The Township of King Utilizes Upanup to Simplify Online Services, Making Navigating Municipal Information a Breeze

With over one million online visitors a year, the Township’s websites needed to be accessible and easy for residents to use. Upanup answered that call.

Its previous municipal website and King Township Public Library website needed to be updated to improve content management, consistency, navigation, and online services for the residents of this growing community.

The Township of King chose Upanup to create an innovative redesign for both websites in a way that was intuitive to their important audiences and optimized access to services. Upanup delivered and ensured those websites shared common branding elements with the Township to clearly identify they were affiliated sites.

The King Township website acts as a central source of information for commonly used links. To encourage users to perform as many self-service options online as possible Upanup integrated their website with their chosen CRM system and Forms Portal that is connected to their payment processor, making the process simple for users and manageable for their internal team. The improved websites have been well received by their internal and public users. An example of efficiencies gained for the Township is when an event needs to appear on multiple websites, the sites are connected in a way that allows the Township to simply update it in one spot for that change to appear across all connected websites.
