Experienced Executive Brings Deep Renewable Energy Expertise to Accelerate Solar Asset Management Platform

BOSTON, Jan. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Raptor Maps, the leading platform for remotely managed solar operations, today announced the appointment of Gary Meyers to its Board of Directors. Meyers previously served as CEO of Power Factors and has led multiple technology companies in the renewable energy and software sectors.

Meyers joins Raptor Maps at an inflection point in the energy industry, with data center electricity demand from artificial intelligence (AI) fueling a spike in U.S. national power demand for the first time in ten years. Solar energy remains the cheapest form of new energy around the world, positioning solar to remain a primary driver of both the energy transition and the AI-driven power demand boom.

With a distinguished career at the helm of some of the most disruptive and high impact renewable energy software companies, Meyers brings to the company a powerful blend of experience with renewable energy asset owners and software strategy. Most recently, he led the exponential growth of Power Factors through its acquisition by Vista Private Equity in 2021.

“I’m excited to join the board of Raptor Maps,” said Gary Meyers. “The company is uniquely positioned for significant growth, with a compelling vision that aligns with key trends in the solar industry. By harnessing remotely managed site operations, advanced software, and robotics command and control, Raptor Maps is driving higher solar yield while reducing operational costs—exactly what the industry needs to lower LCOE and position solar as the world’s leading energy source. I look forward to collaborating with Nikhil, Eddie, and the entire leadership team to scale Raptor Maps into a dominant force in the renewable energy sector.”

Raptor Maps CEO, Nikhil Vadhavkar, elaborated, “Gary has an expansive, global, and deeply informed view of the renewables industry which add further dimension to our thinking in the boardroom and the courses we chart for investing in our solutions. Gary shares our mission-driven values and is firmly aligned with our mandate to invest in our world-class customer base, and I’m very excited to formally announce Gary on our board.”

NANCHANG, China, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — A report from Jiangxi International Communication Center (JXICC): The year 2026 marks the 400th anniversary of the birth of Bada Shanren. He was an outstanding master of Chinese calligraphy and painting. His works are treasures of traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting, embodying profound Chinese aesthetics and humanistic heritage, and exerting a far-reaching influence on international art.

Recently, the Event for the 400th Birth Anniversary of Bada Shanren “The Cosmos as Inner Heart: International Youth Step Into Bada Shanren’s World of Art” was held in Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province— the hometown of Bada Shanren. Brushstrokes Without Borders: A Cross-Cultural Art Dialogue

Four hundred years of ink transcends borders. Even with different cultural backgrounds and languages, people can transcend cultural differences and feel the resonance brought by art. Khollii, a Tajik student studying in Jiangxi, was captivated by the distinctive charm of Bada Shanren’s artworks and shared her story about brushstrokes, “This powerful personal expression aligns closely with the pursuit of individuality in Western modern art.”

Bada Shanren’s 400-Year-Old Inner Story Unfolds to Twin Students

Mexican twin international students Luis and Erick are studying in Jiangxi. At first, they were confused by Bada Shanren’s paintings, depicting fish and birds with upturned eyes amid expansive blank spaces. After learning about the artist’s life, they sensed the unyielding emotion in his brushwork. They hope to act as a cultural bridge, sharing the timeless charm of this Jiangxi master’s art with global audiences.

Why We Still Appreciate Bada Shanren’s Works Today

Why do we still appreciate Bada Shanren’s works today? As a foreigner, Mickie from Panama has her answer. To understand Bada Shanren’s works do not need mastery of classical Chinese, thorough knowledge of the complex history of the Ming Dynasty, or deep research into every detail of his life. “Simply feeling the emotions conveyed in his paintings can spark a spiritual dialogue across hundreds of years.”
