CereCore earns top ratings from clients, outperforms in loyalty pillar

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — CereCore®, a leading provider of healthcare IT services, announces an exceptional achievement in 2025 KLAS ratings for the Managed IT Services segment and high scores (all A’s) across all customer experience pillars. The company has received an impressive overall KLAS score of 95.2, marking the second year to be highly rated in this competitive category. KLAS Research, a research organization that helps healthcare providers make informed technology decisions by offering impartial vendor performance information, recognizes CereCore’s dedication to excellence and innovation in delivering top-notch IT services to healthcare organizations.

The Best in KLAS report provides meticulous analysis of client feedback gathered over the course of a year, assigning weighted letter grades to measure five critical customer experience pillars—Loyalty, Operations, Services, Relationship and Value.

CereCore received all A’s in every customer experience pillar, and CereCore earned the highest score in the Loyalty pillar. Clients responded “Yes” 100% of the time to these three binary questions:

Avoids charging for every little thing?Exceeds expectations?Would you buy again?

CereCore was the only vendor whose clients responded “Yes” 100% of the time when asked if their managed IT services provider exceeded expectations.

The Outsourced Managed IT Services category spans a wide range of functions including EHR clinical service desk, patient support desk, technical support, application management services, legacy application support and other managed services work. What is noteworthy of the consistently high score CereCore has maintained two years in a row is the broad scope of managed IT services and the seamless coordination required that goes beyond SLAs and supports true quality and partnership.

“We are honored to serve our clients and work hard to consistently deliver the highest quality IT services because we know as healthcare operators the impact that IT services have on clinical teams and the quality of care they deliver,” said Curtis Watkins, president and CEO at CereCore. “The high score in the KLAS Managed IT Services market segment is evidence of the dedication our team members have to strategic partnership with our clients, to exceeding their expectations, and to provide the expertise they need every day, all the time.”

CereCore takes this opportunity to express gratitude to valued clients for their trust and partnership. Here are several client quotes from the latest KLAS interviews:

“CereCore has been a great partner for our organization. They focus on the customer experience and are willing to go the extra mile to make a difference with their support. They are tireless in their service to us, and we are pleased with the relationship so far. They are willing to jump in and lend an extra hand if there is an exorbitant amount of calls or a situation that we need to deal with on our side. CereCore doesn’t push back. They are ready to jump in and do whatever it takes. They work long hours and are available at all times and every day. They will adjust their staff and bring in more people when needed. We are in healthcare, so everything is urgent, and they understand that.” – Manager, January 2025“CereCore consistently goes above and beyond in all of the categories that we jointly measure, whether it be wait times, call and answer percentages, or satisfaction. Our executives have called in to our help desk and specifically told me that they had to call the support team, that CereCore helped them out, and that the firm’s IT staff was great. When I can follow that feedback with the fact that we just renewed our partnership with CereCore, our management team’s response is that that is great and what we should be doing. Based on end-user feedback, we are extremely satisfied with CereCore. In some of the comments that I have been able to read about CereCore in terms of feedback, our end users do not differentiate between the CereCore staff and our own internal organization’s IT staff. That is probably the best that I could ever hope for. Our end users see CereCore as no different; they see the firm as part of us, so the end users are extremely satisfied.” – CTO, January 2025

“We appreciate the feedback our clients have shared with KLAS about our services and view it as an opportunity to continually improve how we serve as managed IT services partners and work toward improving healthcare through technology,” said Watkins.

Chef Robotics Physical AI Models Can Now Automate Baked Goods Packing

Published

SAN FRANCISCO, April 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Chef Robotics, a leader in physical AI for the food industry, today announced that Chef robots can now automate tray assembly for baked goods packing. The application places baked products, such as burger buns, chocolate chip cookies, biscotti, butter cookies, biscuits, fortune cookies, granola bars, rusks, and shortbreads into trays and packaging containers before sealing.

Watch Chef robots in action.

Baked goods packing has historically been difficult to automate for high-mix production. Each item behaves differently on the production line—a granola bar compresses under the wrong grip, while a biscotti or rusk can crack if placed at the wrong angle. Surface textures range from glazed and smooth to crumbly and irregular, and strict presentation requirements leave little room for error. This variability has made it challenging for automation systems to reliably handle baked goods at production speeds, leaving food manufacturers dependent on manual labor and traditional bakery equipment.

To address this, Chef built its baked goods packing application on its existing piece-picking capability, which uses Chef’s AI-powered computer vision and physical AI models trained across diverse real-world production environments. This allows Chef robots to assess each item’s position, shape, and orientation in real time and determine how to pick the items from the pan and place them quickly and precisely without damaging them.

The baked goods packing application supports four distinct placement capabilities.

First, Chef’s vision system detects the angle at which each item sits in the pan and reorients it after picking, placing it on the tray at the exact angle required, regardless of its original position, enabling retail-ready presentation for SKUs that require precise angular placement.

Second, Chef robots can place multiple baked goods into the same packaging container in a single automated pass, completing full tray assembly without manual intervention.

Third, for packaging containers with multiple small compartments, Chef robots can precisely place items into each designated section, including multiple items in the same compartment, using Chef’s AI vision model to detect compartment positions and orientations in real time.

Fourth, Chef’s vision system identifies the exact center of each tray and places every item at a predefined offset from that center, ensuring a uniform, consistent arrangement across every pack regardless of how trays arrive on the conveyor.

For food manufacturers evaluating bakery systems and baked goods packaging automation, the application offers higher throughput, reduced labor dependency, and consistent presentation across shifts. The capability runs on Chef’s existing robotic hardware and software, allowing manufacturers to deploy it without requiring any changes to their production lines.

Chef’s baked goods packing application is available in the U.S., Canada, Germany, and the UK and is included as part of Chef’s robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) pricing model.
