a series of image-and-text pairings designed to give shape to emotions that words alone struggle to convey. A tsunami poised to crash onto a quiet beach. A tunnel of fire with no shortcut through. A regiment of daily tasks dissolving like smoke before the griever can rise from bed. Each pairing emerged from Scoville’s own imagination and grief, offering readers mirrors that reflect experiences they may have felt but have never been able to articulate.

The book confronts what Scoville identifies as the central frustration of grief: the inadequacy of language. Traditional resources, from books to podcasts to counseling sessions, rely on words to translate a loss that reshapes a person’s identity, cognition, and sense of the world. Picturing Grief does not attempt to guide readers toward recovery or offer a timeline for healing. Instead, it sits with the weight of loss and validates the upheaval without rushing past it.

The book is positioned for adults navigating the aftermath of significant loss, particularly the death of a spouse or life partner, who have found conventional grief resources insufficient. It shares shelf space with titles such as Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking and Megan Devine’s It’s OK That You’re Not OK. Scoville, a certified Death Doula, editor, and graphic designer, brings both professional visual expertise and lived experience to the work. Her background in communications and design informs the book’s distinctive image-driven approach to a subject most literature addresses through prose alone.

Picturing Grief is available for purchase online at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.

About the Author: Michelle Scoville is a certified Death Doula, author, editor, and graphic designer whose career has included publication development, communications and visual design. Following the death of her husband, she dedicated herself to supporting individuals and families navigating end-of-life challenges and profound loss. Combining her professional expertise with her personal experience of grief, she created Picturing Grief, a unique collection of evocative images and reflective text designed to express what words alone cannot.
