Alpha Capital Anstalt Warns of Scam and Fraud Alert

VADUZ, Liechtenstein, Feb. 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Alpha Capital Anstalt recently learned of a scam wherein third parties are falsely claiming to be employees or agents of Alpha Capital Anstalt and are contacting individuals and corporate entities claiming to offer investment funding from Alpha Capital Anstalt. These actors are not representatives of Alpha Capital Anstalt and they do not have authority to act on behalf of Alpha Capital Anstalt.

The perpetrators use a variety of methods to contact targets, including third-party messaging services such as WhatsApp, networks connecting start-up businesses with investment funding, and social media. Some of these bad actors may pretend to be real individuals who are actually employed by or associated with Alpha Capital Anstalt, or brokers working on behalf of Alpha Capital Anstalt.

The scam artists have also created fake websites to trick their victims. These websites may be created using cloned company details, and they may even have a web address that is very close to that of the real Alpha Capital Anstalt website.

How to Protect Yourself

If you are approached by someone claiming to represent Alpha Capital Anstalt, please bear in mind:The only legitimate Alpha Capital Anstalt website is at www.alphacapital.liAll individual Alpha Capital Anstalt email addresses end in @alphacapital.li. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from Alpha Capital Anstalt but the email address of the sender does NOT end in @alphacapital.li, that correspondence is not legitimate.

Conduct business in cryptocurrency.Ask clients or prospective clients to transfer funds into a cryptocurrency account in order to confirm the existence of the funds or otherwise.Ask clients or prospective clients for fees or payments in advance of funding.Conduct any business via messaging programs such as WhatsApp, WeChat, Facebook, or LinkedIn.Solicit business in any manner.
