Featuring Adaptive Hybrid ANC and the all-new DCAA™ Dual-Coaxial Acoustic Architecture, EarFun’s new flagship over-ear headphones deliver reference-grade sound and up to 90 hours of battery life.

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — EarFun, a leading name in audio innovation, today announced the launch of the Wave Pro X, the world’s first dual-coaxial headphones with Qualcomm® ANC technology and Auracast support. Set to release on 3rd September 2026, the Wave Pro X is defined by two signature innovations: Adaptive Real-time Hybrid ANC, a smarter, more responsive approach to noise cancellation, and DCAA™ (Dual-Coaxial Acoustic Architecture), an entirely re-engineered driver system built for uncompromising sound quality.

“The Wave Pro X represents a new benchmark for what wireless headphones can deliver,” said Rocky Deng, Chief Technology Officer at EarFun. “With Adaptive Hybrid ANC and our new DCAA™ acoustic architecture working together, we’ve built a headphone that listens to its environment and responds to it in real time — silencing the world around you while delivering sound with extreme precision.”

Powered by Qualcomm® Technologies’ Latest Flagship Chip for Sound

At the heart of the Wave Pro X is the Snapdragon® S3 Gen 1 Sound Platform (Qualcomm® QCC3095), the company’s newest flagship chip for sound, delivering major gains in wireless connectivity, sound quality, and noise cancellation. The platform also enables support for Snapdragon Sound™ Technology Suite, helping deliver premium wireless audio with high-fidelity music, ultra-low latency, and superior connectivity when paired with compatible devices enabled with Snapdragon Sound technology. The chip enables Bluetooth 6.0, the latest wireless standard, for faster pairing and data transfer speeds, along with improved battery efficiency over previous generations. Security is enhanced through industry-standard Dynamic Encryption (DES) and Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), keeping wireless connections protected. The Wave Pro X also supports Google Fast Pair for quick, easy setup, and Auracast, enabling easy multi-device audio sharing and group listening.

Adaptive Hybrid ANC: Noise Cancellation That Reads the Room

At the core of the Wave Pro X experience is Adaptive Hybrid ANC, EarFun’s most advanced noise cancellation system to date. Rather than applying a single, fixed level of cancellation, the system continuously analyzes the surrounding sound environment and adjusts feedback and feed-forward filtering in real time — deepening cancellation in loud, chaotic spaces like transit and open offices, and easing off in quieter settings to preserve natural sound and reduce listening fatigue. This dynamic response is made possible by the Wave Pro X’s industry-leading 8-microphone hybrid system, which also delivers precise voice capture and effective suppression of environmental noise on calls, even in busy, wind-prone conditions.

Adaptive Hybrid ANC isn’t limited to wireless use, either. The Wave Pro X supports full Hybrid ANC over a USB or AUX wired connection, so listeners never have to sacrifice noise cancellation for flexibility — whether they’re on a flight, at a desk, or streaming from a device without Bluetooth.

DCAA™: A New Architecture for Sound

Sound on the Wave Pro X is shaped by DCAA™ (Dual-Coaxial Acoustic Architecture), EarFun’s re-engineering of wireless acoustic dynamics from the ground up. Rather than positioning drivers as separate components, DCAA™ arranges a 40mm DLC dynamic driver and a 10mm LCP driver along a shared coaxial axis, built with extreme mechanical precision so both drivers fire from a single, aligned acoustic center instead of competing across separate paths. An AI-driven crossover sync manages the handoff between drivers in real time, continuously routing frequencies so bass, mids, and highs stay phase-aligned no matter how complex the track. The result is deep, controlled bass, natural midrange, and extended top-end clarity that stays coherent across a wide dynamic range, rather than the smeared or disjointed sound that can come from mismatched driver timing.

DCAA™ is paired with equally serious source support. The Wave Pro X supports Qualcomm® aptX™ Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC, plays Lossless Audio tracks, and is Hi-Res Audio certified, ensuring the architecture is fed studio-quality signal from virtually any source. Thanks to LE Audio efficiency, the Wave Pro X delivers up to 90 hours of total battery life, letting listeners go days without recharging. When a wired connection is preferred, or charging isn’t an option, USB Audio keeps high-quality listening going without interruption.

Built for Gaming, Calls, and Everyday Life

Gamers can enable Ultra-Low Latency Game Mode through the EarFun Audio App, which also serves as the hub for customizing the full Wave Pro X listening experience, keeping visuals and sound perfectly in sync during gaming and video. The Multipoint Connection feature makes it effortless to switch between a Bluetooth-enabled console and portable devices, while built-in support for voice assistants keeps hands-free control just a word away. Rounding out the experience, the Wave Pro X is built with an ergonomic, comfort-first design for stable, comfortable wear during extended listening sessions — everyday performance to match its flagship features.

Pricing and Availability

The EarFun Wave Pro X now available on EarFun’s official website and Amazon store at $129.99.

Aurzen Unveils ZIP Pro at IFA 2026: The World’s First Tri-Fold Full HD Pocket Projector Built for Mobile Life

Published

on

By

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 3, 2026 /CNW/ — Aurzen today introduced ZIP Pro, the world’s first tri-fold Full HD pocket projector. Built for mobile life, ZIP Pro combines a tri-fold design, native 1080p Full HD viewing, and portable operation in one device, bringing a more flexible big-screen experience to everyday use.

As the world’s first tri-fold pocket projector, ZIP Pro introduces a new projector format built around mobility instead of fixed placement. It is designed to bring Full HD viewing to the moments and spaces where a traditional TV or fixed projector setup is less practical, while keeping setup simple and the form factor easy to carry.

Aurzen built ZIP Pro to cut the tradeoffs that often keep portable projectors from being truly portable. It features the world’s first 10.7mm ultra-slim optical engine, measures just 487cc, and weighs 586g. Its signature Z-shape tri-fold structure also works as a built-in multi-angle stand, while Time-of-Flight (ToF) autofocus and four-point keystone correction help users unfold, place, and start watching with minimal adjustment.

ZIP Pro’s design philosophy is expressed by a formula engraved directly on the device:

Vmin ≈ Φmax / (η • κ)

For Aurzen, the formula captures the tradeoff between size, brightness, optical efficiency, and thermal efficiency. Instead of adding brightness by increasing size, weight, and cooling load, ZIP Pro was engineered to deliver 200 ANSI lumens and native 1080p Full HD in a truly pocketable form. The result is image performance tuned for dark-room and evening viewing without losing the portability that defines the product.

ZIP Pro is also built to make connection and playback more direct for a projector this compact. It supports AirPlay, Miracast, DLNA, and Google Cast, while AirLink P2P enables screen mirroring even without Wi-Fi. A USB-C port with DP Alt Mode allows direct wired projection from compatible phones and laptops, and ZIP Pro also introduces an industry-first Type-C direct projection for Nintendo Switch, supported by a dedicated Game Mode for faster response.

For private and mobile viewing, ZIP Pro supports 60-80 inch viewing in dark environments, with dual 2W stereo speakers and whisper-quiet operation as low as 24dB. An industry-first dual Bluetooth headphone output allows two people to listen privately at the same time. For mobile-first content, Vertical Full-Screen Mode fills the wall with vertical video without black bars, while an industry-first Smart Touch Display puts battery level, connection status, and controls directly on the device.

For portable use, ZIP Pro includes a built-in 38Wh battery for up to 2.5 hours of viewing and supports 65W PD charging via USB-C, making it easier to keep the device ready between uses and between destinations.

Mark your calendar: Aurzen’s online launch event for ZIP Pro will premiere on the Official YouTube channel. Tune in to the full reveal at youtu.be/GGA3hAlvdZc.

Aurzen ZIP Pro is now available for pre-order at aurzen.com with a list price of $629.99 and a limited-time introductory price of $579.99.

Lingverse Debuts Ensouled AI Operating System, LifeOS, in First Public Look at Modular AI Wearable iKairos

Published

At IFA 2026, Lingverse offers the first real-world look at iKairos’ modular design and unveils LifeOS, its operating system built for the physical world

BERLIN, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Lingverse, a Singapore-based smart hardware and AI company pioneering context-aware AI systems, is debuting its human-machine interaction operating system, LifeOS, which forms the foundation that powers the modular AI wearable iKairos, being revealed at IFA 2026 today.

Uniquely designed to capture multiple perspectives and learn from the user’s personal preferences, routine and surrounding environment, iKairos takes the form of a circular pendant and acts as a ‘Neural Core’ that can be inserted into a wide ecosystem of hardware bodies and accessories. At its launch, iKairos will initially come housed within the body of a diminutive desktop robot designed to observe and interact with users, while also being removable and fitted into a wearable necklace for an entirely different perspective.

Unlike other wearable AI devices on the market, iKairos is the first to observe the world from multiple perspectives, enabling it to capture richer contextual data about the user, their surroundings and even their relationships with others. Its observations are fed into Lingverse’s human-machine interaction operating system, LifeOS.

Introducing LifeOS, Ensouled Intelligence Powering iKairos as a Neural Core

Designed to surface useful suggestions based on the user’s preferences, LifeOS on iKairos centralizes observations about routines, personality and relationships, from how the wearer works to how they live, alongside the context in which those preferences and behaviors occur. It takes periodic snapshots of everyday work routines and lifestyle habits, and also analyzes the user’s own relationships and experiences that shape their day. This allows iKairos to build a deeper understanding of the user’s everyday life and make sense of information from the real world on their behalf.

From identifying what’s relevant to the wearer and understanding what they’re focused on in the moment, to recognizing changes in their routines from one day to the next, LifeOS paints a fuller picture of the context surrounding the user’s everyday life. By connecting observations across different moments, it can surface insights or patterns that users may not have otherwise noticed by analyzing the user’s behavior and preferences.

In fact, LifeOS can help users better understand their own interactions and relationships. By connecting relevant context across conversations and experiences, it’s capable of analyzing and detecting patterns, connections or memories based on contextual information. For instance, iKairos may notice when a conversation topic, like taking up a hobby like sailing, keeps recurring but is consistently pushed aside, while taking into account information it already knows about the user, like their occasional shoulder pain. Recognizing that the user is stuck in inaction, iKairos will recommend taking up a beginner lesson at a local boathouse during the weekend. Or, in the event that a designer takes inspiration from an exhibited artifact’s intricate textures or colors, iKairos can recall the visuals and bring that fleeting moment back, saving users dozens of minutes of digging into their phone gallery or memory.

More significantly, iKairos’ modular form factor enables it to capture multimodal data, opening the door to a much broader long-term vision for Lingverse. Over time, these diverse real-world observations could help improve its understanding of users and contribute to the development of embodied intelligence. Ultimately, this could enable iKairos to serve as the core intelligence that can be plugged into different physical forms, akin to a robotic soul. This can allow future at-home robots to immediately draw on an existing understanding of a user’s habits, preferences, and routines simply by integrating iKairos into a compatible robotic body or accessory.

“Our vision for iKairos goes far beyond a single physical configuration. By moving between multiple form factors, LifeOS can bring together different perspectives of a user’s life to build a richer understanding of who they are, what they prefer, and the world around them, and to provide recommendations uniquely tailored to each user and their real-world context,” said Jiawei Gu, CEO and Founder of Lingverse. “Over time, we believe this can lay the foundation for a new generation of embodied intelligence, where that understanding can move with the user across wearables, desktop devices and eventually robotics. And we’re building toward that future with privacy at the forefront, ensuring users remain in control of their personal data.”

Protecting User Privacy by Design

iKairos incorporates both physical and software-based privacy protections throughout the system. These include a physical camera shutter, privacy indicator light, and manual mute button, giving users clear visibility into when the device is capturing audio or visual information and direct control over its sensors.

Voice detection and capture controls are handled locally on-device. When cloud processing is required, data is uploaded in accordance with the user’s privacy settings and authorization. However, data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Behind the scenes, user data is not used to train the underlying AI model. Users can manage the retention period for their raw data and delete individual records or account-related data at any time, giving users greater control over when information is collected.
