Language industry research and advisory leader, Slator, has published its flagship Language Industry Market Report for 2024, providing results from a survey on language AI adoption of more than 1000 industry stakeholders. Multilingual AI content generation and AI video dubbing are gaining popularity.

ZURICH, July 3, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Language industry research and advisory leader, Slator, has published its flagship Language Industry Market Report for 2024 that reveals that nearly half of enterprises now see “multilingual AI text generation” as a “top need” for 2024.

“The report opens up an important discussion on how companies are transforming and repositioning in response to new opportunities presented by Language AI”

Multilingual AI content generation can be a powerful tool for increasing customer and user engagement, acquiring customers, and accessing global markets. Enterprises are now also using multilingual AI text generation for internal communication, including emails, SOPs, and reports.

The survey also found that AI video dubbing is a priority for 25% of surveyed enterprises. Advances in voice AI and speech-to-text make it easy and efficient to use AI to dub video content that would otherwise remain in only one language.

Companies are using AI dubbing to create videos in multiple languages in order to train and engage global workforces, and comply with accessibility requirements. Streaming platforms & TV broadcasters are adopting AI to dub news and sports interviews in order to reach global audiences and increase viewer engagement.

The report puts Language AI in focus. It examines how AI dubbing, AI translation, AI text generation, and AI speech translation have been elevated to a C-level priority in enterprises.

Slator’s report presents the latest data on the extent of language AI adoption, and reveals the language AI services currently in most demand.

The report explores the unique opportunity that 2024 presents for language industry players to raise their visibility and expand their role, to enable language AI capabilities across enterprises.

Additionally, the report considers the competitive position of emerging language AI startups, looks at the trend of inserting language AI into existing applications — exemplified by tech leaders such as Meta, Google, Apple, and Adobe — and outlines the implications of these trends for the broader language industry.

Slator’s Head of Research, Anna Wyndham, said: “The report opens up an important discussion on how companies are transforming and repositioning in response to new opportunities presented by Language AI.”

In addition to these insights, the report shares the results of Slator’s analysis of language industry market size and growth, including an analysis by geographic region, language services provider segment, and buyer intention.

The report concludes with a market outlook — with market size projections for 2025 and a five year period to 2028 — and outlines segments of the industry best positioned to win in the short and medium term in this era of AI-driven change.

Chelsea FC name fast-growing fintech platform as Principal Partner

LONDON, Oct. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Chelsea Football Club has today announced a multi-year partnership with Sokin, the embedded finance and payments company used by businesses worldwide. Sokin will be named a Principal Partner and Official Business Payments and FX Partner of Chelsea FC and Chelsea FC Women.

As a Principal Partner, Sokin will be represented on the sleeves of the Chelsea FC men’s, women’s and academy home, away, and third kits from the 2026/27 season.

The partnership brings together two ambitious London-headquartered organisations with worldwide reach – a club with millions of fans across the world and a fintech platform through which businesses move more than $11 billion a year. A club of Chelsea’s scale works in many currencies every day, with partners, competitions and supporters around the world, and needs a financial partner built to handle that.

Sokin gives finance teams business payments, multi-currency accounts, foreign exchange, checkout and treasury in one place, so they spend less time juggling banks and providers and keep more of what they move.

As Official Business Payments and FX Partner, Sokin will simplify how Chelsea FC sends, receives and manages money in the currencies the club operates in.

The Sokin logo will feature on the sleeve of the Chelsea shirt for the first time [when the men’s team host Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 24th October.]

Jason Gannon, President at Chelsea FC said:

“At Chelsea, we seek to partner with organisations that share our ambition and innovative mindset. Sokin’s expertise in business payments, and their focus on making both simpler for the businesses they serve, makes them a natural fit for the Club. We are pleased to welcome Sokin to the Chelsea family and look forward to working together in the years ahead.”

Vroon Modgill, CEO and founder at Sokin said:

“Chelsea plays on the biggest stage in world football, and its business runs in dozens of currencies. Sokin was built for that with regulated, multi-currency payments and foreign exchange for organisations that operate internationally. We’re proud to be the platform behind the business payments and FX of one of the most iconic teams in football. Sokin’s platform serves businesses in more than 170 countries. We’re thrilled to be partners for the season ahead. An organisation as sophisticated as Chelsea doesn’t leave its finances to chance.”

About Sokin
